How does a gorgeous restaurant offer an even more stunning buffet and make everything feel elegant... welcome to Hershey Farm Resort. We stopped for lunch after touring Sight & Sound Theater. The seating is large family style tables because they generally appeal to large groups. Everything was elegant. Floor to ceiling windows, wood accents everywhere to bring the modern farm feel, but everything extremely contemporary and clean. The buffet has EVERYTHING! With four hot food lines, a salad island, a dessert island, a made-to-order grill, you can literally get food that appeals to everyone. Again being in Lancaster, I had to focus on some Amish classics. Shoo Fly Pie was phenomenal and definitely goes well with a dollop of Vanilla Ice Cream. Ham Balls were reminiscent of my grandmother's ham loaf, except these came with a delicious honey sauce. Amish Fillings is a fresher, fuller version of you standard stuffing. Large pieces of soft bread - I'd consider a perfect adaptation of stuffing and bread pudding together. The staff was extremely attentive. Filling drinks and clearing plates with precision. You enter feeling overwhelmed and you leave feeling very full.

"Sweeter than a Hershey Kiss Come, be my dessert " (Britney Spears) Picture a dessert bar, salad bar, soup bar, carving station, a made to order counter, and what feels like half a mile of buffet trays--because that's exactly what $41.99 gets an adult for a Saturday night dinner at Hershey Farm's Grand Smorgasbord. Oh, I forgot to mention that everything is AYCE. We just had a fantastic group dinner here, and as I watched my tablemates go up for plate after plate after plate, it became apparent that we were having a sensational experience. I started off with a cup of their chili as my base, added in spoonfuls of cheese and mushrooms from their salad bar, and garnished the whole thing with a few tortilla chips. Yes, it was great. Next, I went to their made-to-order counter (The Grille) and ordered a crab cake. It was delicious, stacked with crabmeat with a crunchy breadcrumb filling. Round #1 for me was greens from the salad bar, seven shell-on shrimp, and a piece of fried chicken. The fried chicken was the clear winner of this round- it was juicy, crunchy, tender, and pretty much 100% magnificent. Round #2 for me was a hunk of meatloaf, some rice, and a scoop of Orange Chicken. No clear winner here -both were very good. I finished off my night of gluttony with a slice of sugar free cherry pie that sure tasted like the real deal. Our dinner included pitchers of water, lemonade, and iced tea on our table. AYCD soft drinks will add $4.99 to your bill. The dining room is very spacious and gorgeous, the buffet tables are spacious and not crowded, and the service was amazing as plates were cleared at the speed of light. For a once in a while "cheat" meal, you'll be happy as a clam here!

We arrived about 49 minutes before they closed on a Friday night .... Our server was extremely friendly and attentive. However we felt rushed - they were putting food away as ppl were still eating (not just our party). Some of the food wasn't the hottest. However there were lots of options. The resort was redone in summer 2024 - so everything is new

Came twice, in my opinion it works ONLY if you come for lunch Monday-Friday and you are a family of 2 adults and 2 children. The reason is that kids eat free with paying adults. If I would have to pay for the kids then I wouldn't have come. If it was just me and my wife then I would also go someplace else. Food is just ok, lots of options but not really great options. You will definitely find something to eat but there wasn't one dish that I thought was great. Service is also just fine.

It was our annual tradition for Easter weekend to have dinner here when in the area. We haven't been back since the fire and came back today. While it looks beautiful and new, we really miss the country vibe of Hershey Restaurant before the fire. This place reminded me of IKEA dining room. The food was still delicious and the service as impeccable as always. The prime rib was absolutely delicious. I also enjoyed muscles and shrimp. We miss the old restaurant though, this place is not the same.

I came here to say after seeing the Daniel post at Sight & Sound, and I was not disappointed. Probably one of the best food experiences and quality I have had in the area. I've been coming here every couple of years to see a play so I was intrigued. The place looks amazing I wanted to go inside of the shop they had but I will definitely come back. My family and I plan to come and stay at the end and experience the Noah's ark play. I am looking forward to it.

The lunch buffet was bland and bad. Our large group was automatically charged an 18% gratuity, which is understandable, but the receipt still had an additional blank tip line, and the staff even asked us to fill it out! We asked why, since it was already included, and he didn't respond. That left a bad taste in my mouth along with the already bad food!

It's ok for a "family style", I guess. Smorgasbord is on the opposite side. This place takes reservations.

Not at all pleased with the buffet. Food was bland, too many fried selections and had a very rude waitress. Won't be returning.

It was basically a restaurant with a huge gift shop, a toy store and restaurant that was so popular you'd have to wait an hour to get in. As a kid I loved it and I've develped a fondness for these touristy restaurants. Not tourist traps because those are usually overpriced and not good. Millers Falls into that category for me. It's a gigantic restaurant with several adjacent stores and lots of branded items. But the attraction of course is the smorgasbord. Yes, that's essentially a buffet if you're reading this from one of my home towns on the west coast or Southwest. The place is huge and you'd think it might be slow to get or confusing but it's extremely well run. There are multiple stations such as Salads, Local Favorites, Appetizers and the ubiquitous carving station. I'd say stay away from the carving station; the roast beef was dried and a little tough. But everything else was great and very fresh. Some highlights included brown butter noodles, chicken pot pie (sortof a dumpling) Cabbage bake and ham balls. All the regional PA specialties are really delicious. The pickled eggs, pickled beats and spicy gardinera were yummy too. A gooey oatmeal pie was a delightful and delicious desert, but there were dozens of deserts to choose from as well. The wait staff were friendly and super efficient. If you're visiting the Lancaster area it's well worth the visit.

When we sat down we were immediately approached by a very pleasant smiling server. Her first question was whether or not we had ever frequented Miller's before? We said that this was our first time. Question #2 -What can I get you to drink? She then rattled off all kinds of soft drinks. We asked for a raspberry tea and an unsweetened tea. She kept our glasses full throughout our lunch. I was surprised to see a charge of $3.99 per drink added to our bill. Now I don't consider myself cheap. BUT, please say "would you care to order some beverages? Since this is your first time drinks are not included" The food was possibly a step above a college cafeteria. When i asked one of the food attendants "where's the beef"? he replied only on weekends. If you like pork and ham you're in good hands- they had what looked like a compressed turkey breast as well. The potato soup was very good and the fried chicken acceptable. So i was looking forward to the desserts. I love cherry pie so i took a piece and a piece of yellow cake with chocolate frosting.. You have to understand they cut 10-12 pieces out of a pie, small servings. After one bite of each as i pushed them both aside my wife had a stunned look. Knowing they are my favorites she was shocked i wasn't eating them. They were absolutely not worth the calories. BTW the coffee was lukewarm and the cup size was 4oz. at best. I'm glad i got the Amish Country buffet out of my system and hope I saved you a trip and the $80+ we paid with the tip.

The hash brown wedges were pretty good, as was the French toast. And they had 100% pure Vermont maple syrup Overall, good value but overhyped. To get the best bang for your buck you gotta know what's good for your tastes and load up your plate on those items. So, pretty much like any buffet.

The breakfast offerings, unfortunately, were a let down. Eggs were lukewarm, scrambled hard, boiled ham, flavorless, pancakes, spongy discs, homefries, potatoes from a can (noticeable corners were cut in many food items), continuing... mini sticky buns, crisp, hard, fruit - lacked variety, baked oatmeal, toothsome, dry, unremarkable.
