The table was very comfortable (most Asian massage tables are too hard for me) and has a head cradle instead of a hole in the table. The staff that I met was very nice. The negative comments that I have read seem to be from people that are not knowledgeable about Asian massage spas. To address some of the negative comments: Almost all Asian spas that I have gone to ask for a "tip" upfront. It's why the advertised prices are so low. The $ that I paid, including the upfront tip, for a 90 minute massage was appropriate for an upscale place like this. If you are polite the people you talk to are nice to you too. From my experience with just about every Asian spa that I have visited they say "we are busy" when they don't have any availability at that time. It's because of their limited English, not because they are being rude. Most Asian spas don't have a receptionist. That's how they keep their prices low. It is common for your massage person to have to answer the phone or door during your massage. The only negative thing is that their advertised price, including what they quote over the phone, doesn't include the mandatory tip. If you walk in to make an appointment for a later time they tell you the full price upfront. As a Japanese Asian spa they do not do reflexology foot treatments (massages) From my experience in Japan it is customary for female staff to only massage male clients and male staff to massage female clients. It's not sexist. It's cultural.

The original masseuse found the knots in my back, neck, shoulders, and left hip and went straight to work. But midway through the session, someone else entered the room and took over without warning. First off, her hands were freezing. Second, she was completely worthless--zero pressure, no deep tissue work at all, just loads of oil and light rubbing. She "worked" on my right leg, but did absolutely nothing to address the muscle tension. By the end of the session, I was drenched in oil and literally walking with a limp because my left leg had been properly massaged by the first person, but my right leg received zero actual treatment. To make matters worse, when my girlfriend (who had the same masseuse for her entire session) approached the manager about why my therapist was switched, the manager's excuse was: "Oh, because it was her turn." No apology whatsoever. The manager just casually said, "When he comes back, he can request the full session be with the original masseuse." There will not be a next time. Craig Maxfield is a therapist that I saw many years ago and I was grateful that my daughter (who is also in the profession) found he works there about three days a week! What a God send! He took absolutely amazing care of my particular aches and pains. This professional knows how to approach and read the body and stays in open communication while he is treating you, to make adjustments so that you are always comfortable. The therapy room, bathrooms and circulation are laid out efficiently and appointed in calming colours and decor to set the intention for healing and restoration. For 30 mins she just applied minimum pressure , no massage skills at all. Just press here press there. She turnt me over after 35 mins and did a neck massage for 5 mins and during that the cameras in the room Showed a gentleman come in the front door she spent a few mins looking into the camera the next thing I know she kinda touched my kegs and said we were done. She ran outside to another room came back gave me a water. I looked at my phone it said 8.45. I didn't get my full hour and I didn't feel I had a massage at all. Just a rub down with lotion. Very disappointed at the service. She wasn't rude but I could tell she rather massage a man. She was dressed low cut top, full face makeup ready to service.
