Excellent customer service at this fledling game store. Owner was personable and kind. If I was local I would visit often.

Hmm... I have mixed feelings about the Art of Bloom. In a way, I equate it to LACMA's Rain Room…read more.. where you pay to be in one room. There are 2 ish rooms - first room is the main event with the flowers scattering their petals mingled with scents. The lighting also changes depending on your ambient temperature which was neat as well! The next room uses their AR app where you take pictures of the little things that pop out at you on little platforms. There's a shop, then a mini area where you can smell the scents broken apart - then you head back to the main room to reassess the smells. While I did enjoy the room and artistry... I would suggest the AR room to include opportunities to be able to fit ourselves in all of them. It was difficult because you needed to put your camera so close to the platforms so we were unable to be in it. I had a fun time, but I think maybe a few more rooms would have been nice! They do have a lot of events that sound really cool to do in the room, but they cost more than the $25 ish I spent for this. It made for cute pictures though! P A R K I N G There's a lot nearby that gives 2 hour free parking! The exhibit shouldn't take you much longer than an hour, although I stayed a bit to sit and smell the roses! ;)

I was getting a lot of ads on The Art of Bloom (TAOB) on Instagram so I finally bought tickets and…read morewent to see it for myself. I bought a student ticket for about $21, including service fees. The tickets have timed entry slots and it is recommended to come 5 minutes before your slot but no later than 15 minutes after. We got in, scanned our tickets and signed a waiver, and then we were led to the first exhibit. The first exhibit was their main attraction - a flowered ceiling with lights and petals falling. It was very beautiful and definitely IG-worthy. We were the only ones there so we got to take as many photos as we wanted. The second exhibit is the AR one. You need to download their app and then you can hover over the displays and see cool AR flowers bloom, petals fall, or little people running around. The third "exhibit" is the gift shop. They had perfume, shirts, and tote bags. We bought the AR stickers (a pack of 6 for about $5) so we could use the app at home and see the cool AR flowers and people. Overall, the pop-up was very interactive and elegant. However, it was small and short (we finished in about 30-40 minutes). I loved looking at everything but it is a bit pricey for what it is.

Attended the Queen Mary Night Market summer events in 6/2024 …read more Lo and behold I spot Khin Khao amongst the crowd as one of the participants vendors . Of course my contemplation of what to eat has been decided. Khin Khao for the win , as always the friendly service and tasty food has remained consistent . My usual favorite from here are their mango sweet rice dessert , boat noodles and the beef salad . Others boat noodles are sweet , not at khin khao, their flavors was superb with a melding of savory goodness taste . Mango sweet rice dessert is a seasonal dish on their menu, I made sure to order a few container for the next day . ( depending on yellow mango season) definitely a must buy from them . Tip: when at home take out the sticky rice and steam until warm or a steam in the steamer. Pour in the sweet sauce into the warm rice mix well and eat with the mango . Yumm

It reminded me just like how my friends momma used to cook for me in high school. Taste brought back memories. Perfect char and smokey taste to beef as well. Pickled veg was also really good, not very sweet or bitter but a nice freshness with the beef. Similar to this white kimchi so I loved it! Can't wait to try their other menu options, but the skewers will not disappoint if you . I can't explain it but the seasoning on it is just amazing. Follow them on ig for event updates :)
