We went in and I mentioned this was our first time in and we got a quick run down of things. Their menu is super large and there are a ton of options, fairly overwhelming. My friend would not stop raving about her peanut butter pie protein shake and I liked my chocolate peanut butter banana shake. I would stop in again if I was looking for a quick protein shake option!

This gem of a spot has earned its place in my routine for many reasons, but it's their amazing selection of teas, protein shakes, and top-tier customer service that really set them apart. Raise the Bar's Mega Teas are honestly some of the best I've had. Always refreshing, always packed with flavor, and the perfect pick-me-up to get you through the day. Whether you're looking for something energizing or just a little treat, they have you covered. I've tried a variety, but I can confidently say you'll never go wrong with whatever you pick. When it comes to their protein shakes, they're truly to die for. You won't find these shakes anywhere else--they're rich, satisfying, and surprisingly light, which makes them the perfect post-workout snack or even a meal replacement when you're on the go. My absolute favorites are the Peanut Butter Cheesecake, Fluffenutter, and Ice Cream Cookie shakes. Each one is a flavor experience--decadent and indulgent without the guilt. The Peanut Butter Cheesecake Shake is smooth and creamy, with just the right amount of peanut butter flavor to hit that sweet spot. The Fluffenutter is a nostalgic throwback to your childhood, combining marshmallow and peanut butter flavors in the most mouthwatering way. The Ice Cream Cookie shake? It's like having dessert in a cup, but way healthier. Perfectly balanced with a delightful sweetness that doesn't feel overwhelming. One of the best parts of Raise the Bar Nutrition is the amazing staff. Bethany, Megan, and Jennicka are the heart and soul of the place. They're the kind of people who greet you with a smile, make sure you're having a great experience, and really make you feel like a part of the family. Their genuine kindness and enthusiasm for what they do is contagious, and it's clear that they take pride in providing excellent service. They always make great recommendations if you're indecisive (like I tend to be when there's so much goodness to choose from!), and you can tell they really enjoy what they do. Every time I go, I feel like I'm treated like a VIP! The atmosphere at Raise the Bar is another reason why I keep coming back. The place is always spotless, meticulously clean, and has a welcoming vibe that makes you want to stick around and relax. It's a comfortable, cozy spot where you can sip your tea or shake while catching up on work, chatting with friends, or simply enjoying the moment. They're also constantly coming up with new options to try, which is exciting! There's always something fresh to look forward to, whether it's a seasonal drink or a new shake flavor that's just been added to the menu. Raise the Bar Nutrition in East Greenwich is hands down one of the best places in the area to treat yourself to something delicious, healthy, and energizing. From the refreshing mega teas to the decadent protein shakes (which are impossible to resist), you're in for a treat every time you walk through the door. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won't regret it!

I decided to stop by and I've noticed their menu has expanded a bit as they now offer bowls (yogurt/acai) I decided to try one of these new bowls--green dream yogurt. The first thing I noticed was the size of the bowl. It was rather small, maybe a diameter of 4 inches and about 2 inches tall. The yogurt base was supposed to have flavors of avocado, lime, honey, spinach and kale. I didn't quite taste all of these but it was a sweet base with a pretty green color. The fruit on top was fresh and I think they all worked together to give a creamy (coconut), sweet (mango), tangy (blueberries) crunchy (granola) experience. I remember trying one of their breakfast wraps a while ago and was not impressed so I was skeptical of trying their food again but I did have the Baja chicken wrap and it was very delicious (especially for a smoothie place with limited cooking supplies). The rice was a bit bland and the chicken was pale but the onions gave it a limey taste which I think was the highlight. The beans were good, the avocado helped make the wrap creamy tasting. The lettuce was fresh and so was the tomato salsa. It would've been better if they grilled it like a panini so I would recommend asking. The wrap came with a side and I had the kale slaw. It was actually good. It tasted a lot like the cole slaw from KFC because of the sweet dressing it had. You couldn't taste the sometimes very green taste that kale gives off. The green apples also helped not only provide a crunch but also some sour and sweet contrast. With the wrap, you can add a smoothie for $5 which I did. I had the mango one and it was good. One thing I wish tropical smoothie cafe offered were smaller sizes of smoothies in case you're not in the mood for a very tall cup--seems they only have one size. Parking is good because it's in the garden city plaza but depending on the day of the week you go, you might make a few turns trying to find something. There are shops all around and some restaurants which makes for a perfect day of smoothies, food, and shopping. The employees here were nice and attentive.
