I quote the mechanics triangle a lot because it applies to so many things Cheap, Good, Fast That's what everyone wants but that's not easy to acquire. Life doesn't work that way but you should and can choose two of the three I had some scratches and dents on my truck that I wanted to fix I shopped around and was surprised how expensive this work can be. My truck, that I love, is a 2002 Chevy and worth about 8-10k. So fixing some dents and scratches at the rate of 2.5-3.5 k just didn't feel right Luckily, Chino gave me what feels like a bargain only because of the other quotes I got. So we got the cheap part. I got my truck back and I'm super happy how it looks. The scratches are gone. The dent I got because I was eating crap on the Palmetto and hit those sticks dividing the express lanes is all gone So we got the good part. The one I didn't get was fast. I was told it would take 4-5 days and ended up taking two weeks. Not a big deal for me since I had the time off and didn't need my daily. And if I had to choose, good and cheap is the way to go for me 99% of the time. Hopefully, I don't ever have to go back to this place and I mean that in the best way possible. read more

My Ford 2007 FX2 Sport F150 is almost 14 years old with over 255k miles but still runs like a champ. These are great vehicles. Assembled in Kentucky. Go USA! My truck is mechanically sound and according to my auto mechanic I should be able to keep it running for years so long as I continue to bring it in for regular maintenance ...but our Florida tropical weather had taken it's toll. Roof was rusting baldly and this needed to be addressed. Fast forward, I drop it off at Chino's where I am greeted my an awesome young man named "John" The excellent customer care I received exceeded my expectations. Chino had it fixed perfectly in an efficient time for a good price- a couple hundred bucks less than I had expected to pay. The office staff is very friendly , professional and responsive. My poor car has been through the ringer, I had scratches, a trailer hit my front end (hit and run), I scraped the wall on the back and then i got hit on the side by another car (very slow but ended up scratching and slightly ripling door). I got quotes at 4 different places. This is what I really liked about Chinos. Chino personally looked at the car, spent a really long time looking and making notes, and he was one of the few people who actually opened the car doors to check for damage. He also was reasonably priced. I dropped it off on a Tuesday and I will be honest I was a little upset as I had been told 7 days when I had initially gone in for a quote but then it eventually became 11. What detail to service. I first went for an estimate, and then went to a competitor that was recommended by a friend. The original prices were within 200 of each other so I decided to go with the "other guy" that had been recommended by a dear friend. I won't bore you with the details but I leave my car and several hours later the other guys tell me that they can't fix my door and it has to be replaced increasing the bill by 600. 00. As they'd already kept my car all day without doing anything I figured, just go with it. Remember they'd been recommended. An hour later they call to tell me that they couldn't honor my original written estimate and that my 1800.00 was now 3000.00. I decided to pick up my car and drive STRAIGHT to Chinos. The manager remembered me. I told him the whole story and asked him to take another look at my car and make sure door didn't need replacing. The owner Chino was there and came out with the manager. They BOTH agreed they could fix the door without replacing. They quoted me the same price and a 7day turn around. They took 8 days only because the owner said he wanted the door to be perfect and he didn't like how they'd buffed it. I was kept in the loop the whole time, the price ended up being better and most importantly I felt happy, respected and listened to. I have no words to say how much I love the work they did.
