I told David that I despritely wanted to save it as I had a number of unreplacable software programs and I would not use it online. David did not give me the time of day. He told me that he would have answers for me in a few days, and after a few weeks I picked it up. He blew it off as too old and the motherboard was shot as well as the power supply. I just know that he barely looked at it, but I was charged for his time. So, I just knew that I needed a second opinion and I took it to another tech who diagnosed the problem immediately. It was a blown video card, and in 2 days I had it back and running. It did not matter to David that this computer was highly valued by me, and all he offered me was to build me a new one. I am having a new one built, but NOT BY KINN. Terrible experience.

I heard nothing from him on Sat. When he did call with an estimate it was higher than the cost of a new Kindle. When I told him this, he argued with me and hung up the phone. I went to pick up the Kindle on Monday and there was a charge!!! He had never told me about a possible charge for an estimate on a repair. So, I paid $31.00 to get my Kindle back. I would not recommend this business. Not only did I receive a charge - when a charge was never mentioned - but the owner was rude. Sorry Kinn Computers, you won't see me back, nor any of my friends.

Told me they could fix the…read morePS4 for a reasonable price and it would run better than it did when I first got it due to the parts they proposed for me to buy and have them installed. I was told it would only take a week to be fixed and I walked out of the store with high hopes. Long story short, it took them over three weeks to fix it, they charged me an extra $40s than the price that was given to me when I first dropped it off. They forgot to give me back my power cord and after just two days of having my PS4 back it stopped working again. I brought it back and told them that it still wasn't fixed, they took it back apologized and informed me of a potential $30 service charge to fix it. At this point I put my foot down and told them exactly what I put in this review. They refixed my PS4 for free and I haven't had an issue with it since. I don't plan on EVER using computer wizard's service again.

We are retired senior citizens who are not great with computers, but try our best and have learned…read morequite a bit from Beck's Techs. We located Beck's Techs years ago and they have saved the day in this home! We have referred them to other home owners and small businesses that we know and all have been very satisfied with the cost and continued willingness to provide help needed. I must question the one review by Carole K. submitted on 7/20/2022. I do not question a service call costing 65 dollars; I believe, after reviewing other companies that the cost of a service call and travel is very reasonable for at home service. What I question is if a computer is absolutely shot, so old and out of date that it is not wise to have it "fixed", might Beck's Techs have provided a new computer/laptop for the total cost of $795.00 back in 2022. That is the kind of work James Beck's company has always done for me and my husband. This company provides honest service, provides quality parts or replacements and does an excellent job for their customers. They are a local company who will make sure your computer system is up and running correctly and advise you when you have a problem. If problems are severe, they will return your call and come back to your home office/business when necessary. Work done for us over the years: clean up a desktop, new laptops when necessary due to age of desktops, hook up an older large monitor to a new laptop so work can be done that requires using two screens simultaneously when necessary, and cleaning up help or explanation with files when needed. We trust Beck's Techs with all IT problems and have even given him remote access when needed for fast fixes! We could not expect any better service or equipment from Beck's Techs for the money we have paid over many, many years. Owner is definitely an expert in the field of computer/IT systems, cyber security, etc.
