There is a front window area with tables, a long space set up with tables and then a back section with the bar. The had a small food menu (but it had a nice variety of options) and also had a Valentine's Day special three course option. I started with the crab rangoon nachos. The initially forgot to put the crab on them, but it was quickly remedied. The combination of flavors was perfect. I had a burger and it was good as well. My husband chose the Valentine's special which came with a salad, pasta dish and chocolate cake. I like that they have both beer and seltzer that they make. I sampled a few beers but ultimately ordered a pear seltzer. My husband had the Oktoberfest. Service was friendly and efficient. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.

Nice place to stop in for a quick drink before heading home. Wooden tables, pool table, burlap sacks from hops or malt adorn the ceiling and walls of the taproom giving it a rustic vibe. Bartenders were very friendly and offered us beer samples for anything we wanted to try. We both went for the YB Lager. It was a really good choice. Loved the vibe here, will definitely return.

A restaurant dedicated to tapas with flavor bombs and hidden gems all throughout the menu!!…read more From the street The Headkeeper looks like an absolute dive. Busy intersection, no windows, and a front door that doesn't work... but don't let that fool you. Entering through the patio entrance, the outdoor seating is an oasis somehow perfectly separated from the busyness just beyond the sidewalk. We opted to sit inside on a humid day.. simple but fitting! The menu is only tapas, but the small plates don't contain small flavors!! We love to split tapas with friends, so we ordered a table load and went all in. We selected: - Street Corn Dip - no notes. Gooey, well seasoned, and plenty of fresh corn! Abundance of chips, more than enough! - Bruschetta Flatbread - every available inch covered in fresh tomato, lacking in the balsamic glaze, but still a fresh, refreshing bite. Honestly, this is a huge tapas, 8 pieces and easily a meal on its own - Headkeeper Toothpicks - THESE ARE THE SHOWSTOPPER!! Clever concept, perfectly executed! Crispy tortilla wraps loaded with chicken, peppers, onions, and gouda. And DOUBLE dips!! - Banh Mi Eggrolls - large tapa with a big eggroll for all four of us. Crammed full of toppings and well seasoned - Balsamic Marinated Grilled Vegetables - great variety, one of each veggie, but a little too much oily sauce (Pro Tip - we cut these up and put them on top of the bruschetta - perfectly paired!!) - Cauliflower - large portion, almost half of a head of cauliflower, dripping with truffle oil, but soooo tender to eat - Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes - only 2, but packed with crab and delicious sweet-chili & coconut-lime sauce! - Lo Mein Bowl - another tapa that could be a full meal, tender beef, but the seasoning was just off for us And of course... DESSERT! Thankful to go on a double date where one from each couple wants to split desserts too. Why not try the best part of the menu too? Vanilla Crème Brulee - a perfect sweet blend of vanilla and custard with a scrumptious layer of brûlée Strawberry Scooter Crunch Cheesecake - decadent swirls of strawberry through the cheesecake and a crisp layer of scooter crunch all over Tell you what! The sauces and pairings show how ingenious this culinary team is... and looking at reviews, the menu rotates and I'll have to try some of the fun items that I've seen from other seasons!

This is such a shame that such a beautiful space has such lackluster food and poor service. A…read moreSaturday lunch before Christmas has been a family tradition for the ladies for well over 10 years. Each year we choose an upscale restaurant to enjoy each others company, a good meal and a stiff drink. Unfortunately this years selection fell short of our expectations. The atmosphere is a 5 star, the service and food drag that down a lot! To start, I ordered a Cabernet Sauvignon and the waitress brought me a Sauvignon Blanc. Ok, she said she was new, so it was an honest mistake. But it went downhill from there. Others ordered a Christmas specialty drink, an Old Fashioned and were happy with it, although at $14.50 it was one of the least expensive on the menu. Most ordered brunch items, Eggs Benedict or Avacado Toast. I opted for the Crab Cake Sandwich with Remoulade sauce. Except that when it came, the sandwich was bare save for a tomato slice and shredded iceberg lettuce. Trying to get the waitress's attention took a while since she was taking an order at another table. So by the time I got the sauce, my crab cake was pretty cold. When she brought it she proudly said that it was freshly made and that's why it wasn't on my plate to start with. Hmmm.... It was not that great a crab cake, lots of filler in it. The others ordered potatoes O'Brien as the side dish to accompany their meals. They all thought they tasted like frozen potatoes out of a bag. So in general, the food was meh. Applebees quality at an upscale price. Our server may have been new, but she lacked the training that would have made the difference. Never filled our water glasses, never asked if we wanted a second cocktail, and never cleared away our dirty plates until she appeared with the check. We asked for separate checks at that time so she had to come back and ask us each what we had in order to do that. Once we looked at our checks we noticed a 4% service fee added on without any explanation. Even if you paid cash! Plus, they suggest the tip with that service fee added into your food and beverage total! So beware if you do eat here, and look closely at your bill. We noticed people waiting by the door to be seated while the hostess talked to kitchen staff. Our waitress disappeared for a while until another customer asked the hostess to find her. So staff training here is an issue. We had heard that this place wasn't great, but wanted to see for ourselves. Now we know and we won't be back. There's a lot of other really good restaurants in Greensburg with better food and service. So much for atmosphere!

Our waitress was super great and gave us some ideas on what to order since it was our first visit. Ended up getting the Good Burger and a side of their spaghetti with marinara. The burger fixins were similar to the Golden Arch namesake double burger but soooooo much more meat. It was so ridiculously huge with two patties of burger stacked an inch plus thick that I took one burger off to eat later. The burger with pickles and sauce were just right and plenty of diced tomatoes and lettuce offered some respite from the meat extravaganza. It was a good burger for sure. The marinara on the spaghetti is a little watery but absolutely delicious. I really liked the flavors. This is a nice local place with tons of PA beers on tap. We'll be back at dinner sometime to try those.
