WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! I would 100% recommend New Dawn for your construction and remodeling needs. I am in the South Bay and even though they are in Burbank they were down here without fail. I think it's intimidating for anyone to do construction and I have heard horror stories from friends who have projects started and then the contractor disappears for a couple of weeks because of other projects and then there are delays and extra things that happen to pop up. Also, the upsell for things that are probably not necessary for everyone. When I was deciding between contractors, Jacob was never pushy but he was considerate in his communication which ultimately made me most comfortable with him. I live in a townhouse and had a small bathroom remodel (due to a slab leak next door so my bathroom was already mostly gutted) and came across New Dawn who had excellent reviews on ALL platforms I visited with very specific reviews that I identified with as a client. Jacob was in charge of my project and from the get go he was honest and open about costs and expectations. Jacob offered to design creatively but I already had my bathroom mapped out the way I wanted. I ordered the majority of the fixtures, tiles, accessories. He assisted with the custom glass door for my shower. He was wonderful in his communication. I never felt that I was left hanging. I did not have any major delays even with inspections happening. I had no idea what I was doing when I hired New Dawn. I did three quotes and felt the most comfortable with them. My insurance company tried to lowball me and give me $5000 for a $40,000 job! NEW Dawn started the work on my house without even having the money from the insurance company they worked as a team to get that money from the insurance. It did take a long time about eight months to complete start to finish but I now have a beautiful kitchen. Had New Dawn not come around, I would've been stuck with $5000 from my insurance company. They came to my house to check an issue I had on the bathroom Water used to penetrate from the shower pan to the other room it messed up all the flooring on the guest room it got all the way to the base molding on the other side I got 3 eStimates and prices were unbelievably high . Showed us credentials of his company and even let us speak with some customers. From there they all said such good things about him it was a no-brainer. We started the project and he immediately found out we had slab leak, leaks from the Apartments above and mold. He handled some of it And help me with the insurance and the HOA. Thanks to him they have decided to cover the mold cost as well as the slab leak damage. Once those things were fixed they continued the work. Emilio's crew was wonderful.
