I loved this place when it initially opened and shortly thereafter. It has seemingly gone a bit downhill more recently... What was once a warm interior with well merchandised curated goods is now sparse and dim. It almost looks as if they were about to close for good. Not sure what is going on with this place as the ownership hasn't changed - though initially I thought that might have explained the changes. Hopefully things come back around here. read more

I really wanted to like this place but I was a little disappointed. A friend of mine had ordered delivery from UberEats for me and I got the breakfast sandwich. The eggs are cooked soufflé style with cheddar and havarti which should have a smooth texture but it tasted very overdone (a bit dry) and it came with bacon which was good but there was so much aioli smothered on both sides of the bun, it was too overpowering and made the whole sandwich very salty. The brioche bun tasted stale that it was crumbling off. The Matcha Latte on the other hands was very good. I had mine with honey so it wasn't too sweet like a lot of other places. I wouldn't dismiss this place completely because I ordered delivery and it was just one item so I'll definitely give this place another try and update my review. read more

I was in the area on Thursday morning, the weather was wonderful and their outdoor seating was definitely being put to good use. They have a walk up window for take out orders or you can order inside and grab a seat as well. The owner walked up and approached me to explain what my options were for grabbing a quick coffee. She was so sweet and eager to help our her staff. Everyone was so kind and pleasant. I ordered my usual oat milk cappuccino. I decided to stay and enjoy my coffee before running to my next errand of the day. It was the perfect temperature, texture, well balanced flavor of milk and espresso. They have a super clean and tidy bathroom, and plenty of space if you have a stroller in use. They also have sustainable kitchen and home supplies also! Seems like a pretty smart place to have the coffee shop next to the parking garage. It is a little pricey but worthwhile for enjoying a day out in the Winter Park area. Modern, hip, and absolutely adorable, this is the coffee and small breakfast spot every town should have. The best part is they have more than coffee - blue (spirulina) drinks, turmeric golden mylk, chai latte, and of course every coffee drink you would ever desire. Made fresh to order and served piping hot. Inside and outside seating, relaxing ambiance. Highly recommended. read more

I'm actually kind it annoyed at how much I enjoyed my breakfast here because now I know I'll be going back and there are so many delicious options in winter park already at more reasonable price points. I got the veganized mushroom crepe (they swap the cheese for avocado) and my boyfriend got the classic breakfast sandwich. We also split a short stack of red velvet pancakes. The crepe was definitely worth it and was ridiculously delicious. The breakfast sandwich was missing the cheese and was definitely overpriced. The rose mocha latte was delicious. The chai tea latte was somewhat flavorless, definitely not our favorite. The pancakes were really good but super overpriced for two pancakes, they also tasted nothing like red velvet. It was a overall a really good breakfast, and I'd go back for another crepe, but I think I'd stick with Ethos for the rest. read more

We came to visit today for the first time, while in town. We called ahead to see how busy. They said it was steady but still a couple tables. It was crowded when we showed up at 10ish am (sat) both inside and outside, but we got a table inside right away- score! The outside looked very nice though, and covered. Dogs and kids galore. We ordered at the counter, since it's counter service only. I ordered the breakfast crepe. It was pretty good. Bacon, egg, potato wedges, cheese, aioli. My boyfriend ordered the frittata- made w egg, sweet potato, kale, goat cheese, etc, and comes w a side of baby kale. He added avocado also. My son ordered the brekkie sandwich- has their egg patty, bacon, two cheeses, on a brioche bun. He got the aioli on the side since he's picky. We ordered one 12oz oatmilk latte, half-caff, one pump vanilla, and one 8oz whole milk latte w vanilla. They came out in these cool creative ceramic mugs w a design/ texture. Both lattes were really good and the latte art was pretty! We really enjoyed our coffees. They didn't have juice or anything much for my son, in terms of drinks. But they did have a water station to get your own water. My crepe was pretty good but nothing to write home about. I wish there was an option that had meat and veggies combined and a flavorful sauce- more variety. They did have a veggie Crepe but it had no meat or cheese w it. There are many add-ons but it gets very pricy. Each crepe was already pricy at about $16.... A but steep. My boyfriend loved his frittata. His had a lot of good stuff in it and lots of flavor. And was healthier with no bread etc- only carbs were sweet potatoes in it. Yum! For my son's sandwich -- the egg patty was a very very thick circle, so it made the sandwich very thick and hard to eat lol. I took the egg out and cut it into three thinner patties to help him eat it and then it was fine lol. Their whole wall around the back is a 'minimalist' type gift shop of sorts, w trinkets, gifts, coffee items, mugs, bags, many items, all to match to their minimalist look and feel of their coffee shop. Even their kids highchair matched the aesthetics. The customer service was good. We got our coffees quickly, despite the line we stood in to order. Food came out soon after. People checked in on us and we're friendly. The only downside, really was the price... for our three breakfast items, and two coffees... it came to $70!! (including tip). But oyyyy didn't expect $70 for a casual coffee shop breakfast..... we do them a lot and this was by far the priciest yet. I would like to add one star because of what I tried today. The almond tea cake is amazing. Ask them to warm it up for you in the microwave a little bit, pair it with a cappuccino and it becomes the best morning treat. It's so good that made me wanna update my review. First review: This place's been open for a couple months now and I've tried both their espresso coffee as well as their food options. Coffee wise I'll give them a 4.5/5. Not sure but I heard from a friend that they are using Lineage which is my favorite coffee. I always order a cappuccino and the only thing that was wrong about my drink was the ratio of foam to milk. My cup was almost filled with all milk instead of foam. As for the food I tried both their soup and salad. $22 including tip made me raise my expectations. The spicy tomato soup was good and the salad was okay. But come on $22 is way too much and I was hungry again couple hours after . So a 3.5/5 for the food and 1/5 for the price. Wow, what a cute new coffee and wellness bar. I came right over to this place after seeing their creamy polenta bowls on their instagram page. Of course I ordered it, and was pleasantly surprised at how filling, yet guilt-free it was. The bowl includes creamy polenta of course, kale, roasted tomatoes, lentil sausage, hard boiled eggs, rosemary biscuit, microgreens, pesto and lemony greens everything seasoning. So creative and very tasty. I got a Golden Chai Latte with it, one of their most popular wellness drinks. This includes a turmeric spice blend, cordyceps, and oat milk combined with their house chai. The flavors were surprising, you'll kind of taste a little honey and cinnamon at first. It was so yummy. This place features healthy spins on well-known dishes, as well as providing specialty coffee and health drinks. Their menu also includes crepes, breakfast plates, bowls, salads, small bites, sandwiches and toasts. The inside has a clean, modern look to it, with almost community-like seating. They also have house items for sale on their shelves, like coffee pots and plants. They have an online grocery store where you can purchase housemade items, such as honey, granola, hummus, pickled vegetables and cold brew coffee. Randomly decided to go here with a friend to meet up for a brunch date and both of us were blown away!! The coffee is delicious (I had a vanilla latte) and all but it's the FOOD that you should go give a chance. Because both of us had major FOMO we couldn't decide on just one item we decided to both pick a menu item and then split them so we could each try. I chose the mushroom and goat cheese crepes and my friend selected the lemon blueberry pancakes. Oh my goodness I can't even begin to tell you which dish was my favorite. I love how they complimented each other. The savory crepe and the sweet pancake. Mmmm. I am still dreaming about it. In addition to the delicious food it's got indoor and outdoor seating so if you have a dog (as many do in winter park) feel free to bring it with you. They have an outdoor window so you don't even have to go inside. But if you do go inside there are plenty of unique items for purchase and browse. Cute little spot in Winter Park with a variety of drinks and other merchandise for sale. Prices of items are a bit much - I would love to stop in for Happy Hour but I work a day job so I am unable to stop in. Service was fairly quick for a Sunday morning. The baristas were friendly and very helpful when ordering - they were knowledgeable in products they have. I tried the iced matcha tea. It was not sweet enough for me - I prefer iced matcha from other establishments in Winter Park instead. I would think about going back back to try their other drinks though. The set-up of this store is a bit horrible. There is one small main entrance with a small walking area. It bottle necks up a bit at the door if you arrive at a popular time. I do love that they have a window outside you can order from. How fun! There is limited seating inside. Don't really have too much else to say. I wasn't blown away. read more

Not friendly While staying at The Alfond Inn I came here twice for a latte. The latte was awesome. But, the device and staff were terrible. I got it to go and they didn't tell me it was ready but set it in the counter. I tried to make small talk with the cashier and asked a question about one of the drinks and the manager or what looked like the manager interrupted him (I think he was new) and proceeded to finish telling me. But, she was annoyed that I was asking different questions about menu items. This lady looked to be the manager. She didn't smile one time and I thought well maybe she's having a bad day. I went back the second morning of my stay, same type of unthankful, I hate my job type service. I won't ever go back. I wanted to write this review in hopes the owner will see this and get rid of the bad eggs. Seriously, not a pleasant experience. Tucked away next to the colonial drugs (that has existed for years in WP!) is New General! Absolutely love the interior of the store and the aesthetic. Meh. Kinda sad to say because I had high hopes, but I think this place is overhyped! I want to like it, I just can't see myself coming back here personally though. The area is very touristy so the environment represented that, just not the "coffee shop" energy I'm looking for. Not only that but one of the baristas seemed annoyed by my presence. But the other two seemed nice. Cute concept/place, although coffee was lackluster. Presentation was better than the actual drink. Nothing positively memorable about it, it was just okay. I love. I love so much. Not only do they serve lineage coffee (the original, best coffee in Orlando) but they also have buttermilk bakery pastries!! One of my favorite bakeries of all time (I love that they change their menu up so frequently and bake in small batches). The interior of this place is fantastic (and I am an Architecture student so trust!! + it reminds me of cafes in Seoul and god those are too good). The food is amazing, I still dream about the Chicke buddha bowl I got (which I even had leftovers from because it was so filling!). I tried my dad's sandwich and it was amazing + my mom got the Teriyaki rice bowl (not pictured) and she loved it. Best coffee shop award goes to this sweet place. My husband and I were told by several other restaurants in the area to pop in because it is their favourite place too! And goodness gracious they were right! I got the turmeric golden chai latte and my husband got a iced chai tea. This is such a cool and relaxed place. They have great salads to take on the go and they have a nice drink selection. The prices for drinks are a little high but it's nice to have every once in a while. They have a window so you can order your drink outside and take it to go. If you go inside they have lots of cool stuff you can purchase. When I go I like to order an ice turmeric latte.
