I am incredibly picky, and somehow he managed to still get me everything I wanted within my budget. He doesn't rush or push you into buying just to make a sale or commission. He actually listen to your wants and needs, and does his best to make sure you are 100% happy. Buying a home is a big deal, and you definitely want to be sure you're working with a agent that you can trust, and has your best interest at heart. Rene and his team made me feel comfortable and confident that I could put my trust in them. There was always someone available to show me a home when I wanted to see one, and he was there every step of the way. He did not disappoint, and I would highly recommend using Rene if you are in the market to sell or buy a home. Rene Sorola makes dreams come true!! I know that sounds corny but it's true. :)

As real estate represents our family's largest investments, we need to make informed decisions. The city of Houston aggressively increased our home's appraisal by 20% and thus property taxes by about 10%. This large increase in no way reflected reality. Shana assisted us in the valuation of our home and what we needed to communicate to the city. We are quite confident that her analysis will save us money for many years going forward. Come June 1st, i found out Evan and Shana would be my new management. These guys are AWESOME!! With my first management company which was a large company, i had to drop off a check downtown. This is 2018. With Evan, I paid online. So easy! When my unit has had issues, instead of calling someone or a lengthy email, i just use an online portal to submit issues. The responses are super quick- either someone coming to repair or scheduling a repair. I see lots of reviews from the people who hired Evan Howell, they are completely correct with how they treat everyone. If I could do it all over again, I'd look for a rental these guys managed. Or maybe i will have them as my realtor when i decide to buy a home. Either way, I'd like to continue to use their services any way i can.

Mark gave us the confidence to market and sell at a price that well-suited our property and the area. He demonstrated utmost professionalism throughout the entire process of marketing, showings, and negotiations, while respecting our need to run a law firm at the same time. We realize that no small thanks should be given to Mark's efforts and fair dealings throughout the process. I have commented to my wife at least twice how great it was to have a realtor that thinks the way I do about negotiations and closing. I would like to call this "cool and collected," though he exhibits it more that I. More to the point, Mark's advice, attitude, and hard work got this deal done. Beware of any property that is management by this company. They have absolutely no compassion for…read moreany situation and go to the extreme to get their financial gain. We lived there for a total of 3 months I was placed on FMLA with no financials due to my mothers health decline with dementia. She was on home hospice care. We depended at that point on my mother's pension to pay rent. When asking for a couple of days as a grace period to pay the rent which was literally 7 days as my mothers pension came in the second weds of the month this company said no we need to treat everyone equally. By that Tuesday they had filed in the court for eviction adding $500 more to the roster leaving me with a penalty of over $1,200. When reaching out again for help they said no they wanted the entire rent with penalties to stop eviction we had to move out. I had to send my mother to a nursing home yanking her from our side which is only three of us here in Texas my Mother, Son and myself. I had to do estate sales of all my mothers and family's possessions which then in turn move to a one bedroom leaving behind what I had as I had no where to go or store my families belongings. This company ruined me by simply giving me 7 days this could have been avoided. Oh side note they added at the end damages to roof shingles and the roof (in 3 months! Which was added on the move in) There is a special place for companies and its employees that have absolutely no compassion. As my mother has now passed my son and I are starting our new life but I will always remember this experience for the rest of my life. Hopefully in the future they will show a bit more compassion to their tenants as we are humans not just numbers in the books for their clients.
