The…read moredudes weren't always super friendly and often smelled pretty bad, but they were always on time and never (in my recollection) screwed up a delivery. A couple times I had questions about charges on the invoice and the accounting guy was quick to sort things out. The phone dispatchers are way nicer than, say, the average person you talk to when calling a cab. Fleetfoot serves the greater Seattle area by bike, car and truck. Many delivery options available including same day, 2 hour, and Rush. Reasonable charges; you can set up an account or make it a one time deal; they accept cash, card, or check. I think they can actually deliver anywhere in the state, just not in one hour! Orders can be placed ahead of time or as needed. They will deliver just about anything (including sealed alcoholic beverages) except meals, hazardous/illegal materials, precious gems and framed artwork. Regular hours of operation are M - F 7:30am - 5:30pm but after hours deliveries can be arranged. Some of my fondest memories of having an office job are from watching the punk bike messengers and suit - clad businessmen eyeing each other warily in the elevator . Good times. These guys are probably more honest than your average businessman, so for all your courier needs I highly recommend Fleetfoot.

The quote was still higher but I agreed bc I liked their website, for example I liked the drone image of the truck driving across the Tacoma Bridge with the colors of the green bridge and navy blue ocean below matching the colors of the logo on the truck. Then two days later Jonathan called and asked if I could move on Sat instead of Fri. I said no it has to be Friday, and he said he was double booked but could still do it Friday if it was the afternoon. I asked him if he booked someone after booking me and if so they should get bumped to later not me. He said his lead mover was being put under for surgery on thursday and might not be ready on Friday. I said I was concerned about having someone lift heavy objects if they just had surgery the day before especially if they had to be put under for it. I also worried the mover might still be bleeding if not fully healed yet. Jonathan said in that case he would send 3 movers instead of 2 but still for the price of 2. I said okay and agreed to Fri afternoon even though I preferred the morning. Coast Movers then texted me asking to confirm I was willing to pay extra for three movers. I called Jonathan and said no that was not our agreement. Jonathan sounded angry when I asked reasonable questions like whether he booked me before double booking the other person, or why he was sending me someone recovering from surgery. He interupted and said he's been doing it 18 years and was not going to let me tell him how to do his job, and threatened to cancel altogether. Then he hung up on me. Unprofessional, unreliable, incompetent, and possibly deceptive.
