pharmacies move aside and make way for farmacy herbs! i first discovered this business two years ago at a prov farmers market, and then learned there's a store by one of my favorite cemeteries. i love how eco friendly this place is. you could bring your own containers and weigh in your leaves, powders, roots, etc. i highly recommend the pre blended bags like detox blend and women's blend if you're just getting started. i have been so many times that i got the hang of making my own concoctions. the quality of these herbs and leaves is outstanding. anyone who visits any home is blown away by the flavors of my tea. they might not even be tea drinkers but enjoy my tea. i love how the inside looks like what you might imagine a tea farm to look like. i get so caught up that i always forget to picture the inside. my experience with service has been generally helpful. i feel like i've met some really passionate people who work here and know so much about the tea, but on a couple occasions i have gotten passive unwelcoming persons. the positive experience far outweigh the negative. just did a restock this week and found white willow bark which i am so excited to try!

Was excited to visit this shop and check out their winter warm up tea as well as their 1st aid kit. The shop is across from a cemetery, easy to find. The shop is filled with tinctures and jarred herbs. They take their time when dealing with customers so you don't feel rushed and the staff is very knowledgeable. I felt healthier just walking around in the shop. There's an amazing amount of jarred herbs so you can make up your own herbal concoctions. There are teas bagged and ready. I picked up the Winter Warm Up and it's nice & cinnamony. Definately will warm you up. Great experience, knowledgeable staff, cozy shop, tons of product.

Phenomenal! I'm upset that I haven't been going here for years! Ok, I started using medical herbs about five years ago. I had been on the pill to alleviate my severe cramping during my period, but the side affects were causing other problems in my life. I checked a crunchy hippy healing book out of the library and the rest is history! Raspberry leaf has eliminated my problems. I then started exploring other teas to keep my health in check: echinacea to keep colds away, ginger root to ease stomach upset. Up until now I had been buying Traditional Medicinals teas from Whole Foods and those boxes run around $5. A 2 ounce bag of raspberry leaf here coasts $4. Now the written word does not do the cost difference justice, but I assure you buying from here is a WAY better deal. The women were very friendly and willing to offer suggestions for various symptoms. Plus the stuff is grown on a local farm and they have super cute screen printed bags, chap sticks, tea sets, body salves and posters.

"Olive" you so much, Olive del Mondo!…read more I love coming here to restock my olive oils, discover fun vinaigrettes and shop for the cooks in my life. The shop attendant shares plenty of knowledge on all the products and the cooking you can do with them, while encouraging you to try anything that catches your eye and interest. No suggestion has ever left me disappointed. To be frank, there's truly no other place for high-quality oils and vinaigrettes that elevate your cooking. My favorite part of each visit is trying the infused oils with bread samples, sometimes to the point where I'm convinced I'll walk out with one of the giant dispensers and a whole loaf. I usually leave with the rosemary-infused and toasted sesame oils. They come in different sizes and are dispensed right there in 60, 200, 375 or 750 ml bottles. Aside from being incredibly knowledgeable, the shop attendant is very welcoming, patient and happy to answer any questions. I really appreciate how the bottles are always handled and packed with care, often gift-ready with plenty of tissue paper for padding. Parking can be tricky at times but it's absolutely worth the visit for your cooking essentials and pantry-inspired gifts. On top of excellent customer service, there's a reason Olive del Mondo is an 11/10 in my book.

I was very interested in trying them and I saw they were available at Whole Foods Market. Excitingly I went over to Whole Foods Market and JonnyPops was on sale! The sandwich had turkey, cheese, bacon ( I picked off), greens, and a delicious aioli sauce. I suggested that my husband and I go in and try it a couple months later. It is located in the same plaza as Avenue N in Rumford. The storefront is made up of a glass "garage door" so it is pretty cool and unique inside. Service was prompt and friendly. Hubby tried the Cuban, he loved it, and I, creature of habit, stuck to my turkey panini. Once we ordered, the sandwiches came up faster than I expected. I had to use the bathroom and had to go next door to Avenue N. The owner or manager held the door for me, and was very friendly. Everyone that we have met there is friendly. If you want a good sandwich you won't be disappointed!

Just a sandwich in regular size bread pressed as a panini, and it was $12!!! I had no idea until I had to sign for it! The special board didn't have a price and all the other sandwiches were around $8 so I thought it would be the same. Even worse, one bite in and I was disgusted. The chicken was not cooked well and had that rubbery texture where you have to really pull with your teeth to break it. I threw it away after 2 bites and I'm gagging thinking of it. This could be a one off, but I'm really bummed about wasting $12 on my one spend day of the week! I have some other little gripes that honestly bring down my old rating too. We bought some stuff from the shop, which is still really cute and offers a lot of local (though very upcharged) stuff. And when we checked out, there's a line for tip! Everyone feels weird leaving a tip line blank, so why is it there! Just to make us feel awkward?!? All they offer to drink is hot coffee or cold brew, everything else is a deli or store or serve yourself food so why even tipping! Just made me and my friend awkward leaving that line blank, made us feel rude but why would we tip for only buying grocery items.

I appreciated the stars on the ceiling. The staff were friendly and gave us as much time as we needed with the menu before we ordered at the counter. I had the chicken empanadas and the shrimp poboy. The food came out quickly and was piping hot and fresh. The empanadas were excellent. Great flavor and tasted high quality. I found them to be a little oily but that wasn't anything a napkin couldn't fix. The shrimp was cooked well and I liked the sauce it came with.
