The mechanic came out with a brake pad in his hand and told me I should get another 10k out of them! The following week I had an appointment at my dealer for an oil change (free) I waited nearly 2 hours and they came out and said they had taken my brakes apart and that I needed to do a break job immediately! I told them no and pulled my receipt from Northeast and showed them the note brakes good for 10 k. They said nothing and put my brakes back together. I arrived at 1:03 and was told it would be about 1/2 hour as the tech was finishing up the car he was working on. I thought that was reasonable so had a seat in their waiting area. A woman was there also waiting. Her car was completed about 30-40 minutes later. In the meantime two other customers arrived. At 2:15 both of their cars were completed (also for tire repairs) and I'm still sitting there. I asked for an update and someone checked and said it would be 15 more minutes. I asked why people that came in after me were already completed. I was told the techs they were assigned must have finished their previous vehicles quicker. I finally left at 2:38. So it doesn't matter if you have an appointment, it's which tech they assign you to! It certainly isn't in a first come first serve process! So, hope that the tech you are "assigned" has easier vehicle repairs before yours!

When I got my vehicle back, two wheel studs were broken and center caps on all four wheels severely scratched. It looked like they have used impact gun without taking caps off during dis/mounting. I spoke with their manager, Jack, and he has blamed Toyota for "defective" studs and swore that their tech has taken caps were off while mounting/dismounting wheels. I have rotated tires prior at least 5 times mostly at Toyta dealerships, and never had a problem with studs or center caps, so, I think, the manager is just blatantly covering for their bad service. I went to Toyota dealership to fix broken studs and examine the rest of them to make sure they were not defective (which they weren't). I also got a quote to replace all center caps. So my total cost was $400. After weeks of going back and forth with Jack, Stratham Tire would not reimburse me any of the money, and, he basically said I would have to sue them to get anything back. Free rotations for life of the tire the set came with is now also useless to me, because I would not let Stratham Tire touch my car ever again. I hope this helps to someone to make better informed decision and avoid falling into the same trap I did.

Update: went to Irwin Chevrolet to have them figure out what was wrong considering they are a…read moredealership. Ok here is / was the list of issues: 1- break pads installed incorrectly on passenger side. 2- loose piston caused by the break pads and now rubbing on the pads. 3- missing hardware / lock screw. 4- damaged / bad calipers Total repair cost was north of $2000.00 the electronic calipers being the majority of the cost. My bill from Irwin that day was $283.00. I drove to VIP right after to discuss this with them. Jeremy Gooden was very nice and understanding and assured me I would be paid for this work. He apologized again and hoped to gain my business back. On 1/24/25 I received a call letting me know the check was being sent. Today 1/31/25 I received the check. Drumroll please......$283.00 no other amount no explanation nothing. I have again reached out to VIP Gary MacCausland VP of operations as he was the one that sent me the check to ask for a reason. I also reached out to the initial response I received from VIP forgot the persons name asking for the same information. So the saga continues. I truly hope this helps people when it comes to making decisions on who works on your car and how they stand behind their work. This whole experience has cost me well over $2500.00 so far. I'll update again more than likely will be a legal response.
