Kevin is really great about explaining to you what's gonna happen, step by step so there's no surprises. He first has you face down and then you inhale a scented oil to get your senses going, Then he goes to work checking on you periodically to ensure that a comfortable amount of pressure is being given making sure your body is at ease during your session. Oils are also used on your body which are very soothing and smell great. One of my favorite parts were the hot rock treatment. Rocks are heated to 170 degrees then cooled to the proper working temperature of 140 degrees and Kevin uses them to work your entire back region. After flipping around, Kevin did some work on my arms, hands, legs, and feet. Upon completion, Wifey and I swapped places, and I went in to finish off with a steam/shower...AHHHHHHHHH!!!! Two things I missed most during my pregnancy are 1.) Raw Fish and 2.) Deep Tissue/Trigger Point Massage by the best massage therapist I have ever encountered, Kevin the Awesome. I haven't seen Kevin for a massage in over 9 months, so after I had my daughter, I booked an appointment with Kevin for a 90 min massage. Kevin is now at Siena Neck and Back, right on Horizon Ridge and Sandy Ridge. The office is so comfy, clean and pristine, and very comfortable. Just a perfect place for that relaxation needed. I had my usual, the deep tissue/trigger point, followed by reflexology. When Kevin was done with my right side, it was like jello. My knots were massaged out. I can totally feel the difference between the massaged right side, to my stiff, knotty left side. Wow! When Kevin finished with my left side, my entire body felt so relaxed. Kevin offers several scents of aromatherapy for your choosing. I picked the Jasmine over the lavender, grapefruit, and eucalyptus for the massage. Also, you get to chose what station you want on Pandora for your session, how awesome is that? Hip hop, R&B, Jack Johnson, Yanni, or just the ocean waves, whatever... I chose the ocean waves. Anyway, I've been back to Kevin recently and he is now located in a Chiropractor's office. As always, he is awesome! He asks you what kind of massage you would like today - relaxing or get the knots out, and goes to work! I opted for in the middle, so I got the best of both worlds. It was relaxing but when he got to the spots that needed some TLC, he knew. Kevin also uses hot stones to calm/relax the muscles. I've never told Kevin this, but one of my favorite things that he does is he put an aromatherapy scent on this hands and asks you to breathe in several times before the massage starts. This helps me start my slow and relaxing breathing, as well as calms my mind down. If you have not seen Kevin, you are missing out. And ask him if he has any special promotions! read more

Kevin was great! After relocating from Hawaii to LV, I had a lot of stress that I was carrying and it manifested in a pain under my shoulder blade. I am not new to massages and always enjoy a good rub down or therapy session to rid myself of knots and stress. Kevin not only gave a great session (90 minute) but gave it at such a great rate that I don't know how casino spas continue to receive bookings with their overpriced packages. I told Kevin what my issues were, how much pressure I could take and if I wanted specialized attention in a specific area. Truthfully, he was a sweetheart. He seemed to know the perfect touch needed and where. I always enjoy how massages and the environment help put my mind in a "blank" state (which is extremely hard for me to achieve) but, for some reason, I started talking to him while he worked his magic. This is the first time I EVER started a conversation and STILL felt relaxed and worked over...not to mention I liked getting to know the person who was working me over while I'm lying naked under a sheet! Woohoo! As good as it gets! This is so true about Curatio Massage. I found Kevin at Curatio Massage through a Living Social coupon last year and have not looked back. I used to have a membership with Massage Envy and found that the massages I received were a hit or miss depending on the therapist you are able to book. Well, I no longer have to wonder if I am going to get a great massage because every massage I've had at Curatio Massage have been amazing. I always walk in with very tight and sore muscles and walk out feeling very relaxed and good. The one thing I appreciate is that every massage I have had with Kevin is done to my individual needs and liking. Before getting on the table, we talk for a few minutes to address any special attention or problem areas I want him to work on. The great thing is that he actually listens and knows exactly what needs to be done so that any soreness, tightness and aches are pretty most gone by the time my 90 minutes is up. I also like the use of aromatic oils and love the hot stones that is included in the massage. The hot stones maybe my favorite part because by the time he introduces them, Kevin has already managed to work out most of the knots on my shoulders and back and the heat from the stones just helps in relieving the stress and tension of the day. I have been a repeat customer of Kevin's and thought it would only be fitting to write a review because I believe more people should know where they can find a good massage therapist. This may mean that it would be harder to book an appointment with him, but Kevin is a great guy and it would only be selfish to keep the knowledge of a great massage therapist all to myself and of the others who have already posted here as well.
