I was told "bring it in no worries, we gotcha" Based on that information, I brought my vehicle in. When I picked it up, I was unexpectedly charged $200 for the diagnosis. If I had been told there would be a fee, I could have made an informed decision before leaving my vehicle. I have no issue paying for services when the costs are communicated upfront, but being told one thing over the phone and charged something completely different is unacceptable. I'm leaving this review so other customers are aware and can be sure to get any pricing in writing before authorizing service. Poor communication and a lack of transparency like this erode customer trust. I won't be returning, and I hope this review helps others avoid the same experience.

If you go for a ball joint, they will sell you control arms. They will say, it will be impossible to do the job without the upgrade. They prefer to use their source for parts because they make upwards of 30% on that brand. Lastly, they will charge you $50 for 2 rags and 1.00 worth of break fluid. My advise, go somewhere else for the same price.

When we returned home, we went down to pick it up and it was not ready "we need to test drive it one more time" We returned the next day, the car was ready and I was handed a bill of $2,800. That is not the work I asked for, that was the cost if I let the problem get worse. I was fuming inside but paid the bill and left. When I returned home, I found two Wyndham Hotel keys in my center console which I cleaned out before I dropped the car off. There was significant mileage on my car. I called and spoke with Eric. He claimed the hotel keys were probably found on the floor of the garage and someone put them in my car ( huh?). He also denied someone drove my car - well, I sure didn't and I knew what the milage was because they had just changed my oil and I was able to calculate the difference. Overall, very disappointing as it is so difficult to find honest mechanics. The people who referred us to Auto Advisors are no longer customers there either.

But today my check engine light had come…read moreon after leaving so I called Prompto and spoke to Brandon who was willing to drive 30 minutes to my house to ensure nothing was messed up. We were able to resolve the issue without him having to make the trip, but the fact he was willing to make the drive shows great customer service to me. He made sure to let me know that if there are any more issues to call or stop by the shop any time and when his availability was.

Corporate never responded to a request to discuss (I sent an email to the address in the comment below but nobody replied. The regional manager does not want to learn from this - hence this review). On two occasions here I was left standing in the front for over 5 minutes with no one to greet me or tell me I would be helped soon, etc. I've also found that it takes longer for an oil change here than most other places and there are no real "value added" services.

My husband and I both bring our vehicles there for maintenance until what happened on 8/2. Howard Witherspoon who is supposed to be the "manager" took a scheduled oil change for 3pm he called at 3:49pm to let us know it was done. We told him we were on our way. We have 3 kids to get together and get ready to go get the other vehicle back. Howard called back at 3:58 and said "hey just so you know we close at 4pm" my husband told him we were already on our way. We arrived at 4:06 the door was locked and not a single employee was in sight. They kept the keys to our vehicle and left us without our company truck, and my husband had to lose time at work to go sort this out the next day. We were left without access to a vehicle we use on the daily and still needed for the rest of the evening. When he got their Monday am he was told that they don't wait for anyone and he stayed till 4:05 and that he didn't care because his shift was over. Still charged us over $120 for our oil change and told my husband he was never allowed back in. Also to add they got oil all over the front of the truck. Not only did they lose two customers and vehicles we brought there on the regular, but the lack of compassion and professionalism is beyond me. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from here.

We have been taking two cars to Marshall's for 12 and a half years and we couldn't be happier…read more Their mechanics are experts on just about everything. Best of all, they're scrupulously honest. Case in point. I thought I had break problems as the car was making a squeal when I applied the brakes and later on it had a rubbing noise while driving. Called them and yes, they could have had me brought the car to them and charged me for a break job I didn't need. But no. The problem was a simple issue which I resolved myself with their guidance. On another case, I had a puncture in one of the exhaust pipes. It would have been simple for them to have an entire exhaust repair. Instead, I was pointed to a repair place nearby where they were able to do some precision welding for a fraction of what it could have cost. Their service orientation is above par. Devon and Gage are able to provide superb support even in the middle of the busiest days. Unflappable people. They do have AAA discounts too. Best yet, they support veteran causes and that is an added star in my book. We use them for everything related to our vehicles. Superb members of our community, superb professionals, superb people.
