I went to Dr. Harris yesterday for the first time and boy Did he take care of me! He thoroughly takes time to feel everything that's wrong in your body and tries to fix it! Dr Ed Harris took thousands of dollars of my money, all while I suffered thru herniating a disc in my lower back, instead of giving me the information I needed to prevent it. Then eventually became very unprofessional towards me, and refused to give me my records so I could continue care elsewhere. It was despicable. read more

I realize this place has all 5 star reviews, but that was just not my experience. I came here for lower back and hip pain with high hopes for Dr. Harris. As much as I liked the Dr's personality, I won't be returning for several reasons. First, the treatment area is an open room that is shared with a couple different offices and there are people walking by while you are getting worked on. Also be aware they do not accept any insurance. This was told to me upfront and I was fine with the $50 charge as its only $10 more than my co-pay would have been. I arrived at 10:55 for my 11:00 appointment. I noticed one person ahead of me waiting and another arrived right after me. I was not taken back until 11:17 and was back in my car at 11:30. Yes, $50 for a 13 minute appointment. I felt very rushed and didn't feel like I was given the time I needed or paid for. I had no relief from my symptoms but in all fairness I only came here twice. I didn't feel comfortable here and definitely don't feel I got my money's worth. read more

I cannot say enough good things about them. Not only are they good people but they are great chiropractors. I've been seeing a chiro since I was in high school due to a sports injury. And I was distraught when I moved from Southern CA because I didn't know what I would do.... for a while I drove back to SoCA every 4-6 weeks for a routine adjustment with my chiro there. Dr. Ed and his wife are amazing people. I have personally benefited so much physically since first coming that it has led to the rollover of much emotional/mental benefits. Chronic pain is so common and starts as a whisper and becomes a constant nag or even a nasty scream, I still wait too long to come in for tune ups, but he is able to get you where you need very quickly. He believes you will get better and encourages you to believe the same, and he also gives a lot of tips on how to think about correcting your posture habits. Brief summary: Before I saw Dr. Harris I was told I required surgery, pain killers and shots! My pain levels were at 8-9 for over 6 months. The thing that was weird is I only had LEG pain! But it turned out to be my BACK! I know it sounds weird. If i didn't live through it I wouldn't believe it either. Trust me leg pain can be rooted in your back! Now I'm pain free. I got my life back! You can too! More detail about my story: I'm very against surgery and pain killers. Tho at this point I know why people take drugs and have surgery. It was the most unimaginable pain ever! Apparently equivalent to child birth, which I had for over six months. I don't want to get sliced up like a pig nor get addicted to drugs! But I was in so much pain even routine things were agonizing. Little things you take for granted like walking into an elevator. If the farthest one opened, sometimes I wouldn't hobble fast enough to make. :( It was the most awful pain ever. Completely distracting. I couldn't focus on work or even friendly conversations or sitting for dinner. You should know, Dr Harris doesn't accept insurance. So I had my reservations about the bills racking up quickly. Don't let this bother you! It concerned me at first. But remember this: It's WAY more expensive to have surgery or be in perpetual pain! Surgery is a bill for LIFE! You will never be able to go back! I saw 3 other Chiropractors before I went to Dr Harris. It's clear to me now that they basically didn't know how to help me or what was actually wrong. They all referred me to surgery after 4 weeks of wasted time, money and misery. Dr Harris was my LAST HOPE!!! After 2 weeks of seeing Dr Harris (3 times / week) my pain levels were down to 1-2. A dream come true! After a month, virtually gone, which is a pain level of 0-1!! And after a month we got down to adjustments once every 2 weeks! He identified issues with my posture that no other "so-called chiropractor" identified. He knows the body so well! Please give yourself a chance to be pain free! This was a pivotal decision in my life. If I had surgery, I would be in a terrible place now. Another thing about Dr Harris is he practices what he preaches. The exercises he tells you to do, he does himself. It's obvious when he demonstrates them! Don't be discouraged when you can't do the as well as he does. You will get better! Reality of surgery: Apparently 25% need the surgery again in the first 3 months. Those are AWFUL numbers! And that's assuming they didn't paralyze you in the process. The 12 month numbers are even worse. Proof that surgery CLEARLY doesn't fix the root cause. They wanted to take out my disc material. But we need to keep that! I have scoliosis & a herniated disc in my neck . I went to 4 other Chiropractors before Dr.Harris , still always in so much pain . I refused pain killers & steroid shots , but was very close to surgery because the pain was too much ! I am a retired police officer from Canada and was in Henderson, Nevada training K9 teams. During my tenure there for five weeks I was in enormous back pain that got to the point where I could hardly function. I was introduced to Dr. Harris by a law enforcement friend of mine. For the entire month Dr. Harris worked hard to help me function. He made the pain bearable and I was actually able to complete the training I was there to do, in spite of the back problem. He has incredibly unique abilities and I will always be grateful for what he did for me. In the end, when I returned to Canada, I learned that I had four fully herniated disks in my back and a fifth that was bulging badly. It took months of treatment and medical help before I was fully recovered, but there is no way I could have made it as long as I did without Dr. Harris's help. To add to that, my wife has two artificial hips, and as a result of one surgery, one leg shorter than the other which has caused her much pain over the years. When she came to see me in Henderson I took her to see Dr. Harris, and he took her under his care for the few days she was there, and for the first time in many years, she was able to walk and sleep on her side without pain.
