In particular, I benefited from Robert's analysis on the best use of my capital from a standpoint of structuring the loan (e.g. should I pay 20% down, more than 20% down, invest extra capital to earn returns, etc.) He was great in debunking some myths related to equity/debt and he helped me make what I believe will be a wise decision from an economical (and practical) perspective. Strategic properties still found a way to trump up fees and keep an $1800 deposit. Two fees in particular, the stove was missing a small cosmetic piece, so Strategic properties decided to charge me almost $800 to buy a brand new stove even though the old stove worked just fine with no mechanical issues at all. They also threw in an almost $500 fee for cleaning the air ducts of a home that I do not own. Again, if you want to get your deposit back with no hassles , you should avoid strategic properties, this company is a scamming company.
