The distributor wanted to pass on a significant price increase for shipping to the customer. The Forrest Howes' employee was respectfully pushing back and felt this was not right for the customer and the distributor should not do this as he was previously quoted a lesser price. I couldn't tell the details of the conversation, but it just made me feel like the place could be trusted and had integrity. It's always nice to see a business truly value their customers. It was reassuring to witness as I'm not from the area and needed a mechanic.

Case in point. I thought I had break problems as the car was making a squeal when I applied the brakes and later on it had a rubbing noise while driving. Called them and yes, they could have had me brought the car to them and charged me for a break job I didn't need. But no. The problem was a simple issue which I resolved myself with their guidance. On another case, I had a puncture in one of the exhaust pipes. It would have been simple for them to have an entire exhaust repair. Instead, I was pointed to a repair place nearby where they were able to do some precision welding for a fraction of what it could have cost. Their service orientation is above par. Devon and Gage are able to provide superb support even in the middle of the busiest days. Unflappable people. They do have AAA discounts too.
