When I bought my 2007 FJ in '06, it had some scratches on one side so, the dealership repainted it and I was never truly satisfied with the results. Yes, It was new paint, but compared to what I brought home today, that paint job was so inferior! I absolutely love this truck and always planned on keeping it forever, so at almost 17 years old, I decided it was time for a makeover! A friend recommended Johnny and I am so grateful. Aside from the normal wear and tear, my FJ had damage to the clear coat, a couple of dents, a deep scratch in the passenger door and several areas of rust on the roof. I also had a tiny leak in the roof that no one could find the source and since it only leaked under certain conditions, the interior damage was minimal. I had decided to paint the side mirrors (the stock side mirrors were silver) and also repaint the roof-rack and side step rails all matte black. The attention to detail that Johnny paid to my vehicle was amazing! I cannot emphasize enough how thrilled I am not only how pleased I am with the final outcome but also with the professionalism that goes into his work. When my husband and I picked up the truck today, not only had the two colors been repainted but the dents and scars were gone as was any evidence of rust. The vehicle had been washed and waxed, the ENTIRE undercarriage had been prepped and painted, the headlights polished and even the engine compartment had been cleaned up. The electric power to the side mirrors hasn't worked for years, yet it does now. That roof leak I mentioned, was found during the painting process, sealed and I now have a new headliner. He fixed a cover to my 12v outlet that was broken and was laying in the cup holder and so on... He even cleaned the inside of the vehicle! I will be sharing with everyone I know that may be thinking about repainting a car... please go to New Car Collision, you will be so glad you did! These guys are real professionals. Came in to get a quote on some repair work after dealing with one of the knuckleheads down the street and these guys were no nonsense. Gave me a reasonable price the same day and I had them do the work. Just picked up my truck and it looks like it just came out of the factory. I scraped the side of my new Subaru against a column in a parking garage. I shopped it around and New Car gave me the lowest quote by quite a bit. And, unlike other shops, New Car was able to begin the work almost immediately. Having gone with the lowest bidder, I was a little concerned that the repair work wouldn't be perfect. Thankfully, my concerns were unwarranted. The car came back looking just like new -- just like the owner, Johnny, said it would. I was so pleased with the shop's work and how nicely I was treated, that I brought in my second car, an old Jeep wrangler, for a number of small paint and dent repairs it needed.
