From the moment I walked in, this team led with genuine empathy and care. They understood my anxiety as a first-timer to physical therapy and spent real time with me, patiently explaining everything and addressing my concerns. Every staff member was kind, attentive, and professional. No rushing, no coldness, just people who genuinely wanted to help. What amazed me most was how they shifted my mindset. I came in desperate and worried. I left feeling optimistic about my race. They didn't just treat the immediate pain and tightness. They gave me exercises and stretches to take home so I could continue caring for myself and prevent tightening up before race day. This team doesn't just fix injuries. They empower you with knowledge and a real plan. Their combination of skill, kindness, and genuine care is rare. They turned what could have been a disaster into an experience of real support and hope. If you're injured and need someone to believe in your recovery, go here. This team will too.

The team helped me make meaningful progress through a combination of strengthening exercises, stretching techniques, and hands-on massage therapy. When I first started, the pain and immobility were really impacting my ability to use my arm normally, and I'm very happy with how much stronger and more functional it became throughout therapy. The combination of hands-on treatment and targeted exercises gave me tools I can continue using to prevent future issues. The only part of my experience that I wasn't particularly fond of was feeling like there was an effort to upsell me on additional TENS/electrotherapy treatments. I would have preferred that those options simply be presented as part of the available treatment choices without feeling like an additional sales pitch. Overall, I'm very grateful for the care I received and the progress I made. If you're dealing with an injury or mobility issue, especially as an active athlete, I would definitely recommend giving Align Physical Therapy a try.

So I have health insurance that I'm already paying for and they said they would accept but went back on their word so they can bill me two times the amount. I was told I had 1 session left, when I had at least 9 more left per my doctor and insurance company. They told me there was an issue with scheduling for me and they "will call me" when they have it resolved. Well shame on me for waiting for that, cause when I called them finally, they told me my remaining approved sessions were declined. Again, doctor and insurance both said I still had some left, and even went out of my way to get a new referral sent. I even called scheduling myself and they said I was good to go. The location said otherwise. They told me I was discharged, and I found out WEEKS after the supposed discharged date. No email discharge info, no mail discharge info, and even my doctor and insurance got nothing. And they wouldn't even say why. Next time I have an injury where I need physical therapy, even tho I really enjoyed the people helping me, I will never go to STP again. All the progress I had is gone and gotta start all over now.

I was willing to give it a whirl, especially since the alternative was popping pills like a human Pez dispenser. First, I chatted with Nichole, the Business Manager/receptionist, who was as nice as pie and well-versed in the labyrinthine world of insurance. Lindsey was my therapist, and she immediately put me at ease by outlining the game plan for the next few sessions. She presented treatment options with the finesse of a game show host--always giving me the chance to pass on the prizes if they made me uncomfortable. Keep in mind certain PT methods can be a tad painful, but keep going, it will get better!!! After weekly sessions and a mix of in-office wizardry, home exercises, and some diet tweaks (goodbye, junk food; hello, hydration!), my pain has dramatically improved. I'm still a work in progress, but I'm feeling like I'm getting pretty close to that elusive 100%. Lindsey is not just friendly and well-informed; she's the ultimate cheerleader. She even tossed in a book recommendation, "The Way Out" by Alan Gordon, which was the icing on my "cure cake." She's been a constant source of encouragement and support, making me feel like I'm part of a winning team on the road to recovery! Thank you so much to Lindsay and the amazing staff. Also. What I LOVE about this place is you only see your doctor. Not an assistant. Or a student. Or some new person every time. It's the same doctor. DOCTOR. Every. Single. time. And you're the only patient. It's not a room full of patients with one doctor like some places have it. Again. Call now. Get yourself on the wait-list it's the best decision you can make for yourself.

So I came back two more times once a month but the last time the straw that broke the camel's back, Nov 2023, that I was given a female therapist (spouse) who was supposed to be the best one in there. She knew her stuff but when she kept massaging me due to my pain, I kept telling her throughout the session that I am sensitive or please go light on me as we would talk so much; and the more she talked, the more she pressed so hard on me having medical issues that she would say 'sorry' every time then we keep talking and she keeps pressing harder and harder as a disabled military veteran. Her perception of 'light pressure' is different from my perception of 'light pressure' as I talked to Stephanie the next day about it. The next couple of days I was still hurting so I had to go get this pain taken care of. So, I decided to get my refund of $100 as it wasn't worth still hurting, at least partial or half of it, and the bank said I can only do whole refund. So I decided let's do this and then found out from the bank in person following up this issue through my bank that they stated from Advanced Manual Therapy response said I signed papers as to how treatment would go more like they're not responsible should something go wrong. I noticed there is nowhere or protocol policy stating that I didn't sign stating about not getting my refund, but this is what you get when you go to places like this where you get messed over and it went out of my pocket to get painful treatment.

The table was very comfortable (most Asian massage tables are too hard for me) and has a head cradle instead of a hole in the table. The staff that I met was very nice. The negative comments that I have read seem to be from people that are not knowledgeable about Asian massage spas. To address some of the negative comments: Almost all Asian spas that I have gone to ask for a "tip" upfront. It's why the advertised prices are so low. The $ that I paid, including the upfront tip, for a 90 minute massage was appropriate for an upscale place like this. If you are polite the people you talk to are nice to you too. From my experience with just about every Asian spa that I have visited they say "we are busy" when they don't have any availability at that time. It's because of their limited English, not because they are being rude. Most Asian spas don't have a receptionist. That's how they keep their prices low. It is common for your massage person to have to answer the phone or door during your massage. The only negative thing is that their advertised price, including what they quote over the phone, doesn't include the mandatory tip. If you walk in to make an appointment for a later time they tell you the full price upfront. As a Japanese Asian spa they do not do reflexology foot treatments (massages) From my experience in Japan it is customary for female staff to only massage male clients and male staff to massage female clients. It's not sexist. It's cultural.
