I was leaving on a 12 day trip in a couple of weeks so we left the car to have the work done while we were gone. When we returned home, we went down to pick it up and it was not ready "we need to test drive it one more time" We returned the next day, the car was ready and I was handed a bill of $2,800. That is not the work I asked for, that was the cost if I let the problem get worse. I was fuming inside but paid the bill and left. When I returned home, I found two Wyndham Hotel keys in my center console which I cleaned out before I dropped the car off. There was significant mileage on my car. I called and spoke with Eric. He claimed the hotel keys were probably found on the floor of the garage and someone put them in my car ( huh?). He also denied someone drove my car - well, I sure didn't and I knew what the milage was because they had just changed my oil and I was able to calculate the difference. Overall, very disappointing as it is so difficult to find honest mechanics. The people who referred us to Auto Advisors are no longer customers there either.

We needed a battery and they were able to store the car, for a daily fee, until we could pick it up.

Over charged for a stud and lug nut replacement that takes 15 min to do my girlfriend came in for a…read moreflat tire patch they broke the lug nut and stud trying to get the tire off and then said it'll take 2.7 hours to fix and charged $189 an hour for a total of $538 when I told my girl to call back and cancel they said it was finished in only one hour I called them they were rude trying to convince me it takes 3 hours to get a caliper and rotor off to replace two studs on one wheel if you don't know much about cars don't go here they'll scam you and on top of that my girl is a travel nurse and knows nobody in New Hampshire and she came in there with her nurse scrubs and they still ripped her off

Two changes before this week's, I went, and as usual, there was a new guy, only he was working alone and going between 2 vehicles. The experience was different. I got home and told my husband it didn't seem like they did what they usually do and he never checked the oil when he was done. My husband checked it immediately. It was dirty oil and way over full. We called immediately and brought it back the next day. The manager confirmed the oil was dirty and over filled. He said it likely didn't drain properly. The next time my husband took it and everything went ok. This time was all new people except the manager. When I got home my husband noticed they wrote it was a quart low on arrival. My car is well maintained and never should have been a quart of oil low. He checked it and it was again, way over filled. I am so over Prompto in Claremont NH. Maybe pay your help better and get people who actually know how to read my dipstick, which is a little different than most. I will not ever be back. EDIT: My husband took it back and they redid the oil change. I will still never go back. Twice is enough.

I also booked a tire rotation and was told to expect to wait one hour for both services. After one hour, the tire rotation was finally completed and then it took another 30 minutes for the oil change. So, I was kept waiting 30 minutes longer than expected and I paid over $30 more than the dealership would have charged me for the oil change. Live and learn.

She failed to mention, however, that there would be a 1.50 tire fee for each tire and a 12 to 14-dollar service fee for each tire. I was told "bring it in no worries, we gotcha" Based on that information, I brought my vehicle in. When I picked it up, I was unexpectedly charged $200 for the diagnosis. If I had been told there would be a fee, I could have made an informed decision before leaving my vehicle. I have no issue paying for services when the costs are communicated upfront, but being told one thing over the phone and charged something completely different is unacceptable. I'm leaving this review so other customers are aware and can be sure to get any pricing in writing before authorizing service. Poor communication and a lack of transparency like this erode customer trust. I won't be returning, and I hope this review helps others avoid the same experience.
