The family running the place was very friendly and helpful. We came here a few days after visiting Kaloo in Warwick. We bought the pistachio Dubai bar in Kahloo and they charged $14. Here at the Middle East Market they charged $9 for the same bar. Plus I feel like they more fluent in English at this store than Kaloo. You can find middle eastern home goods, spices, baked treats, drinks, sweets, international candies (found Flake bars from the UK), meal starter spice/seasoning mixes, frozen foods, and more. On the other side of the store they have smoke shop supplies and more bodega type stuff like snacks, refrigerated drinks, and other impulse buys. I can't really eat carbs anymore but a rose petal covered Turkish delight caught my eye. It was in the bulk candy section which they charge $11.75 per pound. The owner charged me 75¢ for my 1 piece and when I went home to weigh it it came out to almost the same price. All of the jars on the shelves were neatly arranged on the shelves.
