This is my main store. I come here regularly for protein bars, energy drinks, supplements & protein. In the past year, I've made several purchases and have not accumulated points per their rewards system. I physically make sure they pull up my account to add them. They said there was nothing I could do and gave me an 800 number. I called them and spoke to someone 3-4x and no resolution until I expressed my frustration over and over again. They said I needed to touch base with my home store, which I already did. They gave me a smidge of a resolution but even follow up-I was the one that requested a call back to make sure the issue was resolved. It just seems like management and customer service are very disconnected and it was unprofessional that I was never called back repeatedly and had to keep calling and addressing the issue on the phone and in store. I'm thinking of purchasing these products from GNC, as their rewards system is seamless and I never have any issues there. read more

I had bad service at Abilene, TX location. I was waiting behind a customer while he was being serviced but he and the cashier just kept talking and talking without getting checked out as if I wasnt there at all so, after minutes of waiting to buy some boosters behind the cashier I said maybe some other time to him he just smiled and said have a good day. Well, the string of good reviews will not steer you wrong. This place has everything you need: helpful and knowledgeable staff, great variety, and decent pricing. The staff definitely goes above and beyond. They ask you about your goals, what you normally take, what you're looking for, any ailments.... and then proceed to give you solid, informative, un-salesman-like service. I'm not a fan of 5star I go to use rhere scale ans body comp. but they push powders , supplementing and quick fixes that are not sustainable. They should be more geared towards lifestyle changes . But rhat isn't how they bray in bUsiness I get it they have to sell supplements. Just not a fan. read more

When I first started my fitness journey I stumbled upon this place while on the hunt for a protein that gave me what I wanted while keeping the calories low. I visited many places in the area and came upon this place lastly. I knew I had found something special when I was directed towards a powder within minutes. I was pleased because I was not only helped immediately but I was not directed towards the most expensive product. I recently visited here again on another mission. I was on the hunt for a specific protein powder as my needs have changed with my body and I picked it up and with a curious thought and an open mind I asked the guys behind the counter If the product I selected was good for what I want to do. Right away the answer was "No way not at all" The gentleman went into the back and brought out three Blender Bottles with some pre mixed protein of what he suggested was going to be my best bet. After trying each one I selected the one I liked most. He broke down why it was so great, and what it was gonna do for me. Again, it wasn't the most expensive one either. This kind of attention, and honesty made me VERY happy. In addition to such great service they also have literally everything else I could possibly ask for. They carry a personal obsession of mine, NUTS N MORE, which is an amazing high protein nut butter. They have Quest Bars. They've got everything and its always at a great price. Much better then places like GNC. I will return here time and time again for all of my supplement needs. read more

I used to go here years and years ago when I wasn't fat and out of shape. Now that I'm back on the gym train I bought a Groupon and redeemed it here yesterday. There were 3 guys working and they were all friendly and extremely helpful. Don't be intimidated, 2 of them are ginormous but they were cool as hell. They asked me a lot of questions and weren't trying to sell me a bunch of crap I didn't need or want. Ended up giving me a few free samples and steered me away from my normal Met-RX standby to a better quality protein for the same price. I'll def be back in. They do a huge online business as well as the store location. I haven't done a side by side comparison to other online sites as far as price goes so do your own research. read more

I went here today and bought quest bars and Nuts N More. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful! They had a huge selection of quest bars only noticed one flavor missing which was definitely not a big deal because they had so many other flavors.! The woman there also showed me the nutsnmore which I am trying for the first time iv seen it on instagram thousand times I'm sure it will be delicious. This place is a gem in the area and I literally live off the products they sell here. Everything is top of the line and cheaper than you can get on the internet. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable and they genuinely care about their customer base. Awesome shop. Very helpful staff. Not pushy or practicing a sales pitch unlike my visits at GNC. The associate I dealt with was very enthusiastic and helped me find the perfect protein and pre workout; axium. The pre workout gave me the kick in the pants needed the next day at the gym and the chocolate intek whey isolate tasted like a dessert. Great recommendations by the associate. read more

This place is a lot better than GNC. The guys working there are very helpful and knowledgable. I don't even go there for sports supplements, but for supplements for stress management. Their selection is great. You won't find a lot of this stuff at GNC or Vitamin World. read more
