Chicken Caesar Salad
Dominique D.

Never on Sunday was a college staple for me. Got me through some great times!! Late nights. As of recently, the food quality has been 50/50. I think one should stick to easy eats at this restaurant; wraps, pizza slices, subs etc. The service is always great. The staff are super welcoming. During the week you will see many professionals in the space and other neighbors and on weekends it's your bar and party crowd. The salad I had today was not great for the 24 dollar price point with drink included. I thought my salad would have more than just lettuce but unfortunately it was just lettuce croutons and chicken. It was really disappointing. I'll know now for the future to stick to what I'm used to at a more reasonable price point and make my salads at home.

Stopped by Never on Sunday for a late night bite. It was a Friday night as they stay open until 1am. I got a slice of cheese pizza and a juice. Inside the restaurant was clean and so was the bathroom. Adequate seating it you decide to dine in. There was a bit of a wait for the food but it was fresh and hot. There was one part of the pizza that had a weird after taste. Can't quite describe it but it was only the crust part. The sauce and cheese of the pizza was good. Customer service was on point. I would return but would probably order something else on the menu.

This pizza and Greek place was across from our hotel while staying in Baltimore. They are open late, so we went over and grabbed some slices to go to take back to our room for late dinner after exploring. We got a slice of cheese and a Hawaiian slice. The person taking our order was friendly and it was a short wait. Both slices were good. The Hawaiian had a generous amount of toppings. The cheese and sauce were good, crust had a good chew. They were a good size, perfectly foldable. Overall, it's a nice, casual spot to grab some pizza and I'll return to try other things as well.

Horrible service! The meat was dried out and hard. This was a very undesirable meal and very unpleasant to the taste.

Very horrible service and the meat was burnt and dried out. This was not consumable for anyone to eat. By far the worst takeout service I've ever experienced

This is a no frills place where you can find a variety of comfort foods from pizza to gyros to fried snacks. I ordered the buffalo chicken pizza which was a gigantic slice and very filling. The pizza had a generous serving of buffalo sauce coated chicken. Service was fast and easy to order.

Stumbled across this place on a Saturday night while walking around in Mt. Vernon. It's clean, welcoming, and was bustling despite the late hour. It's a no frills place, exactly what you need on a late night :) Also love that they are open till 1am! We tried their greek gyro wrap and greek fries - both were yummy and filling enough to be shared between two. The wrap, fries and a drink cost $23.96 The staff were very friendly and helpful despite it being busy a hour. We will definitely be back. Please continue to stay open late into the night!!

Perfect spot to grab pizza and wings ! There's a lot on the menu but I haven't been disappointed!

It was rather late on a Friday night and me and my friend were starving! We decided to pick up pizza near his place. He claims to order from Never On Sunday all the time, so I agreed. Did a GrubHub order for pick-up. Said 20 minutes for the pizza to get ready and that's exactly how long it took! We waited in the car for 10 minutes and he waited inside for 10 minutes until the pizza was done. There's street parking right in front of the place. We ordered an extra large pizza and for ~$15?! Don't mind if I do! What a steal for a huge pizza that could last us 1-2 days. Which was partially true. We finished 75% of the pizza that night. The pizza isn't anything extraordinary, but big slices for smaller bucks. I'm knocking this review down to 4 stars because they aren't actually open on Sunday's! I feel as if lazy Sundays would mean pizza.

Representative slices of gyros meat.

If you have…read morenever been here for lunch or dinner, you are missing something special and something quintessential Baltimore. We popped in for an early dinner on a Saturday night, arriving a little around 4:00 PM. Our friends had already arrived. Tammy, our server, had a table for us in just a few minutes. Tammy and Joyce have been with Samos for as long as I have been coming here. They both have great personalities and are very attentive to all of their customer's needs. Samos is a BYOB with a corkage fee, which was fine for us. We started with a cup of chicken noodle soup and a bowl of avgolemono soup (their classic Greek egg-lemon-chicken soup). Both soups were prepared fresh, delicious and filling. For the main course, each couple shared the Souvlaki Platter with two skewers of steak accompanied by roasted vegetables, tzatziki, and a Greek salad with their famous house dressing, along with grilled pita wedges. One platter had potatoes and one had rice. The steaks were cooked medium and seasoned perfectly. The platters were huge and more than enough for two people. Our friends decided to share a rice pudding for dessert that was sweet and creamy. Tammy suggested that we try a Galaktoboureko that she would make for us. Oh, my goodness, we were completely blown away with this dessert. It was a delectable semolina cream custard wrapped in filo, baked, and topped with honey syrup. We are definitely going to order this again. Don't let the long name intimate you - order this dessert - your taste buds will thank you. Thank you for a wonderful dinner with great service as usual!

Our meals were delicious and fulfilling. You can tell the food is well crafted. The lamb souvlaki was super tender and the gyro was one of the best that I've had in the area. The space feels like you're taking a small step into Greece. Will definitely return!

It's a kid friendly place too given that you have a well-behaved one :) Food-wise, this place REALLY impressed me. Everything tasted SUPER FRESH and well made, and I actually love that the dishes are pretty no-frills and let the ingredients speak for themselves. If you appreciate good ingredients and simple, well-executed food, this is definitely the spot for you. If you're looking for dishes loaded with sauce, MSG, or a ton of extras, this probably isn't your place. Everything here feels more focused on letting the ingredients speak for themselves. I usually can't eat feta cheese, but theirs honestly changed my mind. It was probably the best feta I've ever had. It's on the pricier side, but this is easily one of the best meals I've had in the DMV lately. Already know I'll be coming back!

It was ready when it said it would be and everyone was kind in handing it off and letting me know where the utensil and napkins are if needed. The restaurant is cute. I would say this is more of a 3.5, rather than a 4 star review, continue reading ... The restaurant is beautifully decorated inside and out, with blue lights throughout. We loved that! We sat outside and were happy that the patio area wasn't very hot and that the nice large umbrellas protected us from the sun and were lit up when it got dark. We started with Saganaki, which included pita. It was flambed table side and delicious, we all loved it. We also had Calamari, I don't eat it but husband and daughter really enjoyed it. For entrees, husband had the special (filet mignon w/crab cake and shrimp on top), that came with mash potatoes and veggies. The steak was good but undercooked, the crab cake was good. Daughter had the pasta, she didn't really love it. I had the lamb shank with orzo. I don't usually like lamb but it was very tender and didn't have the aftertaste that usually comes with lamb. The service was very good, waiter was very attentive, replenished waters often and made good suggestions. Although we liked the restaurant, we felt that as a Greek restaurant there should be more Greek styled pork, chicken dishes. We also felt that some items were overpriced, specialty dish was $75, rib eye was $68, lamb shank was $55, roasted chicken was $39, etc. We will not return for another dinner, but might consider going for lunch to get gyros and Saganaki.
