Excellent food, courteous and quick service. Family run. I stop by for takeout about once a month and have never been disappointed.

Usually good food and prepared quickly while you wait. Spring rolls appear to be prepared and reheated.

Normally very good but today, ordered orange chicken, got something with no orange and way too sweet (maybe Tso?), just not very good.

Next door is the Sunrise Bakery and across the street is the KFC. As soon as I arrived with my date, who was blind, our waitress, Sarah, didn't miss a beat and as she seated us asked if she can bring a "plate with walls." Neither of us knew what she was talking about and I'm not sure how we answered, but she came back with a large dinner plate which had high sides on it. It was similar to a casserole dish. She said that she has a blind friend and he finds a plate like this easier to use. It was one of the kindest acts either of us had experienced in a very long time. One of the most important things to say about *any* buffet is how fresh the food is. While we were there, cooks brought out freshly-cooked salmon not only once, but twice. That says a lot. The food selection was good, though not very extensive, but it's a very small restaurant. We noticed that while the kitchen was in the rear, there was also a cook preparing some food in the dining room on a hibachi grill. That's a nice touch. While the storefront is not particularly appealing, the inside is lovely, though the wallpaper and artwork could use some updating. That's okay, though... the important thing here is the excellence of the food; it is... and so are the people of this city. As we were ready to leave, our bill was brought to us that said one of the patrons had already paid for our dinner. That was incredibly kind, and a kindness that I will certainly pay forward. If you're traveling through Lawrenceburg, stop by the Chinese Oriental Buffet. You won't be disappointed.

There are 2 separate steam tables and a cold table with salad / cold items. I needed a quick bite. This place was convenient and inexpensive. The parking lot reflected a decent amount of lunch traffic over the past couple weeks so figured why not. The quality was ok. A number of their versions of Americanized Chinese dishes were quite different than what I'm accustomed to. The salt and pepper chicken for example had a gritty sugary texture almost candied. It was quite surprising and off putting to me personally. The jalapeño chicken and mushroom chicken dishes were in virtually the same sauce exchange jalapeño for mushroom. I found a number of items had a sugar flavor almost as if they mistakingly used sugar in lieu of salt. Not my favorite. I've had worse! The server was very friendly and there were a few other items that were executed in what I would consider a more traditional manner for faux Chinese. It was a great value for quantity. Most items appeared freshly prepared. I don't know that I'll return but there were aspects such as variety and service that are quite a bargain for the price.

I'm so extremely surprised she is not at one of the top 10, "Think Tanks" in this entire world. I feel sorry for ANY EMPLOYEE that has to be so extremely desperate to have to work for this person. When my husband brought our order home from, literally an hour and 40 minute round trip to see the order was made completely wrong. The reason it was even wrong is because Elsie stuck her head in where it didn't belong, as the employee serving the food was doing a great job until Elsie made them nervous, I called her and started to explain how this was a treat since we live WAY out in the country and the only thing that is delivered is USPS, UPS, AMAZ, FEDEX, but Elsie wouldn't let me talk. ELSIE, would not listen to me even when I had to tell her, "please stop talking". I just wanted credit for two meals, (two correct meals), when my husband was back over in Florence, which is only once every couple of months and that didn't even get resolved. So now, I'm having to elevate this to the Customer Relations, Executive at their Headquarters in Southern California. Oh, if you ever need the Panda Express, Headquarter's direct phone number it is 1.626.799.9898. It's just not worth it. We are going back to this local establishment that is a little further away, but more importantly, where the self appointed "Julius Caesar", is not.
