From the welcome you receive from Dr.Joel's wife at reception to the treatment Dr. Joel gives you, this is a 10/10 practice! Dr.Joel not only aligns you perfectly, but he always goes above and beyond by rehabilitating you! He puts me on a warm massage table with a tenns machine on the problem areas and within the 30 minutes, I'm mobile and nimble again! I went to see Dr. Johnson a few month ago based on a stellar recommendation from a friend. The care was great, and I was really pleased with my results. At first I was apprehensive about getting adjusted but Dr. Johnson explained about everything to expect beforehand and was very patient and professional. I don't have insurance and his pricing was very affordable. My first visit was an initial consultation, asking about my history, adjustments, and massage bed with electric therapy (which felt odd but kind of good ha!) I definitely recommend this business and I've already referred friends and family. I'm glad I went. He even helped me discover that part of my back problem was due to kidney stones after he sent me a referral to get an X-ray. I usually never have issues but this location really rubbed me the wrong way. Mr. Johnson seemed like a nice guy, but the location of the business is really tough to find, especially it being next to another Therapy Center (Optical Physical Therapy), which actually were super nice in helping me find this little location. Then when I met with Mr. Johnson, he seemed rushed and un-compassionate about any situation. I rather drive across town to another location then have to deal with this on a weekly basis. I love this guy! I've only had to go see him twice, but each time it's been such a relief. I usually get Sciatica/Piriformis pain that makes it so I can hardly walk. He is gentle, but also very confident in what he's doing. I scheduled my appointment at 5:00 and I arrived at 4:00. He was able to take me right back an hour early! I was really impressed by that. He makes you feel comfortable and chats with you a little bit to pinpoint where the pain is coming from, but also to make sure you're comfortable. My favorite part is the massage table with the heating pad at the end. I will recommend Joel to anybody who needs a good Chiropractor. I have been seeing Dr. Johnson for many years. I haven't written a review before as I typically don't write reviews. I felt compelled after this appointment with him to write one but I should have a long time ago! Dr. Johnson is not only an extremely good practitioner, but also has the best bedside manner. He truly cares about the well being of his patients. You can tell in spending just a few minuets with him that he did not enter the medical profession to make money but to help others. I recently was in a bad car accident and needed to see him. I was having a hard time making the time to get in to see him with other commitments and he was more than accommodating to get me in for a same day appointment. My insurance does not cover this practice but to me it is worth the out of pocket cost every time. This is a family run practice. Every time I have come, the transition between patients is smooth and I feel he takes the time needed with each and every patient and I never feel rushed. Dr. Johnson is not your stereotypical chiropractor that pushes appointment after appointment after appointment. He treats my injuries/pain and has me follow up as needed on my terms/based on how I feel. I can't thank you enough for your truly amazing care when I was in pain. Your kindness did not go unnoticed.
