The beautiful living room had the biggest television I've ever seen, but we couldn't hook up our Apple TV streaming unit because the TV was mounted to the cabinet, making the HDMI port inaccessible. A swivel mount would solve this problem. We were able to hook it up to the bedroom TV, but I couldn't select the HDMI port using the remote. The front desk sent up a nice young man who set it up for us. Nice hotel, with friendly staff and an excellent breakfast.

The Hot Water dispenser by the coffees had clearly been used for coffee and not cleaned sufficiently (yuk!) The soap dispenser in the near the meeting rooms was empty. And when it was refilled, they made a total mess and somehow didn't notice/care. The meeting room trash cans were completely overflowing for hours. And they don't recycle!

For entrees we had a buffet serve yourself. On the menu was salmon with lemon butter sauce, thin slices top sirloin (I didn't have that), chicken Marsala w broccoli rabe (which was tough) the broccoli rabe was undercooked, salads, a caprese type salad, and potato wedges. I just called in to them to get it straight and the Manager was so angry she was having to help me. Refused to believe anything was wrong on my bill at all. She said she would send it to me and we left the call. Not a good day.

Right from the start, things went downhill. We walked into the lobby and there was nobody at the front desk. We waited...and waited. After about 10-15 minutes, I was getting pretty agitated, so I noticed an office door and knocked. FINALLY, someone came out to help us. Not exactly the welcome you want when you arrive at a hotel! My dad is a Marriott Gold Elite member, and he didn't receive the greeting or recognition he would normally expect. On top of that, we were assigned a room on the first floor. When we finally got to our room, which was literally just around the corner from the front desk, part of the door immediately broke off. Not a great first impression! Things didn't improve once we got inside. The room was in pretty rough shape, and we were not impressed with its overall condition. I'll be including pictures so people can see for themselves what we encountered. The air conditioning was also a huge pain to set, and we struggled to get it working the way we wanted. The worst part, though, was the noise. There were kids running up and down the hallways, being extremely loud and obnoxious, and nobody seemed to do anything about it. It made it incredibly difficult to relax and enjoy our stay. It went on for hours even during sleep hours. Given how close our room was to the front desk, you would think someone might have noticed what was going on and stepped in, but apparently not. Overall, this hotel was a complete letdown. Between the frustrating check-in, lack of recognition for a returning loyalty member, broken door, disappointing room condition, difficult air conditioning, and uncontrolled hallway noise, there really wasn't much to like. My advice? Either spend a little more and stay somewhere better, or save your money and find a motel. Based on our experience, this place wasn't worth it. We left feeling thoroughly unimpressed, and I wouldn't be in a hurry to return. The only two drawbacks were the lack of signage outside which made the hotel a bit difficult to find, and it was pretty noisy outside our room first thing in the AM. These are fairly minor quibbles, and I will definitely stay here again if I am in the area.

The room was clean, but the lighting was horribly glary and really needs to be replaced. There was no body lotion, which was annoying. Hanging in the lobby was unpleasant, as a raucous group was drinking and making it hard to chat with my friends. Breakfast wasn't included, and the bar wasn't staffed when I came down for hot water for my tea. (Props to the morning registration guy, who volunteered to come over to help those of us in line.) And... no recycling without apology or explanation on that property. Wish it could have been better.
