    Such a hidden gem. The place is kind of tucked in a little center across from H-Mart, but it's really solid. The inside is cozy and reminiscent of how compact it can feel like being in LA. I really only came for the halo-halo and it was great! It wasn't overly sweet and had a good balance of toppings. Overall, great spot that I look forward to coming back to.

    Loved this local spot! Growing up Filipino in the Bay Area I was always surrounded by the best food options and Filipino food when I moved down to LA was a lot harder to find but Neri's hits the spot! I had the laing with lechon and it came with a generous serving plus rice. I also took a Bibinka to go - delicious! There's a piece of salted egg in the middle which isn't my thing but the bake on it was great and of course you get that hint of banana leaf. I'm excited to try out their other dishes, they have a lot of the classics plus more local dishes like fresh lumpia (we know what's up on that one), Diniguan, etc. Casual tables and lots of lunch traffic when I went. Parking available in the garage under the plaza.

    GREAT FOOD GREAT SERVICE! the portions are super generous. The pancit was flavorful and pata was cripsy outaide tender inside. Customer service was 10/10! Didnt releaize we arrived close to closing and they still let us eat inside no pressure.

    We always come here to each during lunch break with classmates and friends. Sometimes I still would order online through ubereats. The food is delicious my all time favorites are bangus and the bistek tagalog. Don't forget to try the gulaman drink. The place is clean and a lot of space so you can actually enjoy eating without worrying of being packed. The ambiance is very relax and sometimes thry play filipino rock band music? And I like it. I think over all if you miss Filipino food, this is on of the place that is worth checking out...

    We ordered Neri's takeout for team lunch at the office and it did not disappoint. We ordered pancit, kare kare, adobo, lumpia, sisig and there wasn't one dish left behind. While I can't speak to ambiance i can speak to how good the food was, and approved by our Filipino coworker !

    Freshly made and authentic Filipino food. They have Kamayan feast here. Reserve at least 48 hrs advance. Will have to try Kamayan here next time. Parking lot is below Neri's. Same your receipts for discounted parking, minimum purchase $20.

    Great prices, great flavors, and homestyle Filipino Classics. That is how I would summarize Neri's! We were looking for homestyle Filipino food at a reasonable price and that is exactly what we got at Neri's! Something that I noticed right away was the food was not super salty which is a great compliment to the chef since Filipino restaurants can often be overly salted because of the fish sauce and bagoong in dishes. The portions were a bit small on the pinakbet while the chicken adobo had small pieces of meat that looked like what was leftover from the night and the gravy could have been more vinegary. This is my only reason for the -1 star. Otherwise, I thought the menu had a great selection of Filipino dishes, service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was clean. I would love to come back and try more items!

    1 1/2 minute read: The original NERIS was on Occidental Blvd. And we lost track of where NERIS went ... till today. I came on YELP and typed CRISPY PATA, and NERIS POPPED UP. Here we are. Happy again. While there, the cashier told me the Owner was in the Kitchen but was busy. I didn't want to bother him (Owner) so I didn't insist on saying "HELLO ", but while our order was being prepared, guess who comes out of the kitchen? Yep. The Owner. When he caught a glimpse of of my wife and I, his eyes popped wide, lifted his right hand and pointed a finger at us, saying "WELL LOOKY HERE!" We knew the Owners, from when they had the restaurant on Occidental Blvd, near Hoover at Wilshire. The Owners are the husband, ROMY & his dear wife NERI. While we ate his food, he told us why they moved their restaurant. We got to know them because they knew my wife's Father since back in the 80's. Anyway, go enjoy some CRISPY PATA and meet ROMY.     The pork barbecue i had was tough and chunky, They should have used pork belly instead. They need to hire a better cook !

    Nothing to rave about. Food was mediocre at best. Kare Kare was super salty and the Bilo Bilo had absolutely no Bilo Bilo. So disappointed.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Los Angeles' Silver Lake neighbourhood, Spoon & Pork was a cozy boutique eatery on bustling Sunset Boulevard that greeted guests with a neon pig sign at their front entrance. No private lot on this busy street, so finding nearby parking was a bit challenging and although the charming spot offered both indoor and al fresco dining, seating was also limited. The service is also amazing. Waiting in line and eating outside, their social media manager goes around talking to people on a mic and making sure everyone is having a good time. At checkout, they are happy to help you and grab anything you need. They also have people outside monitoring the grill and stepping in if you need help or the stick accidentally catches on fire. Just the feeling of sitting outside surrounded by Filipinos and Filipino food lovers and eating food from our childhood, just made me and my group feel so nice.
