I was excited to have a themed room!! Wonderful evening however life happens and I woke up to an unexpected surprise on my part (woman problems). Understood they'd keep the deposit of $100 but they also charged me an additional $100. Outrageous. This is not the Hilton, these things happen. I called to inquire and EVERYONE WAS RUDE and passed the buck!!! I'll never go back. This place has fallen off! The rooms need to be updated! The carpet, the night stands and OMG the bathroom. I literally had to close my eyes to avoid looking at the rust/grit/mildew! Yuck! There's no way in hell I'd walk on that carpet without footwear. In the sunlight you can see how filthy the carpet really is!!! The best amenity is the Jacuzzi. The last time we were here it didn't work. We called the manager and he behaved like he had an attitude!!! No apologies and he made zero attempt to make it up to us. We tried them again and we booked the Manhattan. The bathroom was full of unsightly rust, carpet dirty and the fireplace wasn't even turned on! We called the front desk and was told the owners won't turn the fireplace on til the end of the month! So we paid to have the fireplace and they won't turn it on??? This place is so cool! Perfect instagrammable aesthetic. Has a retro feel for sure which is exactly what i was looking for. I stayed in the king tut suite and the manhattan suite for 1 night each. Check in was super easy and the rooms were very clean. The rooms are spacious and have a lot of mirrors! Jacuzzi tubs worked great and a small body wash is provided which makes bubbles in the water. Showers in the bathrooms are also spacious. Its a great experience if you're a couple but also if you just want to treat yourself!!! I got here by train, its a 20 min walk from the cherry hill station or a 5 min cab. There is also a diner nearby that delivers and they have vegan options! BED BUGS!!!!! Earlier this year we stayed in the natural cave room, leaving with welts from bed bug bites. I know they are from bed bugs because last year I was bitten up by bed bugs at my friends house. Same exact experience. Stay away from this place. I had to bring my review here because on Google, the owner responded taking 0 accountability and accused me of getting bit from somewhere else. I woke up in that motel bed with welts, they got warmer and itchier as days went on they grew larger! It took me a little over a month to fully heal from them! Due to this experience I threw out half of my belongings, and for months feared that I brought the bed bugs home from feather nest inn home with me. They could stay dormant without feeding for months so I was on edge terrified. It is so HURTFUL that the owners response was that disheartening. We paid money and drove a long way to support their business. The least they could do is not insult me! I hope this place burns to the ground from failure. read more

Any "themed" hotels I've found were typically fairly expensive so for the value Feather Nest offers I have to say it's a really nice place to visit and enjoy. Would I return? Absolutely!! The Good: What I really liked about the place is that my room looked pretty much as pictured on the website. Room was pretty clean with very minor spots of wear or aging (i.e. very minor pealing wall paper) but nothing that would be a deal breaker. The jacuzzi was very clean and fun to use, bathroom was really large and bed was really good. Even though when you arrive you might think, "Omg this place doesn't look very good" but it's not bad at all. Bathroom toiletries were really cool to see toothbrushes provided. The Not So Good: Lobby to check in feels like I'm visiting the worst neighborhood in NJ with presumably bullet proof glass windows that made me wonder should I have left NYS unarmed! Initially the "feel" of check in didn't feel welcoming due to the glass windows but the staff eased my mind as they were super nice! For a two day stay the housekeeping staff were nice enough to tidy up but they did forget to give me more toilet paper so I had to conserve and ration out what TP I did have left in the room. No microwave in rooms and no small coffee pots in the room to get my coffee fix. Also, power outlets were lacking in the room I was in so I had to move furniture around and unplug lamps to charge phones, wifi portable speaker, etc. More wall outlets would have been useful. Overall I really like this place and certainly would return in the future. If you plan on visiting just keep in mind that you are visiting what I consider a really nice budget hotel offering really neat themed rooms. So as long as you don't come expecting a 5 star Starwood brand then you'll enjoy yourself visiting the Feather Nest. Have fun & pack some lube!! Lol!! read more

Definitely in need of a revamp and a deep clean but we had a blast staying here. Treasure island was exactly what we had hoped for.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay. It's a motel, not a hotel, and like the other reviewers said, it had some sketchy vibes. The room was clean enough, we had a nice, romantic time together. One pro tip, bring your own toiletries! The soap that was provided is not great for sensitive skin. But I distress. Overall I'd say 3-4 stars for a decent side of the road motel. However its my experience after our stay that's lead me to giving the motel such a low star rating. When checking in, the front desk clerk asked for my ID and credit card. They never returned my drivers license to me. My mistake, I should have double checked. Or their mistake, they should have given my ID back. But not a big deal. I called the hotel a few days later, after I realized my DL was missing. The clerk who answered the phone seemed annoyed I would call. But I get that, customers are annoying. Once they located my ID, I told them I live a few hours away and asked if they could put my ID in the hotel's outgoing mail. Flat out told me "no" almost with a chuckle and said "we don't mail things to guests" and when I offered to venmo or PayPal for the inconvenience, they said I would have to speak to the manager. However, they informed me the manager is not available. And that he wouldn't be available until a few days from now "at least" but I could call back then and talk to him. Great, but until then, I guess I'm SOL. I get this is a budget motel, but I've never stayed at a place that wouldn't mail small misplaced personal items to guests. I always assumed that's standard practice. To blow me off was rude and to punt the issue to an absentee manager is/was incredibly annoying! However, I noted the manager Joe always responds to bad Yelp reviews. Not sure I can really recommend a motel where customer service is conducted over an app. But here we are! We have gone to NYC the past few years in July but since that's not an option this year we looked for a place with a tub. Knowing this would be cheesy we chose the Tahitian Hut. The room definitely needs updating, no one has carpet these days. And there is some mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. But the room itself was clean, as was the tub and I spent at least 5.5 hours in it all together. There is a lot of detail to the theme, think miniature golf decor. It's a motel with a theme, and a 3 on yelp means I'm a fan, it's not like we expected 5 stars. We would definitely come back to work our way through the different themes. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE. HUMAN TRAFFICKING. SERIOUSLY DO NOT STAY HERE. My friends and I had to spend the night BARRICADED in our rooms after someone tried to break into one of them. The absolute disregard from the front desk prompted us to call the police, which is apparently such a common occurrence there that the front desk had no recollection of it happening when we went to complain about it the next morning and request our money back. We were only given our money back for the night we had yet to stay with not even an apology for our experience the night prior. Our accounts of WITNESSING what I can only describe as human trafficking and non-guests coming by to jiggle door handles to see what if rooms were open, and then GOING INSIDE ROOMS THAT HAPPENED TO BE, went COMPLETELY DISREGARDED by the "manager" Nicole (who had the audacity to simply say "no" when I told her they seem to have a human trafficking problem without even asking WHY I thought that). The rooms had not been cleaned, open bottles of alcohol were strewn about, forehead prints and finger prints on the mirrors, LITERAL MOSQUITO LARVA IN THE "FOUNTAIN" BY THE BATHTUB (it's March btw, too cold for mosquitos outside which means that room had it's own fully sustained mosquito ecosystem contained inside) and black mold on the shower head. Stains EVERYWHERE, and the room itself looks nothing like the photos. We were offered another room, but before we could even accept, we were put in extreme danger and had a man we had seen going in and out of various rooms on the block try to break in. No, he did not think he had the wrong room.--we made eye contact with this slime as he was going in and out of other hotel rooms, and saw him exit the premise IN HIS CAR (meaning he was not a guest) when he overheard us calling the police through the door. Please, for your own safety. DO. NOT. STAY. HERE. There is dangerous, seedy activity happening that the management is aware of and does not care about. Will be going through my credit card company to reject the charge for this stay as FRAUD because this is not what I paid for... after calling three times to try to speak to someone from management who gives a flock. There is more, but from the mouth of their own front desk agent, Stephanie, "no one is going to care." (Ps thanks for your help girl by pretending you didn't say that when your boss confronted you I hope you find better employment) Edit: The owner's feedback is that because no one else reported the activity my three friends and I did, it could not have happened, and that "if we were so scared why didn't we leave" and "did we have video of it". Thank you for the added bit of misogyny and victim blaming. And they blocked me on facebook so I could not share my review there Edit edit: me and my friends are still sick from breathing in black mold, dust, dirt and dander all night. All l can say is wow. What an adventure. We only stayed here for one night. We also agreed that this would be the perfect place to come back for our anniversary. There is a mall very close by with several nice restaurants. With also a AMC movie theater. I couldn't give it 5 stars for several reasons. The breakfast they provide is Continental. First let me start off by saying this is not a Hotel but a Motel. Now that's not necessarily a bad thing but just be aware that there is no elevators what so ever. Some of the Fantasy rooms are located on the top level so you do have to go up stairs. We stayed in the Blue lagoon. Which was Beautiful. They had the fireplace and music playing upon entering the room. I thought that added a nice touch to it. The room had a nice size jacuzzi tub that could fit two people comfortably. The room was nice and clean. They also provided the bubble bath gel and towels for the jacuzzi. I was not feeling the bath gel. It had a aroma that l couldn't identify. That's not exactly what I expected. I think it should have been something with a more pleasant smell to it. Did it provide the bubbles needed yes. Would l use it again. No l would bring my own. The room also provided free HBO and free adult movies. Woww not exactly use to the free adult movies but that's cool too. Also this is for Adults only. They also stated only two adults per room. I wonder how many people actually listen to that lol. So let's start off with the perks first. The room provided a bottle of free champagne and two beautiful glasses. They also provided snacks and bottled water. This was no iron to availability but that's a small issue. . Just remember to pack accordingly. Also no microwave but it includes a mini frig. The themed music was a nice touch and the flat screen TV worked perfectly. They also provided you with two New toothbrushes. I thought that was nice especially if you forgot to bring yours. No toothpaste though but l'm not complaining. I truly did enjoy the room so did my husband. We definitely plan on returning and checking out one of the other fantasy or Romantic themed rooms in the future . They do have regular suites but why would you even want that after all they have to offer. The bed itself was very comfortable and provided a good night's rest. I do recommend checking this place out. We live in the Maryland area and it was only a two hour drive and much closer than the Poconos. I hate leaving negative reviews but after the experience we had at this hotel, I had to warn others to steer clear. I have had no previous experience in Cherry Hill, NJ before staying here. Meaning I assumed from the photos that it was a nice place. Oh, how wrong I was to assume. My husband and I wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary in their pagoda themed room for a night away from our kids. The pictures for the room looked so nice and even our photos from this room turned out great. However, the photos didn't show the worn out headboard, dingy bathroom, worn-out bed duvet, and horrible cigarette stench. I was aware that this place had a different manager who used to allow smoking in all the rooms, but heard it was no longer allowed to smoke in the rooms. They even took a $100 deposit when we arrived that we had to wait till 7 am to get back to ensure we wouldn't smoke inside the rooms. Unfortunately, It still reeked as if someone was just in there chain-smoking away. Granted it was otherwise clean and the Jacuzzi tub worked perfectly. They also had a plethora of adult channels on the tv and free continental breakfast. I wish those few pros made this trip worth it but the entire night the room above us had four people inside, coming in and out to smoke, and running their tub all night long. There wasn't a single quiet moment after 8 pm. We tried to make the best of it until we woke up to leave. Only to discover our passenger side back window had been smashed in and most of our belongings in the cup holder and back seat stolen. When speaking to the manager after they called a while after we had left, it was someone on a bike off the street that probably targeted our car for being at the end of the parking lot. They did not offer to pay for the damage or try to discount what we paid. Not that we would ever go back, but it would have been nice of them to try to rectify this crappy stay. All in all, do not take a chance and stay here. Our first and last time adventuring to themed rooms that are not part of the Cove Haven Resorts has backfired and will never happen again. Seriously, spend the extra travel and money to go somewhere more reputable and safe. The two stars is for the super nice pictures and the Jacuzzi. Everything else was terrible Update to say that the owner reached out to us and refunded our stay and reimbursed us for the window replacement. He clarified a lot of the policies and apologized for our stay. I feel slightly more inclined to raise the review, but still unsure if I would ever go back. Stay at your own educated risk. read more

When we arrived the check-in time had changed from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Once we checked-in and proceeded to our room we found it dirty and had not been cleaned after the previous guest left, there was soiled towels and trash left on the floor from the previous guest, bed sheets were soiled, room was absolutely a disappointment. We went back to the check-in clerk and requested the room be cleaned but was told there was no one available to clean the room and was offered another room. We were provided a choice to look at two other themes or cancel our stay. We decided two look at the two other themes but one of two options, the key would not work and the check-in clerk informed us that there was no one available to fix the door so our only option was to take room with a theme we really didnt't want or to cancel. We traveled over two hours to get to this place so we went with the room that had a theme we really didn't t want. This was a disappointing experience and will never return. Made reservations about a month ago for Saturday into Sunday. Check in is normally 4pm but we were able to check in at 2pm which was perfect. Check in was very easy. We reserved the fantasy theme suite called Blue Lagoon. As I opened the door I was pleasantly surprised. It was adorable. There was a complimentary bottle of champagne with two glasses we were able to keep. There was also a fresh red rose on the bed and one on the hot tub.The king size bed had leopard print blanket. There were trees and birds and sea life. It was adorable. There is a hot tub in the room as well. I started exploring the room. The bathroom was a good size with a nice big shower with seats in it. I love a shower where you can just sit and relax. There were a few small problems, the music didn't work, the room sink was leaking and the freezer was iced over. They also offered a continental breakfast which we took advantage of before we checked out. Overall we really enjoyed ourself and plan on going back again. read more

TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION. My fiance and i stayed here for two nights for our anniversary and we will never return. upon check in we were notified our reservation had been cancelled with out notice, the receptionist couldnt even find the cancellation email on their end telling me it was a no notice cancellation. We've been planning this trip since November so it was very discouraging. the room we desired (Jungle Room) wasnt available which resulted in us cancelling the professional photoshoot we had booked for that night. the receptionist assured us our room would be available the next day and that we could leave our things in our temporary room (Desert Tent) and that theyd call us when the Jungle Room was ready for us. we returned at 4pm to being locked out of our room with no missed calls. When we got to the lobby they informed us we would have to stay in the Desert Tent room again since we did not remove our items before 12 for cleaning. I tried to explain what the other receptionist explained to me the day prior and all she could say was 'im not sure why shed tell you that'. they then said they called me 3 times to prevent any issues and i told them i have no missed calls. upon hearing that the receptionist says they called my room 3 times and that they never took my phone number when re-entering my reservation. when i asked they had no reason for not gathering all of my details when re-entering my reservation. begrudgingly we headed back to the undesired room to relax to find our whirlpool wasnt working. we called the front desk multiple times and even had them walk us through rebooting the whirlpool but it still didnt work. they refused to send someone over to look at it. its at this point i am extremely dissatisfied with my stay and i request a refund. they refuse to issue a refund and said i must take up all my complaints with management in the morning (they leave at 4pm and do not have an emergency line). When i got the chance to express my concerns to management the next day they still refused to issue me a refund and only offered a $50 off coupon towards my next stay, which doesnt even cover 1/2 of a room with the whirlpool that we'd previously missed out on. but i will never give them my business again. This inn seems to only be concerned about revenue and not building meaningful relationships with guests that turn into repeated business. I would not recommend this inn ESPECIALLY if you are new to booking hotels. Absolutely unacceptable communication between employees and even worse communication when it comes to guests, not to mention the drapes in the room are nailed to the walls and have many questionable stains on them. read more

From the bow of the boat as the bed to the tv that swings to the front of the hot tub. The working waterfall and fireplace. Mirrors everywhere you look and free champagne and snacks. This place is a gem. We had the best night and cannot wait to go back to try another themed room. It was so fun and super super clean. The staff is awesome and lots of local places to eat. So my husband and myself decided to book a night in one of the theme rooms "The Blue Lagoon". When you first drive up to the place I must say it looks like a hotel you would see on a highway. When checking in my husband said the receptionist was very nice. Upon parking and entering the room we were in was up on the top floor which was a bit hard for me being as though I have back issues. NOW I am only mentioning this because I am not sure if they have an elevator. So if you have an issue with several steps you may want to make sure to call to make your reservation to assure you are on the bottom floor! When entering the room it's cute and decorated like a forest or jungle. What I will say is that the picture online was a bit different from the actual room. 1 I am not one for carpet in hotels it kind of grosses me out a bit. Online it shows hardwood! WELP no hardwood just carpet. The carpet also had a pretty big what looked to be a burn hole or something in it. There shows a sitting area with adorable red chairs and a wicker table. Nope just a little table with two pizza store type round chairs. The wallpaper in the bathroom needs some serious fixing it is literally peeling off the walls and under the TV the decor was literally missing! Now I only mention this because it is a theme type room and if you're looking for some spice LOL it shows a full mirrored ceiling above the bed. NOPE just a long rectangular mirror that only shows from the knees down! ‍‍ Again only mention these simply because they are NOT what is shown in the picture so I was a little taken back. The fridge could have used a wipe down inside as well! We surely appreciated the complimentary wine! They also have snacks there if you like. Now the whirlpool tub is awesome! The best feature I must say. Awesome way to relax and unwind! They also supply all toiletries as far as soaps, shampoo, toothbrushes and toothpaste if you don't bring your own. Now I only posted pics the way I did because when my husband mentioned about the pics being different than the actual layout of the room the man at the desk ( not the same as when checked in) stated it was the same and pulled out a book with the actual layout we had. We are going by what WE SEE ONLINE not a BOOK you have at your desk! Please don't question whether we booked the right room we are speaking of or not. Overall enjoyable! My fiance and I were determined to get out of town for the weekend. Something super cheesey was the idea. After lots of searching, we found the feather nest inn. We booked the space odysessy without hesitation. Seemed like it was something we would thoroughly enjoy! We arrived at the hotel and I got kinda nervous. It looks like your typical motel. I turned to my fiance and said "let's hope for the best. This may be really bad." To our pleasure, the girl at the front desk was very nice, and had excellent customer service skills. She quickly checked us in. We find our room, and I have to say - we were impressed. It was a lot bigger than we imagined, especially the Jacuzzi tub. The room was very very clean, and we absolutely adored the theme. Not to mention - complimentary champagne and roses. I enjoyed my time. I would give this a 5 star review but do have one complaint - the bed was way too firm for my liking. That won't stop us from returning in the future though. Need to verify with someone if the change I requested went through and to confirm the reservations before I get there but cannot get an answer either through email or phone. A good range of adult channels on the flat screen which can be rotated and seen from anywhere in the room. Housekeeping very thorough. They have other themed rooms which we got to peek in at. Unique rooms for sure. We stayed Tahitian Hut theme room. The wine and snacks in the room were nice; the jacuzzi tub was huge; mirrors everywhere; the TV had plenty of channels and was on a swivel wall mount; and the room was very quiet. The room was clean and the decor unique to say the least. The room had a slight but constant musty/mildewy odor to it and a couple of the light switches and the switch for the music didn't work. We'll probably stay again (in a different room) in the hopes that annoying odor isn't in all the theme rooms. read more

Was looking for a "sexy" place to spend the night out of town with my girl, and we had both heard of this place so decided to check it out. Stayed in the FRENCH KISS suite - decor was dated but seemed clean. Several ash trays in the room, but smelled "clean." Bathroom was spacious and very clean. Bed (mattress) was well worn, and bedspread had several stains. Several adult channels - 42' flat panel w direct tv. Mirrors everywhere, which is always fun. Had "sexy jazz" music on demand by flipping a switch - Refrigerator wasn't very cold but hot tub filled quickly and worked well. Lot of traffic in the parking lot from 3-5 AM - noisy - woke me up a couple times (yes we actually slept some) i think our neighbor was entertaining guests all night. All in all, it was a decent stay and the price was right, but my expectations were a lot higher from what i had heard from others - maybe the other themed suites are classier and more updated. read more

Stayed here for two day and had a great time. Stayed in the Manhattan Room, which was clean and beautiful. Loved the heart shaped tub/jacuzzi and fireplace. The bed was comfortable and clean. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. It is located just off a main highway, and is close to anything else you could possibly want (food, alcohol, shopping and entertainment). The price was very reasonable for a two day getaway. My only complaint would be that one of the bedside lights was out and they didn't get around to fixing it before we left. I will definitely go again and fully recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway. read more

This hotel is so nice I went here over the weekend with my boyfriend and it was nice. The rooms were super clean no issue at all. The hot tub worked perfectly fine and the water was super hot and enjoyable. Mirrors on every angle which i absolutely loved. We slept too late for the breakfast but it was a great stay. We stayed in the theme room Manhattan and it was perfect for the weekend i had planned. Definitely going back. read more

My bf booked this hotel for my bday we got the blue lagoon , a little old looking but it was ok , 5 am I woke up to bed begs biting the crap out of my arm I called the front desk and told them they gave me a refund I was so scared I was gonna bring a bedbug home smh never again read more

I don't think I will ever be back here. The rooms are dingy, dirty, and old. I went thru 3 rooms before I just picked the less of the evils. They all smelled like smoke and made me feel nauseous. The jacuzzi is so old it looked dirty. I will post pic so you guys can see...yuck! We asked the front desk for a cup of bleach and cleaned the tub and toilet ourselves. The toilet had a sanitary strap on it saying it has been sanitized yet we found a hair on the toilet when we lifted the lid to clean it ourselves. So gross! Whole in the wall by front door and stains in the carpet...smh...Not worth the price! Complained about tub and told people at front desk and they just told me it's because they are old. I never knew discoloration was black....and finding a hair on an alleged "sanitized" toilet made me glad I grabbed some bleach from the front desk. I only stayed the whole night because my boyfriend planned this for me for my birthday because I really wanted a jacuzzi. He cleaned the whole room for me with the bleach provided to ease my discomfort for the night. He shouldn't have to do that! After all this, you would think they would offer some sort of compensation or even an apology, but no, nothing at all. Not worth $145. Update your rooms to match your prices or lower your prices. The concept is cute and romantic but the dirtiness and lack of customer service ruined my whole experience. I do not recommend. read more
