To be fair, it was reminiscent of my Grandmother's bedroom when I was a kid but we thought it was fun and rolled with it. Breakfast was wonderful and inclusive of so many things - the grilled pineapple was fantastic. Despite only staying one night, Chip invited us to return during the next day if we needed anything - it kinda felt like we were staying with family. I detected a manure smell when we exited the car upon our arrival, but nothing inside the building nor even outside the next day. The included breakfast is your basic non-restaurant breakfast (serve yourself from a catering container of scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, yogurt, etc.) with one toaster for everyone, somewhat limited seating If you like luxurious breakfast, you'll want to go elsewhere. If you like a quick breakfast included with the price of the hotel, this is perfect. It's not a luxury hotel, but it doesn't claim to be.

Floors were very clean. Plus there is a large well maintained grass yard in back to walk our dogs. We always travel with our own linens and once I remade the bed with them felt as if we were at a much more expensive hotel chain. Just be aware that the dogs are never to be left alone in the room, even if crated. The proprietors are serious about your not letting your dogs go unattended and potentially cause issues for others in the hotel.

The wine store next door was also very good as they let you do at least 6 wine tastings to fine the wine that suits you. The only negative about the B&B was the bed. Although it was a king size and had a canopy, it was a little too hard for my back. It actually caused me too have backache in the morning. BUT that wouldn't deter me from going back again.
