Located on Westheimer, in a large round building that is visible for a mile in any direction or thereabouts, known as Westheimer Central Plaza. This is central to my thinking when it comes to writing reviews today. This is a beautiful building that is circular and very eye-catching and seems to stand alone in this part of Houston, and it's absolutely gorgeous. Mortgage lender, we have been filing paperwork for assistance several times now, due to zero communication on missing docs, their staff dont know what they are doing (poor training) its got ridiculous to the point my husband and i both got on call and spoke to different people (stating different info). The false monthly threats on possible foreclosure led us to rush and ask for assistance, we sat on the process for 7 months...we have contacted the "escalating cases dept". We are ready and have been ready to accept any adjustments they make and we are able to pay off an amount before foreclosure day - we fear this company will set us up to fail by not processing things on time. We have been on top of it and sending then whatever it is they have needed. We plan on selling our property if we can avoid foreclosure for the sole purpose of avoiding any business with this company. AS VETERANS WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM! We let them know months in advance what our situation was and they heartlessly made zero effort to understand or care at all. They are heartless people. My children sobbed and cried having to be let down once again not being able to move into Our new home it broke my heart to break the news to them. Through this search, my friends and family recommended: BBVA, Wells Fargo, Chase, and Zeus Mortgage. I stumbled upon Mortgages Direct via BBB's A+ Rating. I called each one of these companies for quotes and information on mortgages and a lot of them were really good at providing good service with good quotes, but there was one person who just took service, product pricing, and professionalism to a level higher than the others. That person was Brian Crawford. Brian works very hard for you because he wants to earn your business. He goes FAR beyond any other business to make sure you are satisfied. He's been a man of his word and really follows through on what he says. He will also take the time to educate you on all the ins-n-outs of the loan so that you understand every thing that is being charged to you, etc. He answers his calls and returns them promptly if he doesn't get it the first time. He's really what you expect out of a mortgage lender, but MORE! I definitely would use Brian Crawford and Mortgages Direct again because of the exemplary service provided and the very competitive pricing on the loans. My only fear is that reviews like this one will drive more business to him and I won't be able to get a hold of him when I want to refinance or something in the future...
