I had an awful experience with Rene Sorola and Stephanie Halliburton. Do not hire him he will mislead you about market performance. My house only had a few days in the market and he called me asking to reduce the price in 5k stating that he never have seen the market performing so slow. He doesn't have the customer best interest in mind at all, this team work for them and how to get their commission as soon as possible. If you already made the big mistake to hire them, be careful, DO NOT Trust them!!! They were forcing me to execute a document for a second time. read more

I had a terrible experience with Rene Sorola and Ashley Starks. They would not show me a property unless I signed an exclusivity agreement with them. They tried to pressure and bully me into signing the agreement before we had even met once. Ashley made promises and never followed through. I expected Rene to help solve the issues but he choses not to do so and instead wanted to waste my time with a meeting and to force me to sign the agreement. They were selfish, rude, and unprofessional. I have never been treated this way by anyone in real estate. I would not just walk, but would run. read more

At first I was impressed with the presentation by the realtor I spoke with to sell my home. However, after the first few months it soured. I kept with the agency way too long. They use outside vendors for the open houses, which were minimal and I only found out about them third-handed. An example of poor open house, the agent in charge of the open house received complaints that there was a bug on the floor and a coke can in the bushes: he did not bother to pick these things up; he merely wrote that people complained. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing there, and when I tried very hard to explain this to Rene himself, he didn't listen. Example: for the 2nd time while listing with him, I received a call that an updated contract had been sent to me, and 10 minutes later I received a call that they are coming to pick up the keys. One person in the office is unaware of what another person is doing. And I always heard: "I don't handle that." I do not have time to manage his business office for him. The topping on the cake: my daughter's friend returned Oakley sunglasses to our house, placed them on the porch and pulled out at the same time that the people pulled up to pick up the key. My daughter returned within 10 minutes and the sunglasses were gone. She called Rene Sorola's office and was told that they are not a lost and found division, and hung up on her. After that they refused to take her call. I left a message for Rene 2 days ago to explain why I am not relisting with him. He has yet to return my call. They are disorganized and cannot communicate. I would really appreciate the return of my daughters $150 sunglasses but I won't hold my breath. Almost a year in a top neighborhood and they could not show or sell the house.
