This Chinese Restaurant serves excellent American Chinese Food. It's not too greasy, but very tasty and great flavor. Pretty much on par with other local takeout places. I appreciated the white breast meat in the Cashew Chicken. Lunch special was $6 with lo mein (upgrade from rice). Decent value, a bit bland though. I'll try them again simply because it's convenient for me. I posted a photo. read more

My husband and I used to eat here every week, sometimes multiple times a week, but something had changed in the past 6 months or so, the meat (either chicken or beef) in everything I've ordered has been chewy and kinda slimy like it's undercooked. I hate this because I use to love this place so much. The staff is amazing, esp the black lady that works the front counter. If I could give a zero I would. Horrible food! We had take out and I could not literally eat it! I threw it away and had to go get me something else for dinner. Very disappointed. The pork dumplings smelled like raw dough and were thick and tasted really bad. I had Beef and broccoli and my husband had pork lo-mein. I could not eat it the beef was too tough and chewy. The broccoli was alright but that was a side dish. I will never be back there. read more

We just moved to Athens and this was our first visit to New China. It was very clean inside, but we were in a hurry and took it to go. We had the Mongolian Beef. I'm a regular here. I love the food and they are always friendly. My husband gets the sweet n sour chicken and loves it. My daughter and I get the sesame chicken and love it. This is a walk up to the counter and order kind of place that isn't necessarily bad, but this one is. The food was piping hot, but the sweet and sour chicken tasted as if it had been fried a second time, and the broccoli and beef was just bad. The beef wasn't the texture of meat--either gristly or fatty--and the broccoli and carrots were way over cooked. The egg rolls were nice and crunchy but the inside was tasteless. I've eaten much better mall Chinese. I won't go back. read more
