The best Chinese food in Lancaster County. Friendly staff, who puts customer care first. Always a pleasure to place my order over the phone. I don't ever have to repeat myself. I pick up just to say hi to these wonderful people who make the best Asian food in town.

This is the pad Thai with shrimp. Large amount. Not very flavorful this time. Was a lot better reheated at home.

The pan fried dumplings were pretty good but the hot and spicy soup was not good at all.

Good, consistent Chinese food in Ephrata! I've tried a couple of others in the area and would carry out from here over them.

Worse meal I have ever had. This place has gone way down hill. Threw the food away. Not fresh and no taste. YUCK!

They have a small buffet that honestly is enough of a selection for me (it's not going to be considered "enough" for everyone, this isn't the Manor Buffet).

I did enjoy a burger special, the Patty Melt. Gail, our server, was personable, accommodating, and delightful. We also had the opportunity to speak with the charming owner, Gina, who shared the history of Lickity Split, which began with their ice cream truck. The dessert menu included dairy-free and sugar-free ice creams. If you are shopping in Lancaster County, you must dine at the quaint old-fashioned Lickity Split. You won't regret the food or service.

The inside of the restaurant is somewhat narrow, but long. They have a variety of seating available and I was put in a comfy booth towards the front. Both the employee working at the host stand and my server were very friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be working there. My server said she had been there since she was 15 years old and seemed to have good report with the regulars. I ordered a small spring house salad with the dressing on the side and the cheesesteak stuffed pretzel. The stuffed pretzel was greasy and amazing in all of the ways a good Amish pretzel is. It had the right amount of salty and sweet and the cheesesteak filling was hot and gooey. The pickle and chips on the side added a nice crunch. The salad was fresh and loaded with toppings. I wished I had room for ice cream because all of the flavors in the case next to where I was seated sounded delicious, but I was too full. I asked for a rice krispie to go and it didn't let me down. It had a nice vanilla flavor and that fresh marshmallow-y pull in each bite. Prices were more than fair for the quality. The bathroom is outside in a separate building, but was also easy to locate and clean. I will be back to try some ice cream!

Even though I made a reservation, the parking (both lots), completely full and in semi-empty spaces, held heaps of snow. We partially parked on the side, of a heaping pile and my husband had to scoot his butt, past the steering wheel, to get out of the car. Why am I harping on the car parking situation? Because, if this restaurant choose to stick to those who had reservations, only; I feel there would have been ample parking available. I would have preferred to sit downstairs, dimmed lighting, wooden beams and overall, cozier feel. Yeah, I should have spoken up as to where I would have preferred to sit, but now I'm feeling slighted, by the lack of courtesy shown towards someone, who had the foresight to make a reservation in advance. Upstairs we went - bright lights, white table cloths, nothing cozy or hinting of Valentine's Day. That's okay, I'm thinking; the food will be good. A crock of onion soup, as a starter - perfect, actually, not too salty, caramelized onions, bubbly broiled cheese, savory onion broth, no complaints here. Medium-well prime rib, served raw, with a butter knife, no accompanied horseradish and over-cooked potato slices, undercooked zucchini. I sent it back to the kitchen. The same steak came back to me (not a new one), thirty minutes later, with the proper steak knife and horseradish. My husband's entree of five smallish scallops - decorated by halved, charred brussel sprouts on either side, looked more like an appetizer. This meal burned a huge, unimpressive hole in our wallet.

The inside of this place literally looks like a college dining hall but the food is like something out of a loving grandmother's kitchen. We were in the area to inquire about building something for our home at a nearby business and the business owner recommended we come here for lunch-and we were glad because it's our family's new favorite! We love it so much we came back and ate here a second time. The first time we came I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was probably one of the best meatloafs I've ever had: tender and beefy. My son had the chicken and cheddar quesadilla with waffle fries which he loved. My husband had chicken soup and a lemon blueberry pie that was so good (he shared some with us). The second time we came my son and I hit Philly cheesesteak quesadillas and my husband got a club sandwich. Fast friendly service and the definition of comfort food. Come get some!
