I decided to wander into their workspace to learn what I could about this company that had a terrific reputation and had gotten press for being worker owned. When I walked in I was greeted by gracious Derek working at his computer near the entrance. Behind him I saw one of my decades-old cartoons about solar power on the back wall of the office. A good sign. The collegial space was packed with an industrious diverse crew with a sunny vibe. Forgive the pun but it is rooted in truth. A positive workspace is telling. Now wonder they're the best. Derek explained the available financing, how the system would be designed and the simple steps and I was delighted with the affordability and the speed with which I could have photovoltaic panels generating power on my roof. A year before I had posted interest in solar and was descended upon by sales people from the many solar operators here in southern Arizona. It was discouraging and dizzying. Unlike that blizzard of experiences my encounter with TFS was encouraging both because of the affordability and the simplicity of the steps. I was sold on the spot. We are buying our system on time and it will cost us much less than our electric bill and in the future will easily make even greater sense. In this strange political time going solar was an enjoyable act of defiance for us. Derek, Tamarack and Taylor and the other co-owners of TFS whom I encountered during the installation were terrific. TFS was present throughout the process of inspections, installation steps and reviews insuring a painless and pleasant transition. The patient positive attitude of everyone at TFS blew us away, both in the office, and in the field, at our home. The crews that came to my hacienda were staffed by exceptional highly experienced workers. The TFS electricians who replaced the old circuit box with a beautiful modern model were good humored and happy to explain their mission. The TFS installers of the panel supports and the panels who followed were a competent synchronized team who were equally cheerful about answering our questions. The much anticipated day TFS guided us through the simple steps of turning on our system was thrilling to this homeowner. Once the app we loaded was showing us how much energy the sun light was producing the experience felt magical. We set about using our appliances like kids, savoring the scientific miracle of sunlight powering powering our washer, dishwasher and oven. Our hacienda is powered by TFS and our hearts were warmed by TFS.

I've followed up and gotten bs response #1. be patient. you'll have it soon! a month after that still nothing. many other local solar companies can get you a quote in days and do a full proposal and site visit in a week. Obviously these guys are not motivated. They also seem to believe that all of there solar customers are green cred motivated by doing solar for the good of the planet. That's Not me. Yet. All their marketing and effort seems dedicated to appealing to my emotions and not the cold hard facts. So. All in all. Don't waste your time with these people.

I followed a trusted salesman to Solar Gain, Inc. in Tucson following an installation…read more I called them to have an additional battery backup installed. Following that installation, I discovered that two components in my home had been blown out. Solar Gain basically told me to pound sand. After a series of very poor reviews, Solar Gain agreed to repair the issues if I bought the new equipment. I agreed and moved on. In July, the battery system failed. At 3 AM, I'm on the phone with support in India trying to figure how to bypass my system to get power back to my essential appliances. The next morning, I called Solar Gain for assistance and was treated like some sort of inconvenience. Eventually they agreed to send someone out at a cost of 625 dollars to look at the system. All they did was turn the system back online which I could have done. They showed no concern for WHY the system failed. Now comes Labor Day. 6:15 PM and the system fails again. After an angry phone call, I finally hear from the salesman three days later saying that a new manager would be calling me to resolve the problem. His idea of a resolution was to charge me another 600 dollars or so to come out and do what I had already paid 625 dollars for. Needless to say, I left them and went elsewhere. The new people came in and found that the settings in the system were incorrect. The system said I had NINE batteries rather than 6. They found that the firmware on the system was wrong and required what the tech called "A fifteen-dollar piece of equipment." The tech then troubleshot the entire system, made a few adjustments, tested for different conditions to ensure that all was in good order and gave it a good grade. Exactly what did I pay Solar Gain, Inc. for? The answer: Absolutely nothing. To top it all off, I found that for 601 dollars I could be covered completely for a whole year. Stay away from Solar Gain. Either their integrity or their professionalism is in serious question.

Our HOA signed a contract with them back in May after they had promised us that they would begin repairs on our security gates by mid June. They actually started work on them just about 10 days ago, so lie #1. We were told it would probably take between 2 to 3 weeks to complete work on each gate (we have 2) that needed to be repaired. That is not going to happen so lie #2. Signal says this delay is caused by the fact they don't have the proper materials and parts. Yet on their homepage, they say that outside contractors and individuals can come to their warehouse and buy parts. They should have ordered set aside all the parts and materials they planned on using for our contract. We have no security gates for our community and we are upset. Would suggest any further customers get firm guarantees on all aspects of their contract since obviously Signal Gates can't be trusted.

Now that the gates are in, the response time on the entry gates is horribly slow. But the real problem is that one of them does not respond to motorcycles trying to exit. I have no idea what kind of controller they use, but in this day and age for a system to take 5-10 seconds to respond to an entry, and then to not respond at all to a large motorcycle on the exit is horribly poor performance.

I chose this company both because of their reasonable price, their clarity of information, honesty and responsiveness. This company is operated by Chaz and his wife Danielle. For example, I had a problem rain seeping into my garage through the water heater and furnace ventilation. Another company that did the same exact work on my neighbor's roof told me upon inspection "Nothing can be done about that.". This companies estimate for roof repair was much higher than Dependables. On his inspection, Chaz told me that he could replace the ventilation jacks and seal them. Since Dependable Roofing completed their work in May, 2022 there have been heavy rains and I have had no leakage problems. In addition, Chaz gave me the same warranty as the other company. I was nervous about selecting a roofing company as this involved thousands of dollars. But am really glad I took the time to get 5 estimates and inspections and I'm grateful that I found Dependable Roofing. I give them my highest recommendation.

The 4 months is about up, all I have is a slab and some framing, and no one has been on the site for 3 weeks. They have most of the money. They billed me for the third payment which was due after passing framing. They never had that inspection done. The original contract said the second payment was due after passing framing. I asked the completion date be 4 months instead of 6 months. Chad initialed the change and we signed. They sent a Docusign that evening which showed the change. What I didn't catch was they changed the terms - the second payment was due after slab and plumbing. I now know when it comes to making a claim for abandonment, if ROC issues a Corrective work order, the respondent needs to be allowed a minimum of 15 days, plus time for mail delivery, to complete the corrective work. Statute specifies a minimum, not a maximum. If the respondent has completely stopped working and walked off the job and is not returning phone calls or emails, that could possibly be considered abandonment. ICT has left 2 ladders and a wheel barrow on site. Chad does return phone calls. This could go on forever. I have a house that is now uninhabitable. Fortunately I was able to find a physical mailing address (not the PO box at Cherrybelle) at https://safer.fmcsa.dot.gov/;search by "Innovative Construction" or US DOT #3032028. I mailed ICT a certified letter that the contract is over for the following reasons: breach of contract, damages, abandonment, poor workmanship, fraud, and misrepresentation. I am going with a far more reputable company who should finish in 10 weeks. I'm sure ICT would sue me for the balance of the contract if I wasn't able to send them notice to a proper address by certified mail. The remodel was only 345 square feet. They got $63000 for $20000 worth of work and I will have to pay another $73000 to complete the job, omitting a porch, for a job that should have been $85000.

Updated review:…read more TLDR: Russett sold us a defective unit for $9,000 4 years ago, it is still under warranty, but they want $2,900 to do the repairs under warranty. Do not buy Lennox, do not buy Russett. Full story below. Unit is a Lennox, purchased from and installed by Russett, still under warranty. It stopped cooling in mid June so we made some calls. Russett didn't get back to us the first day, so we called another company to at least get an idea of what we were looking at. They sent a tech out same day and he showed me photos of a cracked coil and leaked refrigerant and oil in the pan. Short version: coil needs replacing. He uses an OEM approved part to get us up and running and says hey, just so you know, Lennox has a rough time with warranty claims. So I call Russett again, thinking that as a Lennox dealer and the original installer they will be able to make this right. I call first thing in the morning and try to describe what's going on, then ask if they can help us navigate the warranty claim process. On the other end of the line is awkward silence. Then a vague sentence about "warranty claims don't really work like that." Ok... then can you explain how they do work? So I say goodbye. I've been confused, but polite and civil the entire time. After all that and getting no help on the phone from Russett yesterday morning, a manager called me back in the middle of the day and said he'd like to "help us out." By this point our AC is out in late June and the temp inside our house hit 94. The manager refused to quantify what "helping us out" meant. Does that mean you'll just come over and fix it? "No, but we'd like to help." I say I will call him back later. In the meantime, our unit is down again, this time on a 109 degree day. So I call our other tech again. He comes by for no additional charge and gets us up and running- the temporary patch on the coil is not the problem! Now there is a cracked fan blade and a bad capacitor! He gets us running in 20 min and says if Russett won't help us he'll give a good deal on the labor to replace the broken parts. Fast forward, I called Russett back this morning. I asked them to quantify what "helping us out" actually means, because now we need three warranty parts replaced. He said the discounted labor rate for a machine they sold us and installed, still under warranty, is $2,900. 30% of the original install price to replace their defective crap. When I laughed out loud at this, the Russett manager said "We don't make them, we just sell them." I replied that maybe they should not be selling garbage to their customers. The other company is helping me with the claim and giving me a dramatically better price ($800) on labor for the repair. Original Review Below: Russet sold us a lemon of an ac unit a couple years ago. Still under warranty but springing leaks in the coil. 500 bucks in from a different company for a temporary repair. Asked russet to help us navigate the warranty and got silence on the other end of the line. Ac not working, no help from russet.
