The burrito is a good size with shredded chicken which is juicy and really doesn't need anything (but guacamole never hurts). Quick but it closes on the early side some days so if you're looking for dinner, come early before they close. His premier menu item are his various mole sauces on enchilada; 40 different recipes, many his own creations. He serves up 6 enchilada with different rotating sauces. The employee asked if I wanted them mixed, and not really knowing what that meant, I just said sure. When I got home, I realized "mixed" means you get the meat along with different parts of the pig. Everything was tasty, but it was a little fattier than I prefer, so next time I'll know to ask for just the meat. We also tried the barbacoa, which was delicious, but now that I've tried both, I know the carnitas are what I'll be coming back for. We ordered rice and beans as well, and while they were fine, they weren't anything to rave about. The carnitas come with cilantro, onions, and lime, so you have everything you need to enjoy them at home. Overall, I can definitely see why Carnitas Don Alfredo is known for their carnitas. It may have been my first visit, but it definitely won't be my last!
