I really can't say enough how much I enjoyed visiting this coffee shop...the staff was so welcoming and friendly (in a chill rather than hovering way), the espresso drinks were fantastic, the Einstein-themed decor sets just the right mood...and you can hydrate to your heart's content using their fantastic and aesthetic ice water cooler. The daily special -- avocado on quinoa toast -- was a great way to start the day with healthy fuel. It had just the right amount of seasoning on top to make it look and taste delicious. They had a high-end Fender bluetooth speaker playing groovy tunes at a low-to-medium volume -- also a great touch. If I lived in Brooklyn this would be my regular go-to coffee shop! read more

This is the best coffee and matcha in the neighborhood that I have found so far. The coffee is rich and robust, without being too dark. The matcha is legit and not this fake powder you get at most places. The atmosphere is fun, and the owners are friendly and care about the quality of what they are offering. There are several coffee shops in this neighborhood, but give this one a try. My husband and I have been regulars at a few other shops, but this is definitely our new go to spot! read more

Not kid friendly. They offer cool ice cream flavors like avocado, and banana curry. So when I asked what ice cream flavor most kids liked, she was annoyed and responded: "honesty its whatever flavor the parents want to give their child!!!". I asked if my child could try the charred banana before ordering, and she said: "no samples". I also ordered two lavender Lattes for the adults, that didn't taste like Lavender at all. Tasted more like milk and water. Do not recommend, and wont go back. read more

I am a creature of habit, regularly getting the Ethiopian blend latte or cappuccino and it's always hit the spot. I've only had one mild issue where I ordered a lavender latte and the barista just gave me a normal one...that aside I quite like this place. I simply wish it opened at 7 am. =( read more

Best place in carroll Gardens, red hook, Gowanus area for drip coffee / espresso drinks. The owners are lovely and they really care about the quality of their coffee / service. They don't cut any corners to making amazing coffee / espresso drinks - from sourcing beans to the equipment they use. Pretty hard to find this type of dedication to coffee elsewhere in the city. So glad they opened up in the neighborhood! They also have amazing avocado toast if you're looking for something healthier than Court St. Grocers. read more

I have lived in the neighborhood for over 6 years but don't venture to this side of Carroll Gardens that much. I had their coffee twice and now am trying to find reasons to go out of my way to have their coffee again! First time I just had a black coffee. It was strong and smooth. Love this place and the owners! Cappucino was excellent and they have the most interesting concoctions with no caffeine as well. In response to Ilana G. (who gave a one star review because of the brand of milk) they have indeed brought in local milk from Battenkill Valley! So maybe you want to support small, independent business and edit your review.
