Great beer, friendly service, and laid back atmosphere. Plenty of space for groups and the kitchen is now open!! Beyond their excellent locally made beers, they offer local spirits to make your favorite cocktails.

If you're looking for a neighborhood bar that has good food and good beer. This place is it! Beer is good. Tots are perfect! Food comes out hot, beer is cold and the staff is great! It's a fun brewery with a neighborhood feel!

Friendly neighborhood bar. Each time we stop in there's new varieties to try, either brewed by Allusion or other PA brewers. Thought it was pretty cool they source their liquors from PA makers as well. Try a flight of beer, grab a can, have a cocktail, they have a bit of everything!

New brewery that opened up in April! Their menu has a nice variety of beers: stouts, IPAs, sours, and lagers. I was super excited to see a cherry pie sour on the menu. It was really delicious and unique! A great balance of sweet and tart, without being overwhelming. The atmosphere is casual and family friendly with board games on a shelf in the back to sit and enjoy time together. They even have sofa booths for maximum comfort if you're staying awhile, or typical table and chairs if you prefer. They also have a small food menu with hot dogs, pizza, sandwiches and some appetizers. I ordered the turkey panini and it was good. It had some jam, granny smith apples, and gouda cheese on top to give it extra flavor. The turkey was a bit thin and could have had more seasoning in my opinion, along with a bigger sandwich to be more filling. But for $10 and coming with a bag of jalapeño chips, I can understand the portion size. It was a nice experience here and a fun place to check out!

I stopped by here a couple of Thursdays ago with a few former coworkers. We love visiting local breweries together and so it was nice to see that Allusion opened up in our neck of the woods. I arrived to the brewery at around 8:30 to see that trivia was being played. This brewery is located in Duncan manor and has both a large bar and plenty of table seating. On the day that I was there they had someone selling hot dogs out of the corner and I was surprised by how many people at the bar had mug club mugs that they were drinking out of. As I often do whenever I visit a new brewery, I went with a sampler from here. At allusion it consists of 4 different 5 oz pours and costs $15. For my beers I went with the Stay on Target (English IPA), Smash Azacca IPA, Endless Dark Imperial Stout and Down on Duvel (Key Lime Pie Tart). I first started out with the Stay on Target which was nice and smooth at the start with some bitterness on the backend. Up second was the Smash azacca IPA which was bitter from start to finish with a lingering aftertaste of it too. Third was the Down on Duvall which surprisingly really did taste like a key lime pie. It was Sour with lime at first and then finished with the cinnamon butteriness of a pie crust. Last but certainly not least with the 11.5% ABv Endless dark. It started out with the bourbon barrel and then was followed by some bitterness at the finish. Out of the bunch I liked the down on Duvall the best with the endless dark being my second favorite. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. I thought that Allusion had some interesting and good beers and so I would be interested in trying more of what they have to offer.

This was our first visit to the second location. We sampled several different beers that they had on tap. Beer flavored beer which is a light beer, equivalent to what we call beer light (Bud,Coors or IC Light), One inning More traditional Pale Ale, Queen of Connacht Red Ale, Silvers Treasure NE IPA, and a stout that was 11.5% ABV which liked all especially the NE IPA and Red Ale, think Red Ale was our favorite. They have a rotating ciders on tap from Arsenal Cider House. They had a food truck called Big Burrito here. It was busy for just opening up. They have a large seating area. Typical table and chairs and nice relaxing couches. Great first experience at this location. Cheers!

Cool spot with ample space. BYO food to pair with your beers and hang out. We brought our kids and there were tons of board games to keep them occupied. Will def be back!

Nice little place tucked away behind the dmv. Japanese fast food next door. They allow door dash delivery and pets/dogs allowed in outdoor sitting area. Good selection of their own beer on tap along with cocktails from local distilleries. Service was excellent.

Took 30 minutes for a bay breeze that wasn't even made right. Totally disorganized. Service was abysmal.

We had the quesadilla which was filled with tasty seasoned shredded beef. Also had the pretzel which came with mustard but surprisingly not beer cheese! The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. Their menu at this location is a bit limited, especially if you want something on draft. Their stout beers and IPAs are all on tap but lagers are only available in can and only 4 options. I ordered the Lil Cinder out of the can, which was a wonderfully cheap $3. It's one of my favorites at their other location and was happy it had a consistent smooth and refreshing taste out of the can too. I would have liked some more beer options, like sour or wheat beers, but understand it's only the taproom.

The inside of this brewery has a relaxed, open vibe with plenty of natural wood tables, metal chairs, a visible brewing area in the back, and colorful string lights hanging across the ceiling. There's a chalkboard mural on the wall and a Pride flag (since it was Pride month) adding to the welcoming atmosphere. There's also a well-stocked kids corner with books, puzzles, games, and art supplies, which is a great touch for families like ours. Outside of the beer, it looks like they often host different food vendors inside the kitchen space. As I often do when visiting a new brewery, I decided to go with a flight. It consisted of five beers: Joe Brown (coffee brown ale), Hear No Evil (honey ginger wheat), Honeycomb (oat honey ale), ChatBRU (west coast IPA), and Apple Pie Sour (sour ale). First up was the Joe Brown and it started with a solid coffee flavor and finished with rich toasted malts. Up second was the Hear No Evil which was A bold honey ginger wheat with ginger dominating from start to finish, leaving a lingering spice on the palate. Thurs was the Honeycomb which has Sweetness from the honey hit up front, followed by a more mellow oat finish. Fourth was the ChatBRU which was Smooth at first before diving into hoppy bitterness that lingered long after the sip. Last and certainly not least was the Apple Pie Sour. My first sip was mostly the cinnamon and sugar rim, which added a nice touch with a little salt on the finish. The second sip, without the rim, delivered a strong apple flavor that lingered nicely. I could absolutely see how they named it, as it genuinely tasted like apple pie. Out of the bunch, I ended up liking the Apple Pie Sour the most, closely followed by the Joe Brown. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I enjoyed my beers, and my wife and I found it to be a super chill place. We loved that we could possibly bring our kids thanks to the thoughtful kids corner.
