While waiting in the waiting room, I overheard an employee sticking up for one of their customers regarding a price quote he got from what sounded like a part distributor. The distributor wanted to pass on a significant price increase for shipping to the customer. The Forrest Howes' employee was respectfully pushing back and felt this was not right for the customer and the distributor should not do this as he was previously quoted a lesser price. I couldn't tell the details of the conversation, but it just made me feel like the place could be trusted and had integrity. It's always nice to see a business truly value their customers. I experienced a catastrophic failure of the left lower control arm while driving. I had my car…read moretowed to Sanborn's that Saturday. When they put it up on the lift, it was determined that the right lower control arm was in nearly the same condition. The parts were not on hand and had to be ordered which took some time and rolled into my vacation out of state. They were very understanding and contacted me after my vacation to make arrangements for me to get my car back. My parents, both deceased now, relied on Sanborn's for all of their vehicle maintenance for over 30 years. As an aside, I'm pretty sure it would have cost me at least double for these repairs at the dealership.
