Definitely a hit or miss experience. Went once and we had no issues. Food was hot and cooked well. Went again and it was all wrong. 01-19-26. Wow, where do I start, let me take you down the rabbit hole. The "general manager ", as she called herself, Elsie is a total - SELF APPOINTED - I am NEVER WRONG and screw listening to the customer I have run across in my whole life of 60+ years. I'm so extremely surprised she is not at one of the top 10, "Think Tanks" in this entire world. I feel sorry for ANY EMPLOYEE that has to be so extremely desperate to have to work for this person. When my husband brought our order home from, literally an hour and 40 minute round trip to see the order was made completely wrong. The reason it was even wrong is because Elsie stuck her head in where it didn't belong, as the employee serving the food was doing a great job until Elsie made them nervous, I called her and started to explain how this was a treat since we live WAY out in the country and the only thing that is delivered is USPS, UPS, AMAZ, FEDEX, but Elsie wouldn't let me talk. ELSIE, would not listen to me even when I had to tell her, "please stop talking". I just wanted credit for two meals, (two correct meals), when my husband was back over in Florence, which is only once every couple of months and that didn't even get resolved. So now, I'm having to elevate this to the Customer Relations, Executive at their Headquarters in Southern California. Beware the broccoli prep at the Florence Alabama store. The broccoli I received this evening was terrible! I could not eat it, I tried, and when I contacted the manager(Libby Moore) basically said that's the way we serve it. I guess the general manager(Elke Burton) must agree with this policy. "We serve broccoli sticks. We cut the broccoli and the sticks in thirds and serve it." I'm sorry but this is awful! Their pics don't show a single broccoli cutting that does not have a head attached. Nope not going back, second visit with same outcome. First visit I arrive an hour before closing and they only had two dishes out. Over a dozen items were already removed so they could clean up and get out early. They had two dishes which had obviously been cooked a long time ago and shouldn't have been out to serve, it was very dry looking and not very appetizing and rice which didn't look any better. Second visit was today. I inquired about what dishes were available with no sugar, she never checked and stated all the dishes have sugar. I know of at least two dishes that typically don't have sugar but wasn't willing to risk it. She could have offered to make something without sugar but I guess that wasn't in her wheelhouse of customer service. I will return to Panda Express but not this location. The Chow Mein tasted old. The noodles were tough. The Kung Pau chicken was crusty with very little meat. The two egg rolls under the warmer were dried out and looked old. We had to ask three times for fresh ones. They looked shocked when we ask for four. Our meal was about over when they brought them out. They looked worse then the two originals. We are frequent visitors to Panda Express' across the country. By far, the worst experience we have ever had was had at this store. A server (Cade) literally rolled his eyes at my wife when she asked for a little more of a tiny portion of chicken he was serving. Such a rude and unprofessional action! They didn't have sweet tea,some kind of chicken I asked for and also their top didn't fit on my water. Don't waste your time trying to get them to honor a free coupon they give you. My wife and I drove 15 miles went to get our free entrée of the 8 treasure chicken breast. The first girl told us we could substitute since they were out of it, but after we were served, the cashier and Manager denied us and said to come back in a few days to see if they had it. They had an advertisement on the wall for it. I gave the tickets to the Manager and told him to give the free entrée tickets to someone else that would be coming to the restaurant because we wouldn't be back. The cashier evidently thought it was funny and laughed. On top of that, the food they gave us was cold. My wife was nauseated the next morning. This is a great place to get a quick meal. The restaurant is a buffet style that the hosts and hostesses get your order together and you take it to a table after paying. Several of the dishes are very good and I love that all of the food is msg free. I recently ordered through the drive in window for carry home dinner and loved how easy and fast getting my order was. All of the people are friendly and helpful. I've eaten here 3 times and will be back. read more
