***NEGATIVE STAR REVIEW*** ABSOLUTELY FUCK THIS PLACE…read more Shit communication. Shit employees that apparently can't be bothered to show up for work. *Showed up literally 1st person prior to 7am opening as a walk in for a DOT physical. Blonde says "we have an appointment at 8am." I said ok. I'll wait. She NEVER fucking told me to come check in AGAIN at 8? (I fully communicated I was going to wait, so why the fuck didn't she jist check me in then? ) She said they "no Showed me" at 8 because I didn't come check back in. This level of ineptitude is unprecedented. Literally every person I talked to says never go to this place because it's the most expensive place in town and the service is always less than 1 star. In conclusion: They need to fire all these fucking morons that work there. This was by far one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.

It's all about money, not care. After 5 months of jerking me around, 3 months WITHOUT my extensive medical records, then telling me 4 months after the fact, his expertise doesn't equate to all my issues (most are serious & life-threatening). Nice time to tell me! I'm living on borrowed time & the fear, anxiety, + mental anguish has worsened my emotional/mental state. Listen is a psychiatric counselor/practitioner? I don't believe this. He ruined my holidays with his attitude & false promises, but most of all, he stuck my 2nd leg in the grave, so to say. State/Gov't are looking into this.

I wasn't getting any better and when I told my doctor what they were having me do, she looked horrified. She immediately recommended I stop seeing them and go somewhere else. The care they were giving me was unhelpful at best and harmful at worst. Staff was nice but again that doesn't mean much when the care is how it is.

There was no patient privacy during my initial evaluation, which likely goes against privacy laws. It was done in an open room with other patients within easy hearing distance. 2). The evaluation had rather lame aspects -- e.g., she rubbed either the tip of a paperclip or a piece of tissue on a body part I couldn't see then asked me which was soft or sharp. Duh. 3). When she finally went over exercises with me, she showed me a quick video of them but never asked me to do them in front of her to ensure I was doing them correctly. 3). They schedule appointments without your permission, a great way to get no-show fees. I stood right in front of the receptionist to schedule all my future appointments, which were weeks away (a caring PT would have scheduled subsequent visits the same time they scheduled my initial eval, don't you think?). I got a text a few hours later saying I had an appointment the next day, which I never agreed to. I called to straighten this out only to find they'd also scheduled me for two more appointments I hadn't agreed to -- yet more no-show fees. 4). The website is a joke -- I had to call twice to get the proper log-in info ("Benchmark Physical Therapy" doesn't work) so I could get a copy of my initial evaluation, which they would not provide me with at that first appointment. The only reason I called to get that log-in info was so I could print out the evaluation then cancel all my future appointments.

The food is motivation to get on with the rest of your life ; ). That said, you can have grubhub, chownow or doordash deliver hot food from most of the restaurants in Eugene. The building itself is 1970s: large rooms with big windows. The facility is sparkling clean although the furnishings dated. Compared to other facilities which are larger, I prefer this small 50 bed facility. As with all healthcare, you need a little push to get things rolling especially during CoVid pandemic but the staff here is terrific! One cannot visit residents anywhere in rehab right now in OR so just a caveat...unless your loved one is end of life, you will need to keep in touch by phone. The alternative is walkie talkie visits during pandemic. Items brought in will be washed (clothes) and or held behind the front desk for 24 hours.
