We were in town for a wedding. This hotel was clean and super convenient to the main strip of shops and restaurants in West Chester. The front desk staff welcomed us in and was helpful with validating our parking. We had a king room that was very spacious. Everything felt very clean and the AC worked well. The toiletries provided in the bathroom smelt wonderful and the shower had great pressure. They had complimentary breakfast every morning. There was sausage, scrambled eggs, coffee, tea, juice, a waffle maker, yogurt, bagels, muffins, cereal, and juice. A huge spread! It was all delicious and the team working the breakfast area was super efficient and on top of refilling anything before it ran out. There is a small pool and gym, but we didn't utilize these amenities. There's a hotel bar as well, but we didn't stop in given the many options in the area. If we visit the area again we would definitely stay at Hotel Warner again.

Looks are deceiving!! I had the BEST hotel experience at Hotel Warner. They're strict about check-in and checkout times, but I can appreciate rules and running a small business. The continental breakfast was good and dining area with spacious. The customer service here is exceptional!! I needed a quiet place to meet and they created one for me. I accidentally I left some dresses in the closet and for a reasonable S&H fee, they mailed it back to me. But, let me emphasize.. my dresses were still there! And, I received the package within 5 days. Thank you all!

Pleasant little historic hotel in historic downtown west Chester. I recommend paying to park in the adjacent garage -- not cheap, but convenient. Everything about the place is fine enough, and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast offering is just some simple carbs, and not really worth grabbing unless you're really in a hurry, since there are so many places you can go for breakfast within a couple of blocks radius. Ultimately, the Hotel Warner wins on that location, being smack in the middle of tons of cute shops and restaurants and bars..

I stayed here over the weekend for a wedding I had nearby. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the rooms and service. The hotel reminded me of a Hampton Inn or a nicer chain hotel. Our room (304) was spacious and clean as was the bathroom. We parked across the street at the municipal lot for $5.00 a night, which is definitely the way to go. Breakfast is complimentary each morning and goes until 10am. They have bagels, muffins, yogurt, cereal, waffles, and Jimmy Dean's breakfast sandwiches. It's definitely a nice touch and a way to save money.

From the moment we arrived we were impressed by how accommodating and beautiful the hotel was. Even though we were only there for a day and a half attending the party and then leaving the following day, it was the perfect spot for celebrating. The atmosphere was lively with lots of dancing, laughter, and great memories made. Our room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. The bed in particular was surprisingly plush and made for a restful night's sleep. The staff was friendly and helpful which made the stay even more enjoyable. The grounds of the hotel were absolutely mesmerizing. I found myself wanting to take pictures all around the property, with its lovely landscaping and peaceful surroundings. It made for a beautiful backdrop to our stay. The hotel offers a large basketball court, arcade room, an indoor swimming pool, which caught my attention, though I didn't have enough time to fully enjoy them. The pool area was well maintained. When I opened the door to the pool, I could immediately smell the strong chlorine, so I decided to pass. One nice touch was the breakfast served in a small nook on the second floor. It was a nice convenience to grab a bite before heading out. Overall, it was a great experience despite a few small areas for improvement. We definitely recommend this Best Western Plus for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay.

In a hospitality outfit like this with the in-room jacuzzis and libertarian approach to collective usage of the property - something I think enhances its nostalgic charm - there are certain aspects that require either appreciative tolerance or overlooking it entirely. The situation is what it is. We all find ways to adapt. For example in our room, the toilet seal was completely broken for our first 12 hours we were there. I got weirdly familiar with how to fix the toilet. But it did get fixed. I agree with whoever here said strange lighting choices. Very true. And the jets are weak in the jacuzzi but it does get super hot. Ceiling mirrors are what you're there for. I saw Puxatawney Phil in the yard. Breakfast sucks, but I don't eat breakfast anyway. Coffee available all day in the lobby. Worth it! Would go back!

Black mold on the tub, mysterious stains all over the carpet, appliances did not work, that old 80s smell, and torn curtains that surrounded our heart shaped bed. The service was okay but we ultimately decided to leave early and did not stay the night as intended due to the rooms condition. We were not offered a different room and were refused a refund. So ultimately, maybe find another location?

I found the Adamstown Inn online, and it was reasonably priced, the photos didn't look like Great Aunt Gertrude's parlor, and every room had an en-suite fireplace (my one stipulation). We stayed 2 nights in the Topaz room at the Amethyst Inn. It was amazing. The Amethyst Inn is a big, old (but beautifully maintained) Victorian home, converted into the Inn. Our room was equal parts Victoriana (joie de vie wallpaper and a very ornate cast iron fireplace) and Country - beautiful antique oak furniture. The queen sized featherbed was luxurious and we slept like babies. The bathroom was updated, immaculate and the jacuzzi was amazing. Breakfast was to die for. Four courses each morning of fantastic, unique home cooked goodness. Everything was so fresh and amazing. Their coffee was great (and endless) as well! The staff was wonderful and warm, but not intrusive. They were incredibly thoughtful. Every day there was a small gift waiting for us on the bed, and when we left they gave us snacks for the road! It snowed overnight the 2nd night, and they even cleaned our car off for us before we woke up. This place is first rate, gourmet, beautifully decorated and it is a wonderful respite away from Philadelphia. We, much like The Terminator, will be back.
