I'm sure he's a great Chiropractor, but I went in for deep tissue therapeutic massage for muscle pain in my back/neck. Once back in the room, he cracked my back and neck and sent me on my way. When I asked about the massage, I was told "that's really not what we do". So paid the $49 and was sent on my way with no relief. Very professional and again I'm sure a very competent chiropractor. I have been a patient of Dr. Garlick since 2007. In prior years when I lived in California I had several terrible experiences with chiropractors being what I will label "rough." Dr. Garlick's techniques are very gentle. Since living here in Henderson, NV he is the only chiropractor I will go to. I have witnessed patients of all ages in his waiting room, from young children to adults in their 80's and 90's. He doesn't push monthly maintenance, which I appreciate. I know my body well enough to know when I need to see him. His office is walk-in only, no appointments necessary. I was referred to go see a chiropractor due to the severe back pain that I was feeling. I did some research to see if it was worth even going in and what other benefits I'll get out of a chiropractic appointment and guess what? It was totally worth it! Let me start off to say that Bridgett (receptionist) was welcoming as soon as my husband and I walked in. She gave me the necessary forms to fill out and after that we pretty much waited until the Doc was ready. We waited for maybe 15 mins, which isn't bad at all. From the moment Dr. Garlick introduced himself I knew he was going to provide great service! Great bedside manners and very informative with the process (since it was my first time seeing a chiropractor). I really liked that he allowed my husband to come in the room instead of having him wait up front (due to COVID I'm aware that some places will only allow the person who needs to be seen in the room and no one else). He also involved my husband in the process and showed him what needed to be adjusted. My first chiropractor adjustment and definitely not my last! Thank you Dr. Garlick for the awesome service! Dr. Garlick is straight to the point, doesn't waste your time or money & gives great manual adjustments, which is exactly what I needed! I have been to a few chiropractors in my life. I'm very healthy, when i feel something is not quite right, even a very small issue I want to have it check out. Most of the time the chiropractor would want to see me 2,3 times a week afterward for months, which for me it's really not necessary (don't get me wrong if i need to be treated i would be there but a small discomfort should not have long long treatment). Because of that issue I tend to look for new chiropractor place where i can just come in and out quick for small simple adjustment. And here it is, I came to Cielo chiropractic and super happy about the service from start to finish. The front desk girl is doing an excellent job welcoming customers. I've suffered from extreme shoulder/back pain for a few years now. My job as a dental assistant (along w motherhood) requires a lot of stress/pressure on my neck & shoulders. Walk-ins welcome. I discovered that his kids help sometimes with the reception/scheduling which is sweet. Dr. Garlick made a really good first impression by making the appointment super informative, supportive, & comfortable. I'm happy that I finally decided to make an appt towards my health. I had trouble sleeping this whole week due to extreme tension & sharp pain. During the adjustment, my neck/back/pelvis was cracked in allllll the places that needed to finally release. I took like a 4 hour nap after the adjustment lol. My family has personally been affected financially due to the pandemic, so it was honestly amazing to get care right away in a cost-effective way when I needed it the most. I'll confess, I was slightly bothered by the fact that I could not make an appointment to see the Doctor. And, there was a brief wait. However, it was worth it. Bridgette, the reception was kind and made a great first impression and assured me the Doctor would be finished quickly! Dr. Garlick was informative, friendly, and made me feel comfortable, as soon as I met him. And after having gotten my adjustment, I was free of all angst! For the first time a over a week, I was able to stand upright. Doctor identified the problem areas, made the necessary adjustments, and I was out the door happy. Because it was my first visit, I was able to take advantage of the $25 introductory offer. And although the office has several "packages" available, I was only offered them. There was no sales pitch or attempt to coerce me to buy any of them.
