After visiting Crooked Creek Distillery, we checked our Laurel Highlands Pour Tour app and realized New Crescent Brewing was within walking distance from where we parked. New Crescent has many beer choices and also had one local cider and mead choice on their menu. All beers were good, but my favorite was the Laurel Highlander Scotch Ale. Not many breweries have these on their menus, so I was happy it was an option. We also tried small pours of the Lunar Weizen, Betelgeuse IPA, Raspberry Mead, and Yed Prior Red Ale. New Crescent has a really nice, relaxing space to sit and enjoy a few beers. They have many to go options, and all their beer is reasonably priced. I liked that they offered a bomber bottle ($7 for the Scotch Ale) so you don't have to commit to a huge amount of beer like a growler to take home. As a person who enjoys taking pictures, I was slightly saddened by the plastic cups for the small pours instead of the way cool moon-shaped flight boards that I've seen in other people's Yelp photos. I realize this is probably due to Covid restrictions and hope the flight boards are back the next time I'm in the area.

My friend and I stopped here during an afternoon out. The brewery has a nice atmosphere and multiple places to sit for the small size. The chalkboard of on tap beers listed about 15 different types. My friend ordered a flight of beers, which she was able to choose 4 different beers. I overheard another worker tell a visitor that they typically serve 4 beers in their flight, but could pick more if they wanted. I ordered the Contact Light, which is an American Blonde Ale. For the flight and a glass of beer, it was about $13, which we thought was good pricing. We would have enjoyed the beer more if it was a bit colder. All of the beers tasted room temperature to us. They do have the option right now to order beer to go, which seems convenient! New Crescent seems like a good addition to downtown Irwin in their strip of cafes, restaurants, and other store fronts.

The #5 Hefeweizen is the best along with the service. Numerous restaurants near brewery with take out. Lots of parking around.

You order at the window or at the bar, but we've never had trouble ordering. The inside gives brewery warehouse vibes, but with a lil charm. We go with the garlic butter oven baked wings- honestly, a classic. Idk what voodoo they do to those wings but my gaaaaaad they are stunning. Buttery, garlicky, loaded with parm, tender juicy, big ole wings. There's a reason I can't get them off my mind. Then we go to the hot honey sausage flat bread. Another absolute masterpiece that I cannot get out of my head when we leave. It's not even super spicy- it's the perfect balance of sweet, savory, with a light touch of something deeper, hotter. We went rouge this visit and got a Hawaiian Hottie dog- which was good but I will say I wasn't as impressed as I am with the wings and flat breads. The hot dog felt plain, like it needed a little more oomph - and the pineapple being cold kinda throw us off. I do like that no matter what dog you choose, a single dog is a standard $6 across the board. We redeemed ourselves with the pizza rolls, a classic choice that didn't disappoint. If you're going to get anything though, I highly suggest the wings and flatbreads. You cannot go wrong. Oh and accidentally plan your visit on trivia night so you can win (3rd this time!) a gc to bring you right back. #GOUDapproved Hot Honey Sausage | $19.00 Fresh Mozzarella, Caramelized Onions, Sausage, Banana Peppers, Ricotta, Shaved Parmesan, Fresh Basil, Hot Honey Drizzle Garlic Butter Oven Baked Wings | $16.00 (8) per order. When you enter the building, you have to go straight back to get to Quinn, and when you enter Quinn, you need to walk in and go to the right to get to the actual bar area. When I first walked in, I wondered if I was in the right place, and a patron said "bar is around the corner" The room when you first walk in is large, has a variety of seating options and plenty of fun things to try like board games and pool. The bar area itself has the bar with stools. Since I was on my own, I opted to stay in that area. You could tell it was a place that there are many regulars. As various people came in to order, I heard things like "Do you want your usual" and some of the patrons seemed to be close with the bartender. The patrons and the bartender were equally as friendly with everyone who came in, though. I asked a bunch of questions about the history of the brewery, most popular beers, how often they add new beers and got advice on what to try. I sampled three different ones and liked all of them and settled on the Braddock's Blonde. It was a fun place and I would definitely come back, either as a date night or with some friends and take advantage of the fun things their space has to offer.

We don't make it here often but always enjoy it when we do. The actual bar area is small and the taplist a bit limited (but good variety.) my favorite is the Belgian Tripel which unfortunately wasn't on this visit. However, the brown ale they had on was very good. They usually have pretty good music playing and there is darts and pool and different games. Staff is always friendly. Prices are reasonable. Overall it's a fun, chill place to just hang out and enjoy some beers.

During our visit along the Laurel Highlands Pour Tour, we were greeted by an atmosphere that was simply extraordinary. As dusk settled outside, we stepped into a cozy space adorned with a small bar area. The menu, displayed both on a board and on paper, showcased their impressive selection of drafts. Opting for a flight, I found myself particularly drawn to their stout--an unexpected but delightful turn of events as I've recently developed a fondness for them. Adding to the ambiance, a small musical act entertained patrons in another area, while the presence of food trucks hinted at the culinary delights on offer. The beer itself was exceptional, complemented by impeccable service. Eager to take home a memento of our visit, I inquired about purchasing a t-shirt. The staff kindly provided access to the upstairs store room where I secured the last 3XL shirt available, along with some stickers for both the pour tour and my laptop. Overall, it was a fantastic stop characterized by friendly service, outstanding beer, and an atmosphere that left a lasting impression. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Every style I tried in the flight was good...they obviously put the effort into getting their stuff right. They live up to being called a "craft" brewery. The atmosphere is fantastic. Very nice pavilion to keep out of the weather. They also have some open air tables in a little garden and included a good size fire pit to boot. I think it was about 25 minutes or so from Deep Creek Maryland. The brewery is located in the owners/main brewers garage. Right next to his house, among a bunch of other houses. If they wouldn't have had a sign we would never had known. Once inside we were greeted and warmly welcomed. I actually thought the man and women (who did indeed turn out to be husband and wife) were the owners. They seemed to take such pride in everything and were so hospitable to everyone that came in, almost like you would expect if going to a loving and doting relative. She popped popcorn for patrons and was handing out bowls. She was full of stories and seemed to really just like working there. Her and her husband filled us in on the brewery and its history. The beers now were surprisingly decent. I got the glimmer of hop comet. They had a winter warmer on tap with like the best name Fra-Gee-Lay, Must be Italian. I can't imagine ever finding myself in this neck of the woods again but I sure would order that beer again if I ever saw it on tap. For the locals this place should definitely be in your rotation.
