107. Pork Fried Rice

Made a to-go order when we arrived, food was quick, hot, & staff was friendly and kind. I am only leaving 3 stars because there were about 5 separate bites where I crunched on some egg shells. I was understanding at the first bite but now I am just grossed out by the amount of shells that went unnoticed into the food!

Incredible quick service, warm clean environment, kind friendly team. Our food was so hot and fresh. Dishes made with fresh veggies. Sesame chicken was nice and crispy! Yum! Again please.

I'm not usually on this far west side of Redding, but I was visiting a friend that lives off the 299 out here and wanted to bring over some Chinese food for dinner. I found this place in a shopping center tucked away in a corner spot. I saw menu already and ordered the War Won Ton soup and the Singapore noodles to go. The wait wasn't long and all packed to go just fine. No cooking tonight, cause it's hotter than you know what out here. Heading for cooler weather tomorrow! Got to my friends house and we decided to be civilized and re - plate the noodles and put the soup in a proper bowl. No eating outta to go containers like some worker working late at the office or something. The food was very good, the soup had tons of goodies in it as well as lots of won ton dumplings. The noodles were flavored good and tasted as they're supposed to. I'd come back here again if I needed Chinese food in this part of Redding.

Mongolian Beef, mandarin prawns, fried calamari, bbq pork chow mein.

Whoever wrote that this is the best chow mein ever has no taste bud. Literally tastes plain and very oily. The Mongolian beef is one of the worst I ever had. No favor and you can taste the cornstarch. The mandarin prawns are not good. The only thing I like from here was the crab cheese wonton. This place is literally one of the worst tasting Chinese food I ever had. Will not be returning. Staff was nice but the food is not good.

Food, service and ambiance, all excellent! Modern decor and full bar. Friendly young server team…read more We were on a one night stopover on what happened to be my birthday. Eating out is pricy these days but decided to splurge and soooo happy we did. The restaurant is in an area with lots of one way streets but worth the challenge of getting there. They were out of the curry so I settled on the miso ramen, complete with egg. Did not disappoint. Husband had beef pho and he also was happy. We shared garlic edamame, excellent! And a Caesar salad, (Slightly disappointing except croutons were house made and still warm, great texture!) We topped the meal with the best tiramisu I've ever eaten. Can't wait to come back on our next trip through Redding, CA.

The scallops were especially good, cooked just right where they were done but not overly done. Drinks were tasty, not too strong but definitely had some kick to them. We were only traveling through but we'd come back again if we were in the area.

We all use Yelp to help us find the treasures we would otherwise miss. Dill's is one of them…read more Dill's is located away from the core of Redding, more in the trades district than the Hilltop corridor. And that seems to be their 'secret sauce' - they make terrific food for folks who need and really appreciate it. Their magic happens with the meat they prepare. They don't just cook, they BBQ and smoke what they serve. But it doesn't stop there. On a Sunday afternoon we tried both pork and beef sandwiches- OMG. And it's not just the meat, but those rolls! Wow. The bonus is the ice cream shop immediately adjacent Dill's - 32 Below - which, among other things, hand-dips their waffle cones in chocolate. Don't miss your reward for finding such a killer sandwich shop!

I really hate to post this review, but I could not wait to come to Dills Deli to get the barbecue,…read morewhich is one of my favorite travel meals, which their bbq is not ready untill after 4 o'clock here. I ordered the two meat combo, chicken and tri-tip with two salads. I got to my hotel room and I have never had a tougher piece of tri-tip in my life, literally it was like cutting through the meat and it felt like I was cutting through tendons and the chicken was very dry. The only thing I really enjoyed about the meal was the salad. This could've been a bad piece of chicken and meat at the same time. I have no idea, but I am so very disappointed, I'm not even going to eat the rest of it, it's that tough and dry. Your choice if you want to go here, totally up to you. It's got a lot of great reviews, but with my review, it's just very disheartening. Just a waste of money tonight. And yes, by the pictures you can see that I did taste everything from the chicken to the meat to the roll and that is all I will eat tonight.

When we first sat down the blonde hostess (I couldn't see her name tag) set the menus down and I picked one up. She gave me the stink eye and pulled the menu out of my hands and slid it to someone else, giving me a child's menu instead, which I'm too old for. We had to ask her for another adult menu. The food was actually great, we split the og chicken. The Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes were amazing. 10/10. The flavor of the chicken was good but it was a little dry but not too bad. I don't know what the deal with this hostess was, I felt like she kept giving me the stink eye during my meal, and I don't know why she wasn't more polite about the menu thing. Ripping a menu out of someone's hands seems pretty rude.

More than I expected…read more I wasn't expecting a meal worth remembering. Rather, I was hoping for something that would satisfy my family for a late night meal after a long day of driving down I-5. What we got was a pleasant location, generous wine pours, and a delightful range of dining offerings. Add to the diverse menu, a great outdoor patio with space for dogs, tree coverage to stay cool, and lovely table spacing to keep you from feeling like you're eating with 100 of your closet friends. Oh, and by the way - they've got a doggie menu! So cool.
