Walking into Northeast Alternatives for the first time felt a bit like stepping into the unknown, I had zero frame of reference and wasn't sure what kind of vibe I'd get. Honestly, I went because a handful of my patients kept mentioning it, and a friend finally nudged me over the line. Glad I listened. First off, it's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking, which already puts it ahead of half the places I deal with in a given week. Inside, the process is straightforward, show your ID, pass through another set of doors, and you're in. No confusion, no awkwardness. What stood out right away was the staff. Everyone I've interacted with has been genuinely friendly and approachable. They don't talk at you, they talk with you. And they clearly understand that people are coming in for all kinds of reasons--medical, recreational, curious first-timers like me, and they meet you wherever you are without making it weird. I keep it simple, I'm a gummies guy. That's been my lane. But on my last visit, the guy at the counter suggested a tincture. Took his advice, tried it, and he was spot on. That kind of guidance goes a long way when you're still figuring things out. The space itself is clean, well laid out, and just... calm. No chaos, no pressure. They take their time if you have questions, and you never feel rushed out the door. Prices are solid, experience is easy, and the whole place has a relaxed, welcoming feel that makes you forget you were ever unsure about going in the first place. Safe to say, they've got a repeat customer. read more

Northeast Alternatives is one of the best around! They have good prices and good selection; however sometimes it is quite dry, but that is a common problem in this area(because prices are so low?). Line can be long too. Those are the only bad things. Great prices, good service, and great selection. My guy Dennel hooks me up with the best product when I go in, thanks man! HINT: Always a busy parking lot here and like I said the line can be long but USUALLY you can get in and out pretty quick. read more

My husband and I come here once a week. We literally plan our day around it each week to make the drive. They have some of the best prices, but lately what's been driving us absolutely crazy is the mix and match. They're all over the place. Sometimes we come in and they let us mix two different brands, sometimes not. This morning I picked the two I wanted and had them ready- I drove to the dispensary and told them what I wanted but the prices had changed. It's been less than 6 hours, why did the prices change?? It seems overly complicated. It's a cool option to have but I almost feel like yall need to specify more across the entire board what's allowed and what isn't. We get different people each time who do things differently. And I still don't understand why the price would increase $10 from 7am to 11am. Ended up spending $10 more than planned and not even getting the weed we wanted. read more

Let's start from the beginning , at first glance decent selection and honestly some fair deals. The problems start once you leave . The Valorem vapes get clogged, don't matter what sale they run on them or what deal they have going. If a product doesn't work why do you keep selling it. You trick people into thinking they are getting a good deal . They allow you to exchange in this case but you'd be getting another Valorem vape... which just clogs again. Then there's the Dab Fx vapes, always being more and more discounted for a number of reasons but quality is the reason they won't sell. So why promote them and push so hard for sales with fx?? Discoloration, this flaw that flaw so well discount them.... Cool packaging catches the eye. Crap product. read more

I have been using Northeast Alternatives Seekonk for over a year now and the place is clean and welcoming. I want to give a special shoutout to Pam, Joshua D. and Kate C. These budtenders always have a good attitude and are extremely helpful. I used to go to other dispensaries in RI but so expensive and lacking quality. I've never had a problem at NE Alternatives Seekonk and I appreciate being able to afford my medicine. I highly recommend them. Jim P. read more

Great prices. Great service. My go to place and i live in the NEK. Worth the drive. Two locations near each other.

Nancy was very helpful in determining what would be the most effective in helping with lower back pain. Since using the "Chill" cream, my back pain has improved tremendously. read more

Unfortunately, I had my first poor experience at NEA this evening. I am a regular customer who comes once a month to smell some flower from the Oz bar and usually, workers are very kind and accommodating about my requests, and regardless, I always buy an Oz. However, last night I was served by Ivan (I believe was his name, older gentleman, tats on both arms) and had a negative experience. I asked Ivan if I could smell a few different strains at a time so I could do a little process of elimination. The gentlemen was snapping the containers shut before I could even tell him if I liked it or not, and then he was putting them back on the shelf, again, not even asking me if I wanted to purchase the flower or not. Eventually when this happened multiple times, I asked him about a strain that he put back, without asking me, and he firmly said he will "only keep two strains" at the register at a time. This would have been fine with me had he ever asked me my opinion on if I wanted to purchase the flower I was smelling. It was clear to me Ivan did not have time to serve me properly, and so I ultimately chose a random strain, so that I could end the interaction. I hope going forward budtenders are explained the importance of patience and working with customers so they get to go home with a product they enjoy, as spending $143 after tax is not a small purchase for many of us. read more

Avery was a huge help with everything, great deals and promos. I won't go anywhere else!

The best! I come from Coventry because this store is amazing! The staff is great and very knowledgeable. I only shop here. Variety and good deals. The last time I went my car died on me in the parking lot. :( I asked the desk if anyone had and jumper cables and she came out and gave me a jump! Omg saved my day! I can't thank you enough! read more

Your worker KEN ( old man short bald with glasses ) made me goto another budtender to look at the tablet menu after asking him. He said "Other people may turn thier tablets for you to look at the menu but I dont , I cant be bothered ". I have been buying products form this place since they opened in Fall River. Never have I ever had to goto another table to look at the tablet because "i cant be bothered to flip it". Customer service used to be good here. read more

Last few times, and I go there seldom just LOUSY attitude and customer service. TOXIC attitude. Dont need to write a book about, its good to have lower priced options in the area. First of all you need binoculars to read the price board. The last few CASHIERS Ive had talked to me like Im a mongoloid moron, even to the point of being confrontational which is why my $$ will go to South Attleboro. The last one looked like Sal from Jokers this Monday he was working the middle of the store and he needs some counseling. Simply asked what the lowest prices for shake or bud over 20% since I couldnt see the board. Thats a very sneakrative practice btw with the TV pricing boards in tiny print at a place for people with medicinal needs maybe they dont have eagle-eye vision? This place is too full of itself and the cheaper weed tastes like reject stock. Bah. read more

Their promos do not align with pricing. I went In today to purchase an ounce of Runtz and they were ran out/ said the only 99$ ounce is apple fritter. They literally had 8 strains promoted for 99$ per ounce. BS. read more

Awful customer service. DO NOT RECOMMEND spending your money on over priced low quality bud. I highly recommend skipping this place and heading over to cosmopolitan in Fall River. They have better high quality bud, better prices and better staff. read more

This was by every measure the worst experience I have ever had in any retail establishment, let alone a dispensary. I've never raised my voice to any retail salesperson, until today, at 63 years old. The flower has been poor for the last 6 months. I've left empty handed at least twice as a result. This was the third time I walked out. There was no acknowledgement when I stated i have a hearing impairment. I will never return, or refer them ever again. The sales women doesn't belong there if she can't answer questions. Dispensary management is poor and ignorant, and that's being courtious! read more

girl named Megan had a nasty attitude today, after she mistaken a question I asked, then got mad at me. customer service poor

By far the best dispensary I have been to in the past year. Great deals great quality great atmosphere the edibles list is amazing saw a strawberry crunch edible bar yum yet to try that one but very enthused. Never too busy so it's in and out and the check-in is super easy with like zero pressure. Go to this one specifically I'm not sure about the Fall River location. The 8th are always on sale and a bunch of other great sale quarters for 40 after tax!! Great quality!! Great Location close to Providence!! read more
