I came here after being recommended a particular technician by a friend. This technician was actually at the front desk when I arrived so I had an opportunity to chat and kind of feel this place out. So, let me just say that the glowing reviews around the web are all completely accurate. I wasn't pressured into anything, he listened without interruption about what I wanted to say, and then he provided his opinion on the matter. I was completely comfortable by leaving my equipment here for repair.
A few days later I received a call with the status and to come and pick up the repaired equipment. When I arrived I was given a chance to review everything before accepting the repair. I was able to go through everything in detail. I understand now why so many "compute repair" places have such mixed reviews or such horror stories. You have to find a place that has real professionals working there, not geeks. This is what this is about. I was able to work with a professional who understood my needs and was able to offer me professional service. For the geeks you can go anywhere, including your children and neighbors. If you want the repair done professionally and feel comfortable about it, then this is the place to go. A note on price: I did shop around before I stopped in, even with the recommendation, because who doesn't shop for price? Some places would give me absolutely crazy prices no one would ever pay, some wouldn't give me prices at all, and some started talking about the prices before I even told them about my issue. This is another way I can tell that the place has genuine professionals. The price here was never in my face, it wasn't even discussed in detail until he understood the issue.And only then he gave me OPTIONS, not just a one-price fits all kind of deal. I couldn't really even discuss price with him, he wasn't a salesman, but a real tech. I spoke with a separate person about the price and the options and how to solve the issue by spending the least amount.. I was given a choice of 3 options and was asked asked what I wanted to do. T be perfectly honest, the price was not the absolute lowest, but it was still the best price I could have hoped for. Basically, the return on investment here is huge, it's better than anywhere else, and that's what my friend who recommended it to me. They could have charged me double and I would still have been happy to pay it because I knew it was going to get done right. No question about this - this place has a well-deserved reputation of A+++. I learned that they're a kind of staple in our community for over a decade and have a feature article in the Morning Call written on them 10 years ago or so. To me that does say something about their reputation and also that they've made it this long.
One final note about their business reputation. I learned it's beyond excellent. I don't mean business online reputation, I mean the reputation they have for helping other businesses. I'm a small business owner myself and I've contacted some of the businesses that reviewed this company and also some that they've told me they've worked with. It's a huge list. Their business support operation is probably the best I've ever encountered after being told as much. There is absolutely nothing they can't do, apparently, and they do it in a huge geographic area.
