This is the easiest five-star rating I've ever given. Bruce is simply a guy who does what he promises to do, for the price he agrees to charge, a rarity in the moving industry. It wasn't like he didn't have challenges at this time. His growing company is made up of family and friends. Two family members had to spend time in the hospital. Covid-19 knocked some employees out and caused others to be reassigned. The employee who so expertly loaded our truck and was assigned to drive it from Sun City to Roseburg, Oregon, ended up being sent to Arkansas instead. Other companies might have told us our delivery was going to be delayed. Bruce drove the truck up himself in two days, delivering our stuff on the day he'd promised. He had to add to his costs by hiring a couple of movers in Roseburg to help him unload, but do you think he hit us with an extra charge when he arrived? No way! He took the cashiers check for the amount agreed to in our contract, and even handed the tip I gave him to the other guys. As for our stuff, of course every single box and piece of furniture arrived. Bruce's crew loaded it all into a U-Haul truck and locked it. It went straight to Oregon without ever being unloaded or mixed with anyone else's stuff. It also arrived in perfect condition, even a couple of rickety antiques. They wrapped the furniture in thick blankets, then shrink-wrapped it. We'd packed our own U-Haul boxes and have yet to find anything in them that was damaged. Well, okay, a plastic reflector was knocked off my bicycle, along with a plastic handle on a laundry basket. They'll probably pop right back on, but Bruce said his guys take it seriously if things don't arrive perfectly. I call it close enough to perfection. This was so much better than the big national movers who send your stuff all over the country, mixing it with other partial loads, and making you wait weeks for it to arrive, with some stuff lost and damaged. Yet Bruce is very competitive with his pricing. If he is booked up, he won't hesitate to refer you to a couple of other top movers in the Phoenix area, but New Beginnings should definitely be at the top of your list. read more

In the middle of March 2025 I accepted a new position in Southern California that required almost immediate relocation from Phoenix. Put a relocation project out on Yelp and was met with quotes ranging between $5K to $10K dollars with the short 2.5 week turnaround (for a 1 bed apartment move). I'd been unemployed for several months and had very limited income at that point. One of the Yelp businesses that was most affordable $2.5$-3K was not available on the dates needed, and gave me a personal referral to NBMS. That referral changed everything about this transition! Management at NBMS were very kind and caring, upstanding the extreme amount of stress I was dealing with. This review is a bit late in coming as I've been busy unpacking and getting settled! First, The minute I met Bruce, I felt like I didn't need to worry about anything. Rarely have I met someone with integrity on a scale like this. He's honest and dedicated and I knew he was the right person to handle a rather complicated move I had from Phoenix to the Puget Sound with one household in Phoenix and the other in Chandler. The guys he had do the loading were all stellar, but the two who actually did the move, Timothy and Brian were like having your friends, you know, the really strong guys with the trucks move you. Family doesn't move you this well. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again, in fact, I will recommend them to anyone and everyone I know that's moving. They get it done and do the job with professionalism and humor. Not everything went perfectly with this job, it was huge! But these guys know how to tack, how to think out of the box. 6 star quality at 3 star pricing. Bruce & Dave showed up for a quote, dressed in business attire. Wow! They were so genuine and straight forward, but what struck me the most was their patience with all of our questions. No pressure, no passive aggressive push. Just patience. So, we hired them. Their wrapping & packing exceeded our expectations, and their stacking all belongings in our garage for our incoming Pod was top notch! As we watched their work, my husband & I asked if they'd be open to a cross country move. They agreed and saved us more $ than I want to admit to. We called them the very next morning to ask if they'd bring a contract to review and put in another 1-2 hrs of work. They showed up, again, right on the dot and helped. Bruce was so nice over the phone, answering all my questions on the initial contact. While not the least expensive quote that I got, they certainly were far from the most expensive and Bruce's personable manner won me over. Dave and his partner arrived early, assessed the situation, which was a move of my things from a friend's garage to a nearby storage unit, and got to work. They were patient as I checked which boxes would go and which would stay as well as moving things that were in the way. I really needed to know if what I had would fit into my storage unit as soon as he could tell me. About half way through he was able to assure me it would fit and it did with room to spare. They neatly placed things that were not going against the wall of the garage before we left. On the storage end they worked with me to organze the boxes making sure anything fragile was on top. New Beginnings Moving Solutions moved my Mom from Green Valley, AZ to Cape Cod, MA in March 2022. They are absolutely the BEST. My Mom has moved 11 times in her life and this was her best experience. When Bruce and Bethany came to the house to give a quote they were very sweet and patient with Mom who is very anxious and they made her feel at ease. On the packing day there were 7 people there. What do I like about the the business? Question should be, "What don't I like about this business?" They are the best! Right from the beginning I felt 'well taken care of.' Bruce answered all my questions about how and what they'd do for me as we moved forward. His word is exactly what happened, even went above and beyond without extra charges. You can trust these guys with all your stuff!! We got both their packing and moving service. The whole crew from the owner Bruce to his team are polite and were fun to be around. They take great care wrapping up furniture and pack fragile stuff really well. They moved us from Chandler, AZ to NC, an over 2k mile trip! It's impossible to have a smooth ride across that whole distance with uneven roads/potholes/etc and one of my TV's did get broken on the journey over but the owner Bruce took care of it and replaced the TV! Like I said, great people! They were also able to get us in in a very last minute move which is something we were having a hard time getting given our short notice. They went above and beyond!
