This is our local go to for great Asian takeout. It's not very fancy on the inside, but appears to be clean and kept up, to be honest I've never eaten sit down here I always get it to go. We order online and our order has always been ready when they say it will be, usually from 10 - 15 minutes after you place your order. The food is always fresh and hot, they do these amazing sauced vegetables that are piping hot, yet crispy, how they manage this? I don't know! I haven't tried many things but what I have tried was good. I have always just stopped in for takeout. I have seen pictures of a buffet, but I don't know if they do that anymore. We love this place. Portions are good, food is fresh, and we've never gotten sick. The steamed dumplings are soft, my kids love the sweet and sour chicken. It's especially helpful they put the sauce on the side for to-go orders so the food stays crispy until you get home with it. My husband loves the coconut shrimp. read more

They have a whole vegan menu which was fantastic. I got house style tofu, date got the Mongolian tofu. Both were tasty.

Only have one experience. Nothing outstanding and nothing really bad. Food was above average except the egg roll was subpar.

I ordered the fried rice for myself and mother and this was my first visit since they've been open. Wow. If you lived in the area since the mid 90's you are sure to remember Peking restaurant next to the now Popeyes building. It rivals theirs in quality. Good stuff always tasty and hot. They are a family run business and I love that. I watched the whole family make dumplings together and it was awesome and the dumplings were delicious. I get chicken usually but my friends food looked just as good. They have great takeout containers so you get a lot and you get it home safely and easy. 3 stars because I had really high hopes when I first ate at this place because the yelp reviews were awesome. My food was cold, and kind of bland. I got the chicken with bean sauce and the Szechuan beef noodle bowl. I would give my food a 2, but the staff are all very nice. They gave me plenty of chances to complain about my food, and I did not. I'm hoping I just went on a bad night. I will give it one more chance and try the lunch buffet read more

Wonderful food. Vegans I got the peanut chicken with fried tofu instead of chicken. I also got the grilled cauliflower and a side of bok Choy. Delicious. The tofu was perfect--crispy on the outside soft on the center. My sister got the buffet and loved the coconut shrimp. She went back for seconds. The name thing is a bit confusing. I am only giving this restaurant one star because I was required to do at least one to write my review. Let's just say I will never go back. The food was not fresh. My chicken tasted as if it had been sitting out on a buffet all day, the chips for my soup were stale, and there was a hair greased onto one of my containers on the inside. Maybe they were just busy and unable to give their best service, but I am not interested in going back to find out. I did call to complain because I was so unsatisfied with my food. The management insisted that I get my food that I had already thrown away out of my trash and bring it back to the restaurant if I wanted a refund. Then began to add that he is very busy and has been sweating all day making HIS food. With all of this being said, I was not only displeased with the food but the service/management. read more

They do serve the usual sysco takeout fare, along with a small buffet bar, prepared hot and fresh as you'd expect, but this is all a smokescreen: the real draw is the authentic Chinese menu items. We were a little confused looking for the place, which we decided upon due to Yelp reviews. The sign outside hadn't been changed from its previous one--Peacock something, I believe. I asked the server if I could have something off-the-menu, cooked according to the chef's desire. She called him to the table, and he asked what I had in mind. I told him I liked a spicy chicken stir-fry with lots of vegetables, and he said, "Cooked as I like it?" And I said yes. Meanwhile, the wife ordered orange chicken from the menu. My order couldn't have been more delicious. There were lots of vegetables and tender chicken breast in a light and spicy sauce. The chicken breast had been properly tenderized using the infusion method that is a hallmark of a seasoned Asian chef, and I believe it may have been one of the best dishes I've eaten in hundreds of oriental restaurants. The wife and I shared our dishes, and the orange chicken was wonderful, too. There were few patrons in the restaurant, which worried me that the word may not be getting out about how good this place is. I hope this helps. read more

I've just recently discovered Mr.Hui's Peacock Express and boy was I missing out. Hands down one of the best Chinese spots in town if not The Best. Food was your average run of the mill Chinese food. Nothing was very special about it. Save for the peanut butter chicken which is a old favorite of mine and hard to findo some of the chicken was slightly rubbery and chewy. Prices also kinda steep for the portion size. Might try buffet next time but take out is a hard pass for me. read more

Very good traditional Chinese food. The chef takes pride in his work. They make their dumplings in house and they are very good. I also had the Salted Crispy Squid, very good. The decor is okay, not real exciting, but the food is very, very good. I plan to make this a regular stop. read more

I have eaten here twice this month after avoiding for a year due to bad reports. Apparently management has changed. Fast and friendly service. Extensive menu with items which are unusual.
