This computer repair shop is located on the second floor of a strip mall. I brought my older Dell laptop because I was having battery issues. Vic took the time to check it out and quickly confirmed that the problem was indeed the battery. Instead of trying to upsell me on a repair, he was completely honest and told me that putting money into an older model might not be the best use of my money. He went above and beyond by suggesting newer laptop options that are comparable and available at better price points. On top of that, he even told me that if I did decide to replace the battery myself, I could email him and he'd let me know exactly what to buy and where to get it. That level of honesty and helpfulness is rare. I left feeling thoroughly satisfied with their customer service and recommendations. They just said it's not repairable, and cheaper to buy a new one. We paid $35 for inspection/diagnosis (whatever they call it), and left the store. When I opened the laptop to put NVMe back, I saw that RAM was missing from laptop after we got home. They told me to pick RAM up from store when I called them. How convenient for them to "FORGET" to put RAM back. We brought in the complete laptop, but they did not even bother to put the laptop back to one piece at least. Hottest summer ever in L.A. My laptop was overheating like mad rendering it unbearable to use. I ordered replacement fans and I was contemplating open up the laptop and fixing it myself but then I thought twice and decided to get a professional to handle all the screws to get to the fans. Max to the rescue! Kingly Computer is located in a non descript strip mall on La Cienega. Its easy to miss unless you know you are about to meet a handsome friendly young man who will save your ass.
