Went to have lunch with my fiancé with their lunch buffet for the first time since Covid. I'm a little sad that I didn't see any bourbon chicken (my absolute favorite they used to make and offer) but it wasn't bad. I am curious if they rotate their selections and maybe I missed their day they offer bourbon chicken. Our server was so sweet and attentive. I actually do love this place, it's local, service is quick and kind. Place is clean. I will be coming back on another day to see if the food selection is different. I will say this, this is the first Chinese place I found when we first moved here. With it being about half a mile from my place, we ate here the day before we moved in. We have eaten here since. The service is standard Chinese with a standard menu of food. The only complaint I have is that they charge for delivery even though I am literally half a mile from their place. The food is amazing, the service is consistent but I usually go to get the food due to the cost of delivery. I have yet to try their buffet but I will try it down the line. read more

People are quick to judge this place but actually the people working here are working hard. They get a lot of takeout orders and while I think that their takeout orders often have less food than their dine in portions I still enjoy them. They have a small buffet that honestly is enough of a selection for me (it's not going to be considered "enough" for everyone, this isn't the Manor Buffet). They also always ask if we want ice cream at the end which I think is nice. You can always ask for more too, they never say no (at least in my experience). The staff are always friendly to me and my girlfriend so I have no complaints and the service when we eat with the mini buffet part is pretty on top of taking our plates. Personally I enjoy this place it's a cute little divey buffet. I took my parents here before and they even liked it. I think people just need to give the place a chance, it's a small restaurant. read more

I placed an order for delivery and asked for the broccoli to be very very well done. The delivery driver brought my food he was extremely rude. I went to eat and my fork wouldn't even go into the broccoli it was hard as a rock. I called and explained my issue to the lady for took my order and she said they would send another order out. when that order came in, no more than 10 minutes, I checked it and that broccoli was ever worse. I sent it back and called to them and asked for my money back. I told her I was returning everything & she said that I would have to pick up my money. I told her that I can't leave work & to send the driver back. I packed up everything. the driver came and now he took everything but the chick out of the bag but the chicken and threw it on the front counter and he yelled at me saying only the chicken goes back and that's the only thing they would refund. he counted out the money and threw it at me & walked out. my boss heard him yelling at me but he got up here when the guy was already in his car. read more

This place is OK if you want a cheap quick buffet meal. They serve only so much, so there's no waste and the food is hot. They constantly restock the items. Not a big selection bit it's do able . The servers are great, never have to ask for anything. Today I tried the pad Thai with shrimp from the menu. The amount was great. The only problem was it had no taste. I was skittle disappointed. Went for dinner a couple nights ago on a lark. Small, unassuming restaurant, we weren't anticipating a buffet, which was a nice surprise. My partner got a Hawaiian meal and I got the buffet. Their meal was quickly served and very tasty! Everything on the buffet I tried was tasty, tho had been sitting a while and wasn't exactly hot and fresh. The lo mein was overly salty and hard, however. Service was below average. Our server (green hair) seemed impatient and was definitely rude. She didn't know the menu, either. "do you know what you want yet?" is NOT good service. Was quick with refills, however. We'll come back for the food, but not for the service. Update: Have ordered delivery several times since this review, and gone in for the lunch buffet. Food is just as good (they happily accommodated my request for crispier gen tso's chicken, and it was great!), and much better service! Bumping up to a 4! read more

Woman with the green hair and the nose piercing was very nice and attentive we tipped her 25 percent. My wife ordered Mei fun and my 2yr old daughter and I ate off the buffet. I got my daughter her food first. Brought it to the table and I said hot be careful and instantly before my wife could stop her, her hands were in the food. Picking it up with her fingers. It was luke warm, whew. Well that was not a good thing for the food and everything that goes along with cold food on buffets but it surely saved her fingers. I then went up for myself and got a plate of general Taos chicken and sesame chicken along with some rice and two pieces of the sweat and sour chicken with no sauce. The first piece of chicken was fine but only mildly warm. The second piece tasted like ammonia (spoiled). Disgusted I tried to get the taste out of my mouth and ate a piece of the sweet and sour chicken and that too tasted very off. I drank some soda that too was not even right. I normally complain about stuff like this to management but there were children eating near the register and an infant there along with an elderly couple and I did not want to upset anyone. I took a deep breath asked for the check and we left. It has been a very long time that I had horrible food at an establishment. This was literally the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. The bourbon chicken was dry, the sweet and sour chicken was dry. The rice was okay, not the best. The egg rolls were so salty we threw them out, they were not fit for consumption, same with the pizza roll. The noodles tasted like they poured liquid smoke in it, they tasted like the smell of a fireplace. Ordered online, but the delivery was slow, driver was very friendly and courteous. They wrote a note on the order to include my phone number next time, but there was no place to fill it in online, and had no idea they wanted it. I was sadly disappointed at the service and quality of some of the food. To start, when my friend picked up the order, shame on her, she did not look at the order. They told her that was everything and she took it and left. We live 25 minutes away, so imagine the disappointment when only half of the order was there. Not even half, we only received the egg rolls and soup. There were 5 meals missing! When we called, they didn't seem like they cared. I originally placed the order online and they called for my credit card info, so they had my number. They could have called and I could have sent my friend back earlier. When my friend went back to get the food, they offered a diet pepsi as a peace offering. No one in my family drinks diet, it would have been nice to say "pick the soda you want". The food was all cold, so I assume they just had it sitting in a bag on a counter, for what would have been an hour by now. So, while my friend was going back for the order, while the won ton soup was still hot, I decided I would eat an egg roll and soup awhile. The egg rolls had whole pieces of cabbage in them and hard to bite. Normally, egg rolls have the shredded cabbage in them. And the won ton! I was so disappointed! The noodles were uncooked, doughy and stretchy! I couldn't even eat them. I only drank the broth. The meals we got (finally) were cold, but tasted ok, after reheating. Sadly, I will not be going back to try them again. I feel the lack of caring and not calling us to let us know that we didn't get half our order and the quality of the soup and egg roll, did not meet my expectations. read more

I have eaten at Wok n Roll a few times a month for 8 to 10 years and I have NEVER seen any bugs or had a bad meal. These folks make great food and have a very attentive staff. Went there for lunch. Everything I tried was hot and well made. The one thing I really liked was that the steam tray pans were not over flowing...but had just enough to feed the patrons there so you did not have to worry about food just sitting there for hours. The staff were pleasant and the place looked very clean. When you pay your check you can get a good view of the kitchen so there was no obvious ..."oh no" sightings. Is it worth a special trip...na. This was the worst buffet I have ever been to. Went to this place due to reviews that were online only to find out they must be fraudulent. They buffet prices were not visibly listed anywhere. They buffet was only one table and had maybe 10 selections of either over cooked or undercooked dishes. Some were bad tasting as if they were old. Floor was dirty and disgusting and staff did nothing but stare at us while we tried to eat. Bill was almost $50 for 2 kids and 2 adults and when these things were brought up with staff and management there were not apologies and the bill was not cancelled.
