We have ordered take-out and delivery countless times from here! It's the best in the Denver/Adamstown area! Before COVID, they were very consistent in their quality and taste of food. During and immediately after COVID, things became a bit less consistent. However, for the last few months, things have improved and the consistency is back! The sushi is yummy and the quality of the seafood seems good. We typically order sushi, fried rice, egg rolls, various other appetizers, sweet and sour pork or chicken, General Tso's chicken, and soups. The dishes we received were in recognizable for the genre- Kung Pao chicken should be a spicy and flavorful dish featuring whole hot peppers - they were non- existent- I've honestly had spicier ketchup- the Mongolian Beef had wayyyyyy too many onions and very few slices of beef- typically a sliced flank steak in a hoisin soy base- Mongolian beef does feature white onion and green onion, but the ratios were off. We were hoping for some authenticity in these dishes- If you're looking for Schezuan or Hunan boldness, you may want to try somewhere else- and yes, Beijing, or Jung cuisine is it's own thing- This felt more Cantonese or Mandarin in its mellowness- the people were nice and the order was ready quickly however- read more

Just what I needed that day. It was a warm March day and I hadn't eaten lunch and was traveling to a camping event near here. I knew I wouldn't eat too much over the weekend so I figured I'd fill up on carbs, veggies, and protein at some point. During the trip it started pouring down awful rain with thunder and lightning...the skies were attacking voraciously. I found this place on Yelp and stopped in, running through the parking lot, dodging lightning bolts and trying to minimize my exposure to Pennsylvania rain. I opened the door into a cute little restaurant and felt drier already. I ordered a large chicken and broccoli with white rice to fulfill my hopes and dreams for the day. When the lady told me the total, I was shocked! It didn't seem right! Too cheap! But I looked at the menu and it was the price! The cashier was awesome and made me feel at home in the restaurant where I sought respite from the vicious storms outside. My food arrived almost too quickly, if only because I was hoping to avoid the weather a little longer. ...but this place had another kind of magic, because as I walked to the door and opened it, the heavens opened above me...and not with rain as it had been, but with gorgeous, radiant sunlight; the dark clouds floated into the distance. Reminds me of the Chinese I used to get in Philly...delicious! When I moved to the South I realized how limited the options are for good Americanized Chinese food, so when I saw the scallion pancake and pizza roll on this menu I was so excited. Both were exactly what I remember! The dipping sauce for the scallion pancake is so good I could pour it over everything. I also got the dragon roll and spicy tuna roll. Both were decent, but I think I would stick with ordering Chinese from here. Also, I've never been able to order delivery in Denver and this is the first restaurant I've found that will deliver! I can't give a 0 review so I generously gave them a 1. I have been here pre-COVID and would have given them a 3 or better. New owner? The meal was a Failure from the start. This is the only Chinese restaurant in PA not open to the public. Their delivery driver has to pick up his deliveries through the same window through which I had to get my order. Can you say paranoid! My bag had no silverware and no napkins. The soup was hot and sour, neither on both. Thank goodness I asked for hot sauce at pickup as they gave me none in my bag. They forgot pepper and vinegar. The dinner was Kung pao combo, shrimp, chicken and beef with broccoli, peppers, corn and peanuts. My complaint about most Kung pao dishes is they're at least 20% peanuts. No problem here, I got 14 peanuts in the whole dish. Instead of listing it as broccoli they should have called it broccoli stem as there was no other broccoli than chopped stem, which many restaurants dispose. There was 3 shrimp in the dish even though it is the first ingredient on the menu. Then mostly broccoli stem. Small amount of chicken and beef but adequate. Once again, had a red "hot" label on the menu, but bland. Not even slightly warm. There is something new in the kitchen and it should cost them all their stars. The only thing hot, temperature wise, was the rice. The soup was cold and the dinner was Luke warm and my hotel was less than a block from the restaurant and it couldn't have cooled off that fast. This place was great when it first opened (like 3-4 years ago) the staff was so friendly and the presentation of food was excellent. Now, the food is still good but no effort is put in, and the woman who takes the orders, answers the phone, and I guess just runs the place in general is sooooo rude. Celebrated Valentine's Day with the kids here and it was excellent. Family-owned and operated, nice ambiance and relaxed atmosphere (even though the mother told us they were slammed in the back.) We did wait quite a while to be waited on, but with it being a holiday, it was understandable. The crab Rangoon was handmade and not frozen to fryer, the plating presentation was pretty and the portions were a decent size. One drawback was that my fiancé's dish barely had any chicken in it even though it was supposed to be a chicken dish. Will definitely return to try some of the other offerings! read more

Ok Chinese food , not good staff . They need people skills. Food I would say very average.

We were visiting a bed and breakfast in the area on Christmas Day and this was the only place that was open, but we were so glad it was! This was the best Chinese I have had in a long time! We ordered chicken Chowmein, shrimp and scallops, and moo goo gai pan. All was very tasty, lots of shrimp chicken and scallops. We also order avocado rolls that were very good. All good was very tasty without being salty, and the staff was very nice. Bathrooms were very clean! Definitely give this place a try if you're in the mood for Chinese! read more

Awesome sushi/Chinese restaurant. The food was fresh & delicious and the management & servers were very nice. It's a diamond in the rough. It's in a small strip mall & doesn't look like anything special from the outside but the interior is quaint and the people who run it are absolutely sweet. Food was very fresh & came out warm & delicious. I had their house salad & it was one of the freshest I've had in a long time. My daughter enjoyed the octopus salad. Just threw away a meal of shrimp and scallops in garlic sauce. Which I paid extra for 6 extra shrimp and 6 extra scallops (yes I'm a seafood lover), as soon as my wife took the lid off the takeout container she said "this is no good, it smells to high heaven". She was right, it was spoiled. When any seafood has an ammonia smell it is spoiled and is a food poisoning risk. This is the only entree I order from there when we get takeout from them. I have probably had it 20 some times from there and it has always been good. No more seafood from them, they've lost my trust. read more

Terrible food and service. This was my first visit to the area and all I ordered was a Chicken and Rice soup and pork egg roll. The soup was warm, unnaturally yellow and tasteless. The chicken (very little, but they probably did me a favor) was rubbery. How can you mess up an eggroll. Well, it was hot, but it was bland with a very thick dough and filled with cabbage. I'm a regular sushi eater. I look for a sushi place where ever the next contract is. Very pleased to find one so close to my hotel. And so very pleasantly Surprised, the sushi here was awesome. I had a naruto roll and a dinosaur roll. The seaweed salad topped it off perfectly. The fish was fresh and buttery, I wouldn't trade it for a higher end place. Very reasonably priced, I will be back again. You never know what you'll find in small town Pennsylvania. First of all, the location on Google maps is not correct. This is another American Chinese place at a tiny strip mall. Interior is not really welcoming. My boyfriend and I just ordered take out from here and it was awesome! The food was really hot, even when we got home, and tasted very fresh. The sesame chicken was large chunks of white breast meat. This was our favorite Chinese restaurant, but it has gone way down hill in the last couple of months. The chicken noodle has only a few noodles compared to before and the soup is pretty tasteless. I was skeptical of the restaurant at first sight. It was during the week and empty. My husband and I went in for lunch and was delighted with the food and portions. I ordered spicy broccoli which came with steamed white rice and an egg roll. The broccoli was delicious in its red somewhat spicy sauce and the egg roll was cooked well. My husband had pork fried rice which was very tasty and a sea food dish. I didn't try it due to my allergies but he loved it. My wife and I were traveling from out of state and went in for a late lunch. Road weary and hungry, we quickly ordered. After removing our coats, we realized our table was absolutely filthy. The silver wear was in plastic a plastic bag. The menus were also covered in grease. With lots of carry out business, they tend to ignore eat in customers. We finished our meal and got back on the road, only to realize that we both needed an emergency rest stop. It's almost 24 hours later and we both are still having digestive issues. The woman who answered the phone had to repeatedly ask questions to another person about everything i ordered and did not seem to have knowledge of anything on the menu. I ordered the sushi lunch with salad (comes with choice of soup or salad) and black pepper chicken. The sushi lunch says it comes with 8 pieces and does not say chefs choice like the other options. However when i asked to pick my sushi, i was told that i could not because it was chefs choice only. When the food came, they had sent the soup instead of salad. I called back and they accused me of not stating that i wanted salad, and said that when you don't specify soup or salad, they just send soup. First of all, my husband heard me say salad, second, why would you just send soup? Why wouldnt you just ask, soup or salad? When i politely stated that i was sure that i had ordered salad, she rudely replied that if i wanted salad i can come pick it up. The sushi included two pieces that were not even sushi. And the black pepper chicken, which was a chef special mind you, was over 50% onions! Im not even exaggerating here, it was that much onion. So basically you are paying $11 for mostly onions and rice with a few scattered pieces of chicken. VERY RUDE STAFF AND SUBPAR FOOD. read more
